I stanned Taemin the artist almost immediately, but it took me a lot longer to stan Taemin the person. I couldn’t reconcile the gap between his on-stage and off-stage personas. It wasn’t until I started watching SHINee content and realised “oh, he’s just their weird baby brother who they can’t help spoiling” that I got it 😂
Taemin is ART. He is the greatest artist I have seen. Got hooked the moment I heard his voice. He is a superb vocalist, but it is his divine tone and the way he emotes and makes the song come alive that does it for me. On sad songs, he makes me cry. On happy songs, he puts a smile no... a total grin on my face. And he is so lovable. His smile is the best antidepressant I know. I have never stanned anyone like this. And his dancing is hypnotic. I can watch iom forever ❤❤❤❤
Taemin is indeed a creative and complex artist. I love both his voice and his dance. Offstage he is also charming, funny and thoughtful. However, I think it’s sad that some people confuse his onstage persona with who he really is as a person (we as observers, even if we are fans can never fully know him). I am glad he has his Shinee members and friends to support him when he goes through difficult times (as he did during his military service). I hope he continues to grow as a beautiful human surrounded with love and kindness.

There's so much amazing content of his that came out before 2020. While I was watching these clips I was thinking about all the things that weren't here and I was wondering if you had seen them. He was the first artist from a group to debut as a solo under SM, and was only 21 years old at the time. He looks so polished and mature in the Want and Danger eras. That's what got me on the Taeminie wagon. I hope you will delve into those as well. And then of course Move brought us Taemin and his girl group which is just a superior concept. Anyway, thank you for supporting our boy.

It's from a compilation video from SM or SHINee's YT channels. I think it was released right before Taemin enlisted. Can't remember the name of the video, though.
