Een situatie die van jou vraagt persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen te gebruiken, is zelden gevaarlijk voor slechts één deel van je lichaam. Dat betekent dat je meerdere vormen van PBM zult moeten combineren. Maar dat is zo'n gedoe, je stofmasker zorgt ervoor dat je beschermende bril beslaat, en je bril duwt 't masker van z'n plaats... Als je PBM niet met elkaar samengaat, dan worden situaties eerder gevaarlijker dan veiliger. Zeker als je ook nog een corrigerende bril draagt. Gelukkig is er nu dan eindelijk een oplossing, in de vorm van de Univet 6X3! Deze ruimzichtbril kan op een comfortabele manier worden samengevoegd met elk stof- en halfgelaatsmasker. Does it protect against tear gas?
Hey Weta, good question! As far as we know, there is no standardization for protection against tear gas. We would however recommend taking the safe route, and use one of these full face mask instead of just goggles: stofmasker-shop.nl/volgelaatmaskers.html

@@WetaMantis In that case it's a bit more complicated, as the face masks don't fit well with prescription glasses. The only solution we can think of in this case are these airtight goggles from Bollé, which you can wear together with your own glasses: veiligheidsbrillen-shop.nl/bolle-blast-luchtdicht.html. You'd be lacking the respitory protection with these however.
@@CoolSafety Thanks for your replies. The Bollé Blast has no vents and offers level 5 better protection against particulates and gas but the the 6x3 is made for wearing with a respirator and has rubber.
@@CoolSafety I'm hesitant, does the Bollé Blast fit well with half face respirators?

Uma situação que exige o uso de equipamentos de proteção individual raramente é perigosa para apenas uma parte do corpo. Isso significa que você terá que combinar várias formas de EPI. Mas isso é um incômodo, sua máscara de poeira faz com que seus óculos fiquem embaçados e seus óculos empurram a máscara para fora do lugar... Se o seu EPI não se mistura, as situações se tornam mais perigosas do que seguras. Especialmente se você também usa óculos corretivos. Felizmente, finalmente existe uma solução, na forma do Univet 6X3! Esses óculos podem ser combinados confortavelmente com qualquer poeira e meia máscara. Adeus problemas, olá segurança!

, good question! Protective goggles for airsoft need to have the STANAG 4296
standardization. This one doesn't meet that requirement, and therefor we don't recommend you using them for it. We do have a pair of glasses with this standardization, but it's a bit more expensive: veiligheidsbrillen-shop.nl/boll-fury-kit.html
