As someone who has watched this movie many times, I always found it funny that Hades, as an immortal, is more inconvenienced by lava and ice, elements that could, you know, end the lives of humans and animals. To him, the molten lava is closer to a disgusting slime, and the ice comically immobilizes him for a few seconds.

There actually is a Hercules remake in production at Disney. The only thing we know is that the Russo brothers are producing.
It has enormous potential to be a great movie, but given Disney's current tread of emasculating and humiliating male heroes in favor of their female counterparts, I don't have any faith that it'll be any good in current year.
Let me guess, you want Zack Snyder to direct it too?

Zack Snyder is already experienced with superheroes, epic action and ancient Greek myth, so this should be a walk in the park for him.
He's never done musicals before, so I am immensely curious about how well he can handle that.

All the gods and zeus were beaten in mere moments. Hades is about to party. And hercules cuts a chain in one spot that frees all the other gods, sticks his hands into rocks and frees his dad in minutes. The said dad despite being out of bolts then has bolts and rapid fires them. And hades is beaten in mere moments.
And we give the empire crap about the death star
Why was saving his fathers life not enough to earn him godhood but saving megs was?
He was willing to give his life to save Meg’s, an act of a true hero.
As Zeus said at the end, a true hero is measured not by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart.
So, in a way, a true hero is measured by the size of his heart's strength x)

Since this movie I've had an itch for an animated all out war/battle between gods and titans. But I've yet to find anything that meets my expectations.
God of war's scenes were too short and didn't really show that much of their battle.
