The radio receivers built around those metal-cased tubes are real works of art. One in particular, the E.52b2, is considered to be decades ahead of its time in terms of performance.
The Köln receiver. Yes. I have sold many Wehrmacht-Geräte for a customer. I am not interested in politics or ideologics, but old electronics are exciting.
Such beautiful high quality tubes, they are history of technology of small time window. Think of the very smart and skilled people inventing and building tubes in such short time, amazing.
Excellent stuff there! So glad it didn't end up in the landfill. That would have been a shame! Some really nice tubes, for sure. Thanks for sharing Max.
Hi Paul. You are welcome! I was so happy when I saw the tubes today. I think I've picked everything up in summer 2019. Took me a year to open it up. The rest of the stuff was removed the very next day. They had to clear the house.
@@MaxKoschuh I must say, after reading the other comments and realising they have nazi symbolism, I regret describing the small tubes as cute. Very interesting to see this stuff, but also very sad. Thanks for sharing nonetheless
Always happy to see you commenting on my channel. You are welcome, as you know :-) The newspaper was from 1964. The time capsule is approx 55 years old.

Lucky you.!!!
10:07 In Dutch: "Wie het kleine niet eert, is het grote niet weert." Translates roughly to "He who doesn't honor the small, isn't worthy the big" 😀
"Wer den Pfennig nicht ehrt, ist den Taler nicht wert", in german :-)
You are welcome, Merijn !!
Big tubes and some cute baby tubes! Nice finds :D
Hi Aaron. Thank you :-)

Yes they are transmitting tubes, and such things are getting quite expensive, especially older types like those.
I won't get rich, but I was so happy when I saw the tubes
@@MaxKoschuh of course not, but still very good finds.
The company Arlt Elektronik in Düsseldorf went off the air only in 2019...
It's a tragic if companies fail.. :-(
Something different: I saw your comment on Curious Marc's Channel the other day :-)
Max, do you have any BFR65's?
