White House Press Secretary cuts off Joe Biden during media conference

- It seems the job of Joe Biden’s Press Secretary is not only to “shut up journos” but to silence the President as well following his rambling in a speech while in Vietnam, says Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“Joe Biden seems to check himself for using the term ‘third world’, then he can’t think of a more appropriate term, then he tries the phrase, ‘Southern Hemisphere’,” Mr Kenny said.
“Remember, he’s reflecting on talks in India with China and he’s speaking in Vietnam - and he’s on about the Southern Hemisphere."
Mr Kenny said the President’s own Press Secretary then called an end to the media conference.
“Wow, normally the press secretary is calling an end to a press conference to shut up the journos - it seems her job now is to silence someone else.”
It was amusing 2 years ago. Now it's terrifying. I pray our nation can survive this incompetence and corruption.

In the 1949 film 'She wore a yellow ribbon', starring Wayne, there's a phrase 'Dog faced Soldier' used. But not the word 'Lying' at the front end of that or the word 'Pony'. Biden is mixing lines from different movies and describing the scene incorrectly.

The real problem is that Biden seems to have no mental or cognitive filter to control what inane talk comes out of his mouth. I can't imagine there isn't some person on his staff who can go to Biden and tell him to stop saying and doing things that are really problematic; like the "lying dog faced pony soldier" story, or trying to use his kitchen fire story to compare with residents of Maui who have lost everything and family members, or nibbling on a baby's face, or commenting on the cute little girls in the audience, etc.
Either someone has tried to talk with him about it, and he forgets or deliberately ignores their advise, or his White House staff is too afraid and scared to confront him. The latter is probably true. Biden's always tried to put on a kindly "lunchbox Joe from Scranton" fake persona, but there have been plenty of reports that in private he's a mean, nasty, arrogant bully.

Not all people are western movie fans and familiar with that genre. No harm explaining what was wrong with Biden's movie quote and the incorrect details of which movie and the scene.
