Almost ALL hydrostatic and hydraulic drives have a sweet spot so they won’t move , easy adjustment ! Looks like an electric drive side by side you pulled out of your truck , nice , I’ve been looking for one with the purpose of hunting !
Oh yeah, its real "fun" starting Diesels in the cold. When it crawls well below 0 Celsius and your batter is newer fully charged it can take a while. Thankfully i got a block heater (the smal electric ones you mount direct in the block, like on cars)in my tractor (a MF 3060), and let it on for an hour or so. you can get the darn Diesel to spin up "easy" even when its -10C to -15C or lower even with half a battery. Any colder, forget it unless battery is good, and you might want a heat gun ready. :D
Glad to see it run and move. Sounds complicated to get it ready for action, and you neglected to show the fans how graceful you climb in. My entrance ends with me targeting the seat for my backside and I drop and hope, every time. I don't want to spoil a future vid, but what brand of machine were you unloading? The tire tread was the same on a Kawi Mule but the wheels were wrong. Let me know the tire size if it's going to be a runner, or is it a long term monster project? My day started with the search for a runaway mini horse but after a hearty meal and a quiet ride around the property till dark, all is well in Chenango County.
This is actually a machine if you spent a bit of money on would actually be very beneficial to the hoard. Would go well with a set of forks on the front
