What a masterpiece. The cards, the calls, lighting, staging…so enjoyable. Love the call of Campy’s homer. Combined with the image of the card, it’s like being transported back in time. Thanks for the experience, Alex.
What a wonderful video Alex. This is such a beautiful set and I treasure the Musial you sent me. I didn't have my morning coffee with it but I did have my late afternoon coffee to sip and smile as I watched it. Thank you for once again taking me back in time to the game I love.
A Grand Slam, Alex. I know it must have been a labor of love to find, collect and edit all those classic radio calls, but I bet you had a blast doing it!! Really enjoyed the presentation. Thanks very much for your effort in creating this experience. Hall of Fame worthy. Well done.
You are correct - I was initially hesitant to go through with it because of the amount of work, but once I got started I had a lot of fun tracking down the games and calls. Found myself just enjoying some of the games; really helps make a stronger connection to these guys from the past. Thanks!
Just when I think your production, creativity and storytelling can't get any better......you take your videos to an entirely new level! Just wow! I really love the vintage radio announcers, and the array of Hall of Famers you share - each so wonderfully centered and with sharp images. Really impressive work here Alex. Thank you!
It's all just building on what's been done before! Little by little things change, evolve, get a little better. Appreciate you seeing the evolution and coming along for the ride! Thanks Chuck.
I wish I could go back in time to when things were simpler. To be able to work a normal job and still be able to support a family. Thanks for sharing this. Only wish it were longer.
Thanks man. I am in the market for a refurbished bluetooth radio, will be pumping some old games through it soon enough. Makes the old cardboard come alive! Great to hear the names in action.
Nice job Alex. The cards are great, of course, but the thought process on how to fill the frame and keep the eye interested is beyond compare. Makes me feel like I'm in your card room with a cup of java, looking over your collection. So well done!
Fantastic! you have a beautiful set. Thanks for putting those classic radio calls. It was good to hear Harry Carey since that was the voice I grew up with in St. Louis. Also surprised hearing Ken Boyer playing left field when Campanella hit his home run. Great presentation!
@@bowman53 I listened again and again. I loved hearing the different announcers and their old timey cadence. Red and Vin and Mel and Curt Gowdy. I thought one of them sounded like a pre-Mets Bob Murphy (he started w Red Sox in 54) but I wasn’t sure. A Russian nesting doll of awesomeness, Alex. Bravo.
Hey Alex, as always just so well done. You got me thinking of the hot summer days I would listen to a Yankees or Blue Jays game on the radio when I was working in the yard. The Blue Jays are the closest team to me. I also grew up hearing games on the radio as my grandfather tended to his yard. The generational impact of baseball. Now I am craving a glass of lemonade. Great job!
The radio is where it's at! I always listen to the Phillies on the radio, the broadcasters are better, and the words ignite the imagination. Appreciate the thought Terry!

I was hoping it felt that way! Thanks much Hugo.

You'll need to get over here one of these days, but this will do for now! Thanks Mike.

I wanted it to never ever end. What a masterful presentation.
I was initially worried that it went on a bit too long so that is great to hear! Thank you.
