You're an example for many. I just discovered your channel. And honestly it's because of MW. But I'm happy I found your channel anyway. Because I know for a fact that I can learn a lot from you. Watching videos like these give me motivation to learn and become better at whatever I do. I want to learn, trying to understand things better. Not just for combat but everything in general. So thanks for that. I subscribed as it is the least I can do in return.
Ronin Tactics Inc just wanted to say I watch your courses and I live in London. I particularly like the martial arts and fitness videos and your professionalism is outstanding.
@@ronintacticsinc I usually post in the comments, rarely talking to the actual person in video, let alone a green beret. I was Navy for like a month(July 18 2011-August 18 2011). Pigment Syndrome had me medically discharged. Went in as a E3 in paper, medically separated in a month. RDCs DID NOT want me to go. I didn't want to. Wanted to finish my mission. Since I been back a civilian, I'm still picking up the pieces. Since I saw your character in Warzone, the real person (you) is much cooler. Thank you for your service, and being understanding.
That energy deflecting drill by moving off the center line of an incoming threat is probably one of the most crucial foundation concepts in self defense, really well explained and demonstrated. Thank you Tu.
I definitely want to train with Ronin. How much are classes and where the hell do you sign up? Love that he's no nonsense and straight to the point, very informative and clear, and obviously knows what the hell he's talking about. He's clearly a very good teacher. I'd like to think I'm fairly proficient with most firearms, but I know there's still *tons* of stuff to learn from an operator like Ronin. Teach me the ways, man. Teach me the ways.
yeah totally not being an green beret that survived 27 countrys, watching his buddies die right infront of him and prolly got fucked up a few times himself, but he pulled threw and now he trains people that are going out to do what he did. BUT yeah i bet he thinks hes badass cuz hes in CoD
I read in a tactical life magazine interview that you practice mindfulness, which is great. A lot of folks will train everything to the max except their mind. The mind is the most important component.
Ronin -- you're an amazing American. I love that you're keeping JKD alive and well through your experiences in combat at the highest level. Thank you for your extraordinary service to our great country and for sharing your knowledge with the citizenry. I'm often concerned that the time may soon come for us to have to defend our country from within our own borders. But I sleep better at night these days knowing that someone like you is a proud patriot. God bless.
Nathaniel Hayslett He’s green beret. They can talk but usually only after they leave the military. Hell Seals make jokes about it now cause so many of them are writing books.
Perfectly Balanced i thought he was delta for some reason because i never did much research on which exactly, but i know seals and berets will. Does he put any stories out?
renobLE vg might not be his thing but it would be cool if someone did a punisher inspired short film (like those old BMW videos with the British guy Clive Owen) but have Ronin in them. That would be cool.
Definitely buying your operator skin in MW when it comes out. Bonus is that your character actually has a hip holster and not a shitty drop leg one like most of the operators do lol
I came here because of MW and I started watching your videos and I like the fact that a person could learn a lot from your videos just by the way you explain yourself even if they aren’t physically there in your class I recently bought a Gen4 Glock 19 and have been practicing the things you’ve taught in these videos and my accuracy and speed has improved since thank you Ronin 🤘🏽
He looks friendly and likable. To me, that is a huge thing. First impressions are most of the times the only thing you see in a person and I don't want to know people that to me don't look likable and friendly. Especially when he teaches me martial arts.
Tu you are the real deal man and how I wish I could spend a few years or more training with you...... its not often someone like you comes along and puts info like this out and trains like you do! The way you mix it all up and make yourself look inside is genius..... thanks for the videos and I look forward to the next!!
John is good but Tu is in another league entirely! Stay here and learn all that you can! Don’t try to be entertained by your favourite performers. This teaching here is on another level
I love these videos and the teachings. I would like to give only one constructive piece as a person whose career involves a microphone attached to me often...the audio quality of this video was tough at times, even with volume to the max. Again, just feedback. Thanks for these lessons.
You'd want to be a special kind of crazy to know who this man is and yet still want to take him on😂. Happy to see him honored in Modern Warfare as an Operator! That's a classy move on their part!
Great video Tu! A lot of people underestimate doing energy drills like iron forearm and palm. It makes all the difference when parrying and blocking out and once you add weight shifting to the mix shit gets real...real quick.
Thank you for showing your respect and still acknowledging the Master and Brandon. I was in Wilmington when Brandon passed away. A family friend was doing the face paint and makeup for the actors in The Crow.
I'm not experienced in those arts, but knowing or wondering what passes through a specialist mind through those situations, heavy, thrilling situations, it's something just true and somehow cinic, but real. It's like a science every breath and move 's got a precise cause and a relevant consequence
Thank you Tu for all your knowledge, inspiration and guidance. I too am looking to build a company similar to yours to share and empower those who wish to learn tactics and martial arts. Any advice and direction you have and would like to share who be greatly appreciated. Again thank you!
Learned everything I know about guns and built my gun after Tu, I even made his gun in cod months ago and bought raines tactical skin which is the closest resemblance to tu. So stoked he's in the game now!
Dude it’s so awesome that they made a Modern Warfare character after you it’s amazing and I love your videos dude keep them coming I think they are absolutely stunning
I came here to see the new Operator on S3 of MW.... I ended up listening and being in awe. As a martial artist myself I didnt have his experience of real "combat" and "war", different mindset is really mind blowing and ended up a tonne of things in manner of 21 minutes.
Hey Ronin, seems your channel has hit it BIG. COD: Modern Warfare has you in it. Today I actually played as you and you have some pretty sweet moves. You are probably well aware due to face scans and all and this might not be something you saw in your future, this is definitely an unexpected accomplishment.
I love the wisdom Tu has offered . It brings balance to how to view these applications on every day life . Thank you for what you share and your journey that has brought light . Side note : The pic of Tu Lam looks like “data” from “the goonies” all grown up
Hey bro. Ronin, Congratulations for making it onto Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 3. I'll be getting your operator skin, coz I'm so proud that a Masculine Asian American is getting on the mainstream.
Watching Tu’ videos over and over as I've discovered and learning new things every freaking time watching his videos. Thank you Anh Tu’. I’m so very proud with what you are doing brother
I'm glad to see that your in modern warfare season 3 operator and I'm greatly appreciated that I can become an operator like you in the game. thank you
great video Tu but you honestly have to get the audio squared away. Very distracting and hard to hear sometimes between the white noise and the volume cutting in and out. Thanks for all that you do and keep up the great work
Not sure if you know this but I saw your picture on the new COD Modern Warfare - Season 3? Love your videos btw, great advice on life and how to be mentally strong. Thank you for your service sir.
Learned this very technique a few years back. I was amazed how something so simple could represent such a solid foundation. This can be easily be practiced at home with a rice bag trainer. Thanks for the video amazing info as always!
I used to train karate for street fights, then mma, and now all of it including sop tactics it’s all needed to win every circumstance can’t nearly focus on one itself but balance between all depending on your environment and skill limit.
I have practiced kyokushin but after looking at this presentation i realized that road or street combat is a very vast now i dont know if it works but i wish to see this in actual combat someday
I’m simply commenting on here because Modern Warfare season 3 is coming out and realized Ronin is a playable character. BIG COME UP!
PLEASE let him be a playable character.
Garrett Henry I’m pretty sure he is
Aaron Apolinario he is, his name will be “Ronin”
Same here I was sure that guy look like this guy
So pumped about it. I saw him on the ad and lost it. I can now be "Ronin" while smacking noobs and pretending I'm still in the military. 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼🇺🇸
do my eyes deceive me or is Ronin on the cover page for MW Season 3?
Thought the same lol definitely going to get him if that's the case
Thank god. I thought it was just me. If he's a playable operator, I am picking him up first.
The hat , the plate , the facial looks, it has to be 🔥🔥
daniel Hernandez it is guys.
Name is Tu Lam
The only character I’m willing to buy in Call of Duty.
me too lol
Him and Alex
(And mara)
Casper shitty self promoting
Him and ghost
Thats cool that Modern Warfare is making real soldiers, "Operators" 👍👍💯
Yeah it is. It's a great thing to see em fully embrace the REAL people that they simulate.
Hope to see the spooner brothers on there too
I knew this guy looked familiar!
I hope they will add chris kyle in the next season
Just got it for my son and i

