I was at both races Saturday and Sunday and there was more people there for the Busch race than the Cup race on Sunday..Goodwrench had a give away weeks before this race and gave out free tickets for oil changes and over printed tickets and no joke they only had standing room Saturday....It was sold out plus all the people standing was something else for sure.. Again I was there and never seen anything like it..
Born & raised two miles from the Rock. As kids my brother and I would jump the fences and sneak in. Later my dad ran a concession stand so we didn’t have to sneak in anymore. Sad but it will eventually end up like N.Wilksboro.
Back when NASCAR actually mattered.

And one sad thing is both those tracks were pretty different and unique, a trait that is sorely missed nowadays with all the 1.5-milers.
That Jeff Gordon's moustache...
