The great thing about White Collar is that you get both sides of the story. If there's a heist, you're gonna get the detective side AND simultaneously the criminal side. It's ideal.
White Collar is up there as one of my all time favourite shows. I loved how it touched a little on history and a whole lot on the art world. It was smartly written and the characters were great. Even the somewhat ridiculous plots involving Nazi treasure was easily overlooked because the execution was so good. I also love Elizabeth's character & Agent Barrigan. Shows always try to add strong women but they're 90% identical and basically written like men. Barrigan & Elizabeth are not like that. They're complex individuals that feel authentic.
I was just talking about how I enjoyed this show more than the average show of this type. Spot on that the characters are well written. I also think I enjoyed that the crimes are not your standards murders of the week whiches helps white collar avoid the repeditiveness of shows in this genre.
They should’ve just left her out of the show for a while. Would’ve been better, every scene they used the green screen was pointless to the plot and could’ve been left out.
I mean personally I never rooted for him to become a good guy that much cause I always loved it when he went back to his con-man ways, but maybe thats just me ahah
Me too, but itwent further for me: I mostly hated Peter. Niel is sopposed to be extremely intelligent, but somehow Peter gets him anyway. So dumb, at times.
@@XanderFenikkusu Peter has an entire team and the full resources of the FBI to draw upon. If you look at the access he has to public databases, traffic cams and in terms of technology...all he's got to do is understand the pattern. Neal has to not just beat Peter...but all of Peter's resources. Peter isn't smarter, he's just smart enough to use the tools at his disposal to reach the right conclusions.
Yeah, I can kinda see the Father-Son relationship between Neal Caffrey & Peter Burke, but then again I kinda see it more as Big Brother-Little Brother relationship. The more time Neal & Peter spent together working on cases, the more of a deep bond kept developing between them. That is why I’ve always loved this show; not just because it takes place in my beautiful hometown NYC, but because they’re inseparable & they end up learning more of each other while feeling guilty & worried about each other. I wish they can make one more season in where Peter & Neal reunite one more time, then Neal can finally live his life the way he wanted to without ever having to look back being worried about living behind bars again.
Surprisingly a sizeable difference in age between the two. I definitely see the brothers thing too. I think the Dad situation felt appropriate in the later seasons when his real Dad stepped in. You saw Peter care on a level that was as deep and nurturing as a Father would.
Nater Tot Yeah you’re right about that. All the more reason as to why I’ve always loved the show. I wasn’t into it at first, but when my uncle left behind his 1st season dvd set in my family’s home when he moved out, I’d figure that I watch it just out of curiosity & grew attached to the show ever since.
I initially agreed with your perception of their relationship, especially in season one, but as the show continued, they seemed too reluctant to change the functioning status quo, with each season becoming more formulaic, it kind of ruined the relationship between Peter and Neal for me? In the first season it makes sense for Peter to distrust Neal cause he's a con man and Peter has only ever known him to be a very intelligent, crafty yet non violent con man. It makes sense for him to be wary of Neal. As the season progresses and they both start to trust each other more, with Peter realising that, while Neal has a appreciation for the finer things in life, Neal doesn't really have evil or even just purely monetary intentions, but is instead in it for the thrill and to show off that he can in fact do what most others claim is impossible, and his also deeply driven to do most illegal things he does with the intention of saving his one true love, which Peter understands and relates to due to his own love for Elizabeth. They work really well in this season since they are convincing foils of one another, just similar enough to effectively play on their differences. Peter love Elle and would do anything for her; Neal loves Kate and would do anything for her, Peter works for the thrill his work gives him; Neal stages elaborate heists for the thrill it gives him. While their means of operation might differ, their motivations are quintessentially the same. That's what makes them seem like an older and a younger brother who have the same family and possible the similar values yet have dealt with life in very different ways. Peter is a good mentor in season one cause he shows Neal how he could satisfy/achieve/deal with his motivations in a lawfully abiding way, while Neal keeps Peter young, challenges him and helps him leave his well established comfort zone. The issue I see is that they revert back to this relationship of mistrust at the beginning of every season and have both Neal and Peter essentially learn the same lessons and face the same moral quandaries over and over again, instead of letting them learn from their respective mistakes and really develop. Peter knows that Neal will run if he is pushed or feels too controlled and Neal knows that Peter will be less forgiving the longer he waits to tell him about the shit he gets into. Neal has the same revelation about wanting to be good every season but the show never lets him change in a meaningful way, cause the season finally keeps resetting him to his previous state. Similarly, Peter and Neal may fight but at the end of the day, there are no real long term consequences in regards to their relationship, there is no change. When Peter massively oversteps his boundaries in regard to Neal's father, the only lead Neal has on Ellen's killer, there's a fallout sure, but that barely lasts an episode before they're back to the status quo. Peter never learns from Neal treating him like he's just his handler, never realises that his need for control has gotten of hand, and Neal never learns to set effective boundaries so he may approach Peter of his own volition when he needs help. That ruins the older-younger brother dynamic cause that kind of dynamic requires trust. Something neither of them should have after the first few episodes of season 4 cause Peter never really trusted Neal to begin with and Neal constantly gets in trouble for trusting Peter. case in point: he was perfectly safe in Cape Verde until Peter called him under false pretences and then proceeded to record their conversation to find Neal, despite being told by literally everyone, even his boss and Neal, to back off, which then gives away Neal's location to the people who want to find and maybe hurt him. They never let Neal tilt back into fully being a con-man criminal thief/forger either so he never gets to change as a character in a way that would let him truly shine as one of the good guys but also never let him fully regress into being what he currently shines most at and is most compelling to watch while doing, which is scheme, planning heists and using charisma to get out of trouble. So they end up tragically underutilising both Neal and Peter, and their dynamic, which make Peter pretty unlikable by the end of the show in my opinion.
