Man, those sleeves (look and sound) were killing me the whole video! Thanks for the cohesive and knowledgeable explanation 👏 One of the better videos I’ve seen on this.
The turn mechanic, which is not common in most tcg, is actually very similar to Genius Invokation TCG which is a tcg inside the game Genshin Impact, in which turns are called rounds and both players act alternatively. The only difference is, in GITCG, there are two types of action, fast action and combat action. When you do a fast action, you can still act again but when you do a combat action, the turn is passed to opponent. Anyway great video and the game is pretty interesting.
I’ll keep playing the good ccg by decipher and skip this thing. Those cards are fantastic in design and feel to the movies. And the mechanics are amazing
the only problem is finding players. swccg is awesome from what I remember but it’s been over 20 yrs since I’ve played. I don’t want to play jaded decipher ppl who’ve been playing for years or on gemp.
So basically its the same thing as Star Wars LCG except ground units and space units can't attack eachother which seemed to be a common complaint even though it really wasn't that big of a deal.
The unique symbol on the card explain in 16:51 mean that I can’t have any other with the symbol on the field or I can’t have any other with the same name on the field?
So for the base Tarkintown, it has an Epic Action, but i do not see a cost listed. Is it free? I understand it's once per game but how can I activate it?
can I attach a character my opponent just played? Can I attack characters regardless of the attack target being exhausted or not? Can I skip my turn, then the opponent claims the initiative, then I get to still play actions as much as I can?
If only it didn’t use the , “turn two cards from hand face down as your resource” system i might actually try it . These mana systems just aren’t for me. Reason why they say “don’t re-invent the wheel” .

Great video. I shared it with our local community.
Great job! Very clear, thanks from Genoa, Italy.
This game looks interesting. I might give it a go if I get the opportunity at my LGS.
Good video, you might do a video about deck building rules. Besides what you covered about card duplicates.
Possibly!
Well done teach. Thanks!
Perfect. Thanks
Thank you for the run down.

I’m gonna give this game a shot.
@@brianholmes6392the Star Wars players committee is a non for profit that still makes sets for the decipher game fyi
@@brianholmes6392I actually played some games since my OP and it IS a fun game . Try it
You’re missing out. All im gonna say. To each their own though.

No it’s different than that mess of a game

Same name.
@@battlegroundsgamecenter thank you very much 😁
when you put a card into your resource... can you recover that card? for instance, could you get the emperor back??
There are some cards that will allow you to do this.
So for the base Tarkintown, it has an Epic Action, but i do not see a cost listed. Is it free? I understand it's once per game but how can I activate it?
Yeah the cost is free and it just takes up your turn and whatever effect that is listed happens
can I attach a character my opponent just played? Can I attack characters regardless of the attack target being exhausted or not? Can I skip my turn, then the opponent claims the initiative, then I get to still play actions as much as I can?
Yes. Yes and if you pass, then the other player takes the initiative, they are also considered to have passed, so the round ends.

Have you played the original Star Wars ccg that was by decipher? It’s incredible and still made by a non profit
Can I put a resource back into my deck?
I have not looked at any of the set cards except for the starter, so I’m not sure if there is a way to do that.
I pulled a card(Lando) in prerelease that let me put 2 resources back into hand.
