I was also one of these children. I think everyone who commented including myself, let’s try to get together to bring awareness to congress! We can do something! ❤
I would love to be involved in sharing my story or insight. I have been through years of foster care and already messaged our oregon general like the article said.
"What about the kids who don’t have a responsibility…" you guys are only reporting on state agencies, what about foster parents who use kids for money? My foster mom took 90k from SSI in 2 years, while leaving me homeless & no one looks out for kids like me.

I was in foster care all my kid life I’m now 66 years old I was never told about mybenefits my mom died at my age of two! I need to know where I start to try to find out where my money went if I was to get it! When come out the system I was 16 and pregnant and got married!
Those stats at the end are incredible, great report. Federal dollars being properly distributed by states really came to light during COVID. Republican states have more problems it seems, like MS, WV, TX, AL and more. 💔

Absolutely, and more common than most realize. Thankfully, the Catholic Church Priest criminality has come to the surface after all these decades, maybe centuries. Many sports, like Gymnastics, facilitate or ignore such despicable and illegal behavior. As a preschool teacher, I tell parents, please try to have more than one adult in the same room with children. Hopefully cameras will make a difference. Perverted perpetratorsbare very sick and rarely change only to get worse. not about sex, rather about domination and power. Abuse and cruelty is something, I'm afraid, ExPresident has made almost acceptable for sociopaths like himself. Stay well💜🫶
@@jannichi6431 Thank you. I don't usually talk about this because it's embarrassing. When I was 16 I was sexually abused by an older guy. He was like a father figure to me and he took advantage of me while I was vulnerable and suffering from extreme anxiety.
This is why this issue is close to my heart. I don't want any other victim to feel the way I felt. 😢

The childless couple were 'pillars' of community, small business owners, bowlers, card players, didn't miss a Sunday. He actually passed out candy from his garage. One wise mother told other mothers not to allow their children over there. All the years came to light when a minor got pregnant and needed an abortion, with parental consent? She is doing well now and has been fully recognized for her bravery, Even now, 45 years later. Only two went to court, I think. Of course back then, minimal hardship on the perpetrator. The wife KNEW the whole time worked for the government and enabled the perversion in her own basement and meticulous garage!!!. Last I heard, 15 years ago still running his retail business, always in next town. This gets too deep for this format, but the pervert may have been a choirboy victim himself, so his definition of 'love"?❤️🩹🤪These sickos rarely stop, never change. The church has since closed, didn't keep up with the lawsuits? I'm guessing??
My last neighborhood's mother sent her daughters, for years, to the Houston Gymnastics Camp (Russian Couple Owned). I'm sure you saw the Olympian Gold Metal girls testify in Congressional Hearings about their official 'doctor'.
Good movie a few years ago with Ethan Hawk as Priest, (name?). Worth a view, if not too upsetting. Glad you can educate others and talk, while holding your privacy as needed. Therapy is the new cool trend for the wealthy and mental health is getting super funded today. Hope youngsters know to ask?! But bring a third party adult in the room if possible, even in therapy! Maybe Zooms and Facetime is the way!? not trusting anyone who goes out of their way to work with children alone, not the sports coach, music teacher or any volunteer. Wish every classroom had an Assistant, better teaching in groups of 5-10 students too! Vouchers to Private schools would increase the molestation problem, in my opinion. Exactly ! A lot of channels turn off comments regardless of gender. Not for addicts or anyone else but protect people like that woman. I'm surprised she has custody of 2 children!
