The repair guys REALLY screwed up. Had they done a bang up job the Goonz boys would have bragged them up and they would have gotten some free advertising directly to people that are interested.

But the "fixed" one was not done well and during the time it was in the other shop the new one came in from GM so they used it.
Having spent 17 years as owner of PBE Jobber, I can tell you about fisheyes. Use wax and grease remover, turn the rags often, don’t just smear the contaminants around. After that, do not touch the parts with bare hands, use inspection gloves if you must move them. Also, use wax and grease remover before wet sanding or you risk driving wax or silicone down into the substrate.
Initially I use wax n grease remover after washing car but then I wash the panel after final sanding and then use alcohol water solution instead of continually using wax n grease remover so I dont get any chemicals in substrate.
Keep doing what your doing Guys !! You both are doing what you like never loose that sight !! Good luck in everything you do for yourselves and complete strangers 🙏

any idea as to how much air that system is moving and what it would take to "de-humidify" it? If a downdraft paint booth is 16 feet wide and 14 feet tall, typical air velocity in the booth would be 50 to 100 FPM. For this example, let's use 50 FPM. (lowest estimate)The total flow through the booth (16 x 40 x 50) would be 32,000 CFM. Now go price a dehumidifier for that many cfm. Good luck. The best option is to wait for a good day. Patience pays off.

Fish eyes are caused by the paint flashing off the solvents in the booth with no airflow. You will notice it only happens to parts laid out flat, not the hung up parts. You need to keep the air moving through the paint booth until its flashed everything off. Then you can close it up and let it cure.

Without the heat shield on those headers, especially at the top that heat is going to start melting the plastic engine cover that’s in the back of the car you gotta put some kind of heat shield back on those he the regular exhaust. Had he shield on it he did that for a reason…..😳😳😳🤔🤔

I don’t understand the varying amounts of hate for the giveaways. I mean they get good revenue from their online store, and a large amount of viewers individually spend a little pocket money for some merch that they might’ve bought anyway, except it gives everyone a chance to win some really cool shit. It’s a win win if you ask me. I just wish I could participate, because where I live is always excluded from contests like this.

These guys are pretty good about that. An air dryer may be something to consider.
You can also add fisheye removal

Ever considered attaching a dehumidifier to the air intake for the paint booth? Would save you lots and eliminate the "fisheyes".

Fisheyes are usually caused by silicone contamination, also oil or grease on the panel can cause them too but humidity does not cause them.
