I never expected 2v8 to be this good.

    I feel alone on this, i'm 100% bored of this mode already, my only reason left to queue is fomo and the 400% bloodpoints on survivor if i'm honest...
    I'm bored of it in either side. It's brainless, it's way too easy to escape as survivor, i never feel in danger at all, and as killer almost any strategy or knowledge is gone off the window too, it's a game of " whack-a-mole the teabager gremlins".
    But i realize that it's a good business decission, games for a while have capitalized on being as "inclusive" as posible. And i get why. If a new player loads up ob the free weekend, they can make a hundred mistakes on 2v8 yet not die instantly, or they'll even escape carried by their team.
    If they load on 1v4, their personal decissions, choices and skill come into focus and it becomes an unfriendly experience. It's way less probable that person will stay and pay for skins.
    But really, 2v8 is a very brainless experience, straight to the "action" with no thought, and an insane amount of wiggle room, so no stakes.
    Chases are absolutely pointless in 2v8 aswell, and that's the aspect of the game most like to praise. If you suck at loopin, no problem you don't need to in this mode. And if the killer tries and outplay shack or main building, they lost instantly lol, since it takes just as long as in the regular game, but you have 7 more gremlins doing less gens per head.
    As survivors, just press w and go to the next gen, as killer, either kill a baby out of place in 10 seconds or less, or drop it entirely, go for a sanwich with your buddy or find another extra fast down or you are wasting time. It leaves zero room for mindgames, or the mechanics of loops/anti loops.
    And without perks it also becomes absolutely mindless. Zero variety (and it's funny because people already complained about the percieved lack of variety among perks, but this mode straight up kills any. Pick escapist, stick to a gen, see the killer, run, do a gen, have it back in 20 seconds, rinse and repeat. Pair those 4 escapist with wathever else and it's done).
    I want my builds back honestly. In that regard, shuffle mode felt better and more sustainable
    Not to mention, i doubt the bhvr servers were prepared for this and clearly the priority is on 2v8, i saw some crazy rubberbanding/teleporting in normal matches affecting both me and other players

    It’s fun as killer but not that fun as survivor. I am pretty bored already and can’t wait for everyone to play 4 vs 1 again. Even though a lot of perks are either broken or useless, perks really make this game. Without them every match feels the same. Either your team does the gens fast enough before 2-3 survivors are dead or the killers win. It’s even more of a M1 simulator than 4 vs 1 (which was sth ppl always complain about). Nobody picking himself up with Unbreakable before tanking a hit with Soul Guard and unhooking a team mate. No Blood Warden you haven’t seen in ages that surprises you all of sudden. Haven’t seen one long ish chase by anyone yet. Killer abandons chase early, you get sandwiched by both killers and can’t do anything or your team mates block a loop. Chases are short and feel boring.

    I have no problem giving bhvr their props when they do something right. They *cooked* with 2v8.