The Way of Ronin is an excellent book by Tu Lam. Highly recommend. Great read with so much amazing wisdom.
That energy deflecting drill by moving off the center line of an incoming threat is probably one of the most crucial foundation concepts in self defense, really well explained and demonstrated. Thank you Tu.
Tu is by far one of the most intelligent instructors I have seen. I can't wait to go to one of his seminars.
Who came here because of the mw season 3 announcement
This guy
Nope I'm here to learn but it did come as a big surprise when I saw him in the trailer I was like holy shit it's ronin
lol,I'm looking forwards to Alex though
@@hamschh this guy needs a medal
OOF O O F who’s here before the Modern warfare endorsement

Daniel Hanson no need for that
y u so toxic it’s just a joke chill lol
Bruh K not being toxic at all. I mean there was no need to say all that stuff.
I watched Ronin before he appeared in MW. To see him on the cover for the new season was quite a surprise, but a welcome one.
"A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one" lol Palpatine
You and everyone else commenting about him being in a video game makes me not believe you.

A highly knowledgeable, wise, skilled & experienced teacher. A master. Thank you Tu Sifu.

Would love to see a podcast made by Tu Lam, filled with his wisdom and knowledge. Thank you for your work!
He needs to write a book about his military life
Guys like him, if he was in delta or an attachment, probably cant talk at all about what they’ve experienced
I don't think he can he works Special Operations Delta
@Austin Knowles I'm pretty sure he was just a green beret that embedded with Delta a lot
This dude has the skillset to become a real life batman
All he needs is the equipment
This dude will kill Batman with a pen, rock or even a spoon!
More like a punisher, since his style is to kill them as efficiently as possible
renobLE vg might not be his thing but it would be cool if someone did a punisher inspired short film (like those old BMW videos with the British guy Clive Owen) but have Ronin in them. That would be cool.
H3N no
Immediately recognized you on modern warfare. I was like, oh sh*t that’s a legit operator.
Tu Lam has incorporated so many styles of fighting and is just so incredible.
Definitely buying your operator skin in MW when it comes out. Bonus is that your character actually has a hip holster and not a shitty drop leg one like most of the operators do lol
