My nickname growing up was "parallel parker" because most everyone would make me switch driver seats with them so I could whip it in like a pro. True story.
Thanks for the port tour! Nassau was one of our stops on our last cruise. It happened to be the week after they opened the new port, so I was excited about exploring it after our snorkeling excursion. But then calamity struck and I fell as I was jumping off the snorkeling boat and hurt my knee really bad. I was hurting too bad after the excursion to be able to walk any further than just back to the ship, so no port tour. It took months for me to walk without a limp, and I still have a weird bruise on my shin 8 months later. Maybe I need to stay away from snorkeling excursions next time and just explore the port! 😂
Yep, learned about that Deck 3 cutout on the Mainer. Our cabin was so close to the elevators and the MDR. But we would have to go up to deck 5 cross thru the Promenade back to the other end and down 1 deck to get to MDR. Mostly thanks to Studio B.
That Dole Whip at the Nassau Port is the BEST I have ever had. Better than Disney. Granted, I haven't had it in Hawaii like you both have. Also, it was really hot out so that didn't hurt either :).
Did you see if they have the courtesy "shuttles"? We used it when the port was under construction for my husband who is mobility challenged. He's not in a wheelchair/scooter etc just uses a cane at times.
You ever need your car parallel parked, and if I'm around. I'll get you in. Impressed my husband because not only did I parallel park his 2015 Challenger BUT I did it on a downward slope. He forgot I can also parallel park a full size pickup truck. I don't play. I can do it in a stick shift too. Just need to take a minute to get back in the grove for the stick shift driving.
This trip involved a lot of international flights, and we did carry-on only, so there wasn't room for extra socks, hah. Our upcoming trip is a road trip again, and we can use the car as a rolling closet in between cruises for swap outs, so the socks shall return!! :P
There wasn't enough room to pack that many days worth of socks into our carry-ons for flying sadly, since this trip was 35 days in total, hah... but they'll be back for any future driving trips that we have!! :P
I just got off the ship a week ago and it was so run down and overcrowded and the whole thing was a mess. Both elevators did not work on both ends it was very dangerous I do not recommend this ship to anyone
Dee I watched an older video of you and you can see great results!
We've been trying to work in a healthier overall lifestyle since about the middle of 2023... whew! Thankee!! :D
I totally agree!!! Dee and Jay are inspirational ❤️
Basically it seems every port is just shopping unless you go miles from the port?
Dee your voice is so calming...I so wish you would do more commentary on these vlogs!!! No disrespect to Jay but Dee is so cute and bubbly
Good morning, just got off Odyssey of the Seas after two weeks, great ship, loved it!
Was in Nassau earlier this month and they had a big company appreciation event at the amphitheater, it looked really fun.
The junkano musuim was pretty cool.we went to it when we were in Nassau last year.
Thanks for your video we loved it!❤️⚓️🦩🛳️🥰

Nice to see the updated port! It's been awhile since we were in Nassau.
Very interesting video. The new terminal is great, and just enough if you have been to Nassau multiple times.
Nice to hear Dee's voice to start and just listened to a video from Lida Loca where Jenny did the intro.
Ok, seals have ear holes and you have to “seal them up” to swim. Sea lions have two words and therefore two ear flaps. Only way I remember it
Ooooh, maybe we can remember that one. Thankee!! :D
Love the videos trying to see what cruise ship we want to cruise on it will be our first time going
Nice improvement from the old Nassau!

Heading to Nassau soon. Looking forward to checking out the new port. Take care!

Johnny Rocket's Breakfast is only on Oasis class ships... Great video, thanks for all the info! Going on Odyssey of the Seas Jan 28! Enjoy Icon!

Thanks will have to checkout this new area in few weeks.
Reminds me of a bigger Turks Port 🙂

Do you know if Jordan Bauth (@jbauth) was part of the ice show cast on your sailing?
Not aware of her being in the Freedom cast that we saw, but she was on our Adventure sailing back in 2021!! :D
What dates were you on this ship? We were on Nov 27th- Dec 1st.
Same! We always put the dates in the upper left corner at the start of each video, as well as in the description!! :D
Hey guys love your channel, but was wondering why jay doesn’t wear wild socks anymore

I miss the fancy socks with characters etc.
