I used to work in several stores, selling high end china, crystal, and silver. I have a love for fine china. Having been trained on lines like Herend, Bernadaud, Rosenthal, as well as more common lines like Wedgwood, Spode, and V&B - I know the workmanship that goes into each piece. Gorgeous tile at that museum!! I laughed out loud at Joerg's dance in the "pub" display. That's some fancy footwork. Lol!

I agree, some of the tiles could stand out as pieces of art. A single tile could be framed and hung. Absolutely stunning. Loved the various displays and history. I think I would have to choose the tile and then build the room around it.😉 Joerg cracked me up with his little impromptu dance. We don't usually see that side of Joerg. Really enjoyed this little adventure, Kirsten and Joerg! Those tiles are amazing and I would have such a hard time not buying a few for my home! Even a half dozen for a nice kitchen splash! Thank you for taking us along. The craftsmanship and beauty of these works of art aren't seen much these days. We do have several very old buildings (banks, grain exchanges, commerce, hotels) here that were built in the early to mid 1800's and some of them have the most gorgeous tile work which likely came from England! These building interiors (and exteriors too) are why so many period films are shot here in our city ...

Beautiful and fascinating. Joerg dancing and Kirstens "Muttley the Dog" laugh made my smile😊. I have (from my grandmother) a King George and Queen Mary Silver Jubilee tea cup from 1935. In the bottom are beautiful painted flowers. Made my appointment by the Paragon China Company in Stoke-on-Trent, now part of the Royal Doulton Group.
Another wonderful vlog. Thank you both 🙂.
Kirsten..an idea!.. I have special tiles I use as decor, but I also have some special tiles I put felt on the bottom (the sticky felt to put under furniture so it doesn't scratch wooden floors) and I use these tiles as coasters for my tea cups. Maybe you could do the same with one or two tiles you love 🙂. Then you only buy a few 🙂.

4:23 That peacock tile was my absolute favorite!! The whole outing looked wonderful. I also loved that you got to enter the giant kiln. Fantastic day!! Beautiful tiles, china and scenery 🥰

Thank you for contributing so much beauty & love on this Valentine’s Day! Your tile and china adventure was wonderful…and now you must celebrate your family of 100k subscribers! What an accomplishment, but it’s hardly surprising! Please have a lovely Valentine’s Day…do you have any of your spectacular Black Forest Gateau left? ❤️

Thanks so much! Oh I'm afraid we don't have any of the cake left as we baked it nearly 2 weeks ago.

Firstly, happy Valentine's day to my two favorite RUclipsrs, and congrats again on passing the 100k milestone! Did the tile museum have a gift shop, and did your visit cause you to start plotting how/where to add tile to your home? Loved to see Jörg dancing! Have a wonderful week! 💗💐🕺😄💕

Thank you so much Deborah - hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day too. It had a tiny tiny gift shop but nothing special really (sadly). Have the best week.

Absolutely stunning works of art! I loved the tiles so much. The butcher shop scene was probably my favorite. My family owned and operated a small Italian mom and pop grocery store for close to 100 years and my father was the butcher. Lovely video, thank you. 💜💜💜