I never rooted for Caffery to “be the good guy he could be.” I wanted the opposite. I wanted to see him give in to the darkness and be the criminal genius he is, to not let “being a good person” stand in the way of his full potential.
I love Elizabeth (the wife) and she was a pretty underrated character. She really mom of the group in a loving and endearing way. She usually wasn't overbearing and mean.
I really loved her at the start of the show, cause she was a fantastic character that was morally kind of between Peter and Neal while also being a delight to watch cause she could be fairly multifaceted and also let people see another side to Peter. Later in the show though, I think they kind of diverted from who her character originally was and utilised her in a way that led to her kind of abusing the trust Neal and Mozzie placed in her and using the fondness Neal had for her to make him lie to Peter. I kind of wish they would have stuck to the way her character acted in season 1 and used her a bit more later on in the show and included her in more of their plans and scheming, since I think that would have really rounded things out.
White Collar is my favorite show! The chemistry of the cast is awesome. I never watched a show that caught me from the start and kept me hooked all the way through (even S4, which is my least favorite season). Characterizations and acting were awesome. And the pilot is still the best pilot of any show I have ever watched.
I absolutely agree. Eastin wrote a fantastic pilot that perfectly identified the characters, themes and conflicts. I really believe it set the tone for the rest of the show's success.
@@ezequielgaitan2181 I'd say inspired. Based means the events in the show took place in real life, with some differences of course. Inspired means events in the show were created in relation to similar events that actually occurred in real life.
It was an (obvious) joke. The fact I made the mention made it obvious that I thought so and was picking on the fact that his 'handsome' is actually quite distracting. I'm sorry that wasn't more clear.
Easily one of my favorite shows in television. The way Neil is able to con people in order to get out of sticky situations never gets old. Probably right behind Psych as my favorite show. The series finale was absolutely perfect and definitely set up a future movie, which I personally would love to see.
Having re-watched this show recently, it's striking how much both characters are actually anti-heroes. While we see that more often than not Peter is right about Neal...he's often basing it on hunches, and the time where he's wrong about Neal are waived off as "Well it's better to be safe than sorry". Burke is absolutely well meaning...as is Neal most of the time...he's shown to steal only from those who are so wealthy that they aren't really going to be severely hurt by his actions. Burke is a tool of the state, he does everything according to the law, regardless of who it hurts in the end. With the exception of Mozzie, everyone who commits a crime in Burke's presence ends up being arrested and charged. Burke doesn't care about right and wrong, he cares about catching criminals. This is what makes the relationship so great, Neal cares about right and wrong, and is often Peter's conscience. What Neal doesn't care about is the law...and Peter is the one keeping Neal from breaking the law regularly...although Neal does break the law all the time...he's just given license to do so by the FBI. The pair itself are anti-heroes, who balance each other out to be heroic. By himself Burke isn't heroic, he's a good FBI agent who blindly follows the law...Neal isn't heroic as he's a criminal looking to enrich himself. Together they are heroic because they balance each other out, and do good as a result of their partnership. One thing which is interesting about the show is that it never shows wealth and rich people as undeserving unless they commit crimes. In several cases, you even hear that Neal can't be rich because he hasn't "earned" it. Even though he is more talented and works harder than most of the rich people on the show. In the real world, most rich people are born to it, and don't really earn their wealth. The world of White Collar is a nearly utopian meritocracy where the people who earn wealth have it, and those who don't are either poor or criminals. It works as the premise of a show like this...but it's in no way reflective of the real world. This is a great show to re-watch critically, its fun escapism with great writing and pacing...but it's also a great character study where as much as they try to make things black and white...it's a lot more subtle if viewed a bit more critically than intended.
