49:20 I think you’ve missed a few other Henchmen with wild keyword choices. There are three ways to play Puppets in Neverborn as you mentioned (one of which also gets to bring Qi and Gong into Neverborn), but there are also more keyword unlocks in Outcasts! Barbaros allows for a wild mix of Returned and Nephilim, including putting Soldier for Hire on Mature/Cavern Nephilim, and both keywords get some great help from Yannic Walker’s Democratic Elections. Yannic herself also allows for Outcasts to run Syndicate models, including some fun healing interactions with Surveyors and Cayce Jones (as well as some other lists that would probably be more effective). Beyond them, there are a couple of others outside of Outcasts. Every faction but Explorers also gets a little bit of this cross-faction action with Crossroads Seven. Lastly, Sparks LeBlanc gets to bring Foundry into the Bayou fold. Incredibly excited for Dr. Silas, and so pleased with Wyrd to give the old M2E starter box crowd some loving care and story advancement. Can’t wait to see you put him on the table, and excited to put him next to Barbaros to do Black Blood shenanigans myself. Also, if I’ve missed any Henchmen that get a completely out-of-faction keyword in that list, I’d love to know!
I appreciate that you put out these videos. I can't agree with the takes in this one. How is Vee even comparable to unnerfed Frodsham in terms of power level? Frodsham did generate a Pass Token, did pushes and handed out Focus trivially. Gather Intel is nice, but if you wanted to have free movement on Leveticus, you could always have used toss from an Ancient Construct. Herbert you rate as C to B, a model that has strong defensive stats, a stat 6 attack and is close to being 3 AP with Onward!. Time will prove you wrong, on a lot of these takes.
I love your videos but you have to do something about the different audio levels. It is a simple 5 min fix in post of your editing program. Easy to make sure all your audios are level. In this video Rich audio is really low while Brandon and Doug is high.
I just played a game with Parker and Ella Mae . . . She's a monster. Tons of scoring potential, taxiing Mad Dog around, and pretty tanky on top of all that. I like her.
Im a fae creature by nature, but i do get to attach bayou upgrades. I guess that means in keyword swamp feinds? Id like to think im at least Zoraida's henchman.
Does anyone know what's happening with the models? They're mostly sold out everywhere. I'm looking to get into Malifaux but then when you can't even buy a crew, what's the point?
You can buy most of the range on Amazon and ship it to yourself. Or even just order it online from Wyrd. Stock from those 2x spots is very consistent. It will depend on the LGS if they carry this game or not ... mostly based on if the owner thinks they can build a scene for it.
