Mr cooper tanks for your time and your videos I’ll like all your reports congrats on your fishing adventure tanks for posting your videos have a great evening or night out there
kinda funny I used my SUwitch in the exact conditions u mentioned very little wind and shallow water and seemed to perform pretty well got 3 fish off it and lost 2 nothing crazy but def worked well for just first time using it. It seemed to do pretty well deflecting off rock and some wood as well which was surprising since I thought angle of bill wouldnt be good for it.
Thanks for that tip D. I will check that one out, it sounds like just what I'm looking for. I will add that after a year of using the Suwitch it has been a big producer for me. The adjustable bill is still working and I adjust it daily. Thanks for watching
Hi Steve, I have a question: I have the Mickey jr. and I want it on top as best I can. What do you recommend for leader material? I fish this on my Jerkbait rod, and 50lb braid with 2 feet of 17lb mono. Tell me your thoughts if you will...
Hi Lydia, try extending your leader to about 6 or 8 feet, slow the bait down and keep your rod tip high. Make sure you are using a good mono line like Maxima that floats. Some less expensive monos absorb water and can pull baits under so you may also try changing the brand of your line to see if it makes a defferance.
All the colors look good. My next one is the pro blue for a all round bait. I hope it is the same color it is in the add. It's not blue-it looks like a dull shad-split tail-shiner imatation. I would choose the one that you think most closely will represent the bait in your region. Good luck, let me know how you like it.
@@finoistimeless If you're fishing from a boat try pulling in tight to the bank, lots of bait in the river right now. Make sure you have polarized glasses.
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 I re-read my message and it makes sense for your response. Thank you btw, but I was asking where can I buy the SUWITCH... I was cracking up when I figured out what went wrong with my message
Hey Steve thank you for sharing information it seems like you are excited about this suwitch bait if you we’re only able to afford one or two which ones would you recommend purchasing. Thanks and a good holiday . Edit I should have looked at your revues before I posted that answered my question thanks
The FA Ghost or the pro blue are good all round colors. All the colore are really nice. I do like this bait and I think you will also like it. The bite slowed down on this bait when the water temp dropped below 60 but next summer I will have this bait on all the time. Good luck and let me know how you like it. Make sure to change out the hooks and split rings.
I am with you on clicking the bill, so far it has stayed solid. I will be picking up a couple more. If this bait keeps producing and the bill holds up this could turn into one of my favorite swimbaits. Let me know how you like the bait-and don't baby the bill.
Lol I’ve totally robbed hooks from other baits to upgrade a bait and it was also a R2S bait that I took the hooks from. I guess that saying something for R2S!
Thanks for the question 86. The SuWitch is easy to cast wirh a med .size rod and you can get some distance but it does not cast like a bomb. For the delta you should have no proplems. I have not fished the magic swimmer so I cannot make a compairson. I did some research on the bait and these are my thoughts.Paint-both are fine-I don't really care unless there purple and orange. The SW ican be fished a lot slower than the MS. The MS may have advantages if you're fishing for striper. The SW has much more side to side roll, can be fished on top with no motion and it's flutter as it rises from depth to the surface is much better. Durability, I need more time with the SW but for a striper bait I will look at the MS- it looks more durable. The price on the MS is much better. If you have fished the MS let me know how you like it. I really like the SW for LM and I hope it holds up-time will tell and I break one I will be vocal about it. Thanks again.
Two Trebles on the Biggie, The third hook on the tail is a #4 light wire hook. I am going to remove the tail hook and see what happens. Seems like all the fish are hooked on the 2 body hooks and the third hook just gets in the way. When the bigger fish bite it -they eat it.
Great bait, Steve. I found some online at Fisherman's Warehouse for those that are looking still. Didn't think that the straight braid made sense with those trebles, but the softer rod seems to make up for it and I don't have to worry about a backlash causing my leader to break and sending that $40 flying away! I like the way it looks in the water - seems to provide a smaller profile than it actually is. The wobble and paint scheme draws attention away from the overall frame of it. Looks a lot like the local baitfish flashing around. Fun to fish.
Hey Jerry, it's not magic but if you like to fish small size swimbaits, this one is a winner. P.S. I fish lot's of new baits and I might review 1 out of 10. The one I review is the one that I catch fish on.
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 No such thing as a '' killer bait ''. Lures are tools for speed and depth control to check the '' strike zone '' and they are ALL killers because they all will catch fish at one time or another.
@@jerrylanglois7892 I can't disagree with that, but there are some baits that seem to increase your odds. The bill on the SuWitch is a definite advantage when it comes to keeping your bait in the strike zone. I don't like paying $40 for a bait but maybe this one will can fill the bill for both a diving bait and a top water bait.

@@jerrylanglois7892 Look at the bill. It has 4 separate positions for 4 specific depths, so if your crank bait has a 4 position bill I guess you can say it's the same. very good video, helped me a lot, im selling these type of lures so I need to know a lot about them!
Very good bait-still catching fish on them.
Very interesting
Great review & thanks for sharing your tips. What color is that bait?
They have 10 colors. All look good. I like the pro blue. It's not blue, just a nice muted bait color.
Just for your information, I recently was at a store here in Ontario Canada that had the mikey still in stock 😊
Wow, do you remember the price and do you have info on how to contact the store?
What size hooks did you finally come with Thank you so much for your help
I used the hooks from a new R2S biggie squair bill. They seam to be about 2 sizes up from the original hooks.
