You are most underrated roll20 script teacher. Very good method, voice ect. Keep doing this. Subscribers will come for sure.

Cool video as always. I don’t use all of the stuff you show but it’s always cool. I also recommend joining his Patreon. I asked for a specific video and Nick was kind enough to make one for me. Such a great resource to have. Thanks Nick

I wonder if you can make the explosion directional from the originating token, so it could be used for thundwave

    Hi Nick,
I must have missed this the first time I went through your back catalogue.
This is great stuff, and I have a great use for it... IF I can figure out how to specify tokens with a certain entry in the GM notes.
I don't play 5E so the "Monster Types" in my game are basically set by me, by hand via the GM Notes section on the tokens.
So, if one of my players uses a "Repel Undead" power, I could use something like this to check for "Undead" in the GM Notes, (in the same way one would use the "Radar" MOD) and only Kaboom tokens that met that criteria.
Any advice on how I would go about doing that? Is there an option that I could build into a template/macro to select a variable in that way?
There is no way I would be able to start taking apart the JS in the API and rewrite it myself.
Just wonder if it's doable through the chat/macro functions?

Hi Andrew - I'm sorry, but I'm not sure of a way to do that without writing custom code.

Thats awesome. Can it do single line pushback for like the Eldritch Blast spell/warlock trait in D&D 5E where it pushes its (single) target back 10 ft.

Unfortunately it can't affect just a single target, so this wouldn't be a good fit for Repelling Blast.

what macro are you using to get the drop down beam menu?

I would love to know what macros you use. you always seem to have different macros on your videos that look super nice to have.

@@Tblakley29 No macro for that one, it's just the FX bar.

@@NickOlivo im really sorry to bug you but how do you get that on your token macro bar? I have learned how to cut and paste stuff into Roll 20 but coding is not something I know. sorry if this is a bit "n00b"

@@NickOlivo This is incredible. I'm trying to combine this script with the Group Check script from one of your other videos to create with an awesome Thunder wave Macro but I'm having issues getting it to work cause I can't figure out how to exclude My Character token so he doesn't take damage. Any and all help would be appreciated. .