I like all of the shows but based on the rewatchability then I would go with this ranking: 1. Psych (Watched the whole thing multiple times) 2. White Collar (See it 2 or 3 times) 3. Burn Notice (only watched it during its run)
Yeah the nice thing about psych is that you don't watch it just for the plot, it's for the jokes and the bromance which never gets old no matter how much you know it
The thing that got me to keep watching after the pilot, other than matt bomer questioning my sexuality, was that the pilot had a banger of of a end song. "Sam and dave- Hold on I'm coming" if you're interested. Still listen regularly to it
@@Perception5639 I cant really say anything, good or bad. I guess im just looking for more reasons to watch burn notice and psych. What do you like so much about it? Suits however is fantastic up until the point they were just trying to make episodes to keep the seasons going, one of my favorites.
@@hughesga1745 Burn Notice and White Collar i could have easily swapped places with, tbh. Both shows are very well written, and the actors have great chemistry with one another. I think Michael Westen is grossly underrated as a character. Add in Fiona, Sam, and his hypochondriac mother....there is some comedic gold in there, too. Psych i enjoyed honestly because it was a "comedic", if you will, spin on one of my all-time favorite shows, The Mentalist. Shawn Spencer and Patrick Jane are basically the same character, minus the tragedy. To be honest, i never really got into Suits beyond a few episodes, so me putting it at four is based on my own ignorance of the show, not that it was any "worse" than the ones i listed above it.
literally have watched the whole show at least 4 times now, never gets old. it’s a bit repetitive but it’s easy to look past that since there are so many great things about it
White Collar is one of the best shows ever!!!! I so want Jeff Easton to bring this show back! It was a beautifuly filmed show, fantastic writing, and great chemistry of the two lead actors. Thank God I own the box set to all 5 1/2 seasons, so I can watch WC forever ❤️

This show was the door-opener to my tv-show obsession and the reason i learned english. there wasn't any dubbed episodes available anymore so i had to. Well, not the worst decision i ever made.
White collar is the only one of your fave three I could binge on during the COVID plague. But, that said, thanks for the class out-takes, and commentary.
It was my favorite show until it ended. Love so much the writing and the bromance between Peter and Neal and all the heist that Neal pulled off to catch the bad guy. It was like spending time with your best friends! The only problem I had with the show is that something things unfolded too quickly (e.g,. Kate) but I really loved the show.
i loved white collar as well as all of the usa shows at the time. burn notice was my favorite, but white collar was great. it had gorgeous actors/actresses, had a mini-ocean's eleven heist most episodes, and the "is he good or bad" vibe running through was the icing on the cake. i'd like to see a covert affairs vid, fyi!
I love this show the writing, characters, actors especially Matt Bomen. He is such an underrated actor. I always loved watching him try to con Peter or get into mischief with mozzie behind Peter's back. And mozzie great character and the actor playing him brilliant. All around great show. And it's shot in New York!
Great tv show, and I loved the way he always had his own motivations while being a decent guy- moooost of the time. Bomer would make a phenomenal James Bond. Fun fact, he voiced Superman once for an animated film.
White collar is in my opinion has the best story and characters. Each episode is unique and each character is memorable. The plot is amazing and it always manage to surprise you. I love Burn notice and all the action it has but white collar is my favorite.
Loving these discussions of some older shows! These are all really underrated USA gems! While I love Psych and Burn Notice, I've gotta say that White Collar is my favorite at its best. The first three seasons are some of my favorite of any TV show, and I've rewatched them endlessly. Subscribed :)
I love the characters of Peter, Neal and Diana, sometimes Jones and Hughes enters too, and yeah... I like Elizabeth but sometimes she's not nice to Neal, I kind of feel she is nice to him like a mom or a big sister but then she goes and takes advantage of his friendship and exploits his criminal skills because Neal has to help his handler in dangerous situations and in the end she will always support Peter, no matter what has to be done about it, and Neal ends in a bad position with Peter, for example in season 4 with senator Pratt and the 5th season with the false confesion
Teddy Meredith Love me some Boyd Crowder! Don't usually like villains, but Boyd tended to outsmart everyone with his "backup plan to the backup plan" mentality. I liked Boyd better than Raylan (who seemed to be, for a given value of "real", a realistic hero, in that he didn't always win, dude brought a gun to a gun fight and still got played).
I never gave this show a chance because I was too busy drinking whenever it was on but last year when flying for only the 2nd time and being scared shitless it was one of the two shows on the flight that could calm me down
Michael Weston Lie to Me was a good show, but nothing really like The Mentalist which was a great show (first bunch of seasons. Red John ending was a mess).
I’m on my 18th time watching it. I can’t get enough it’s jus one of those light hearted shows where you have a good time no matter what. I learned a lot from this show. I’m tryna hit 20 times, wish me luck ✊😎
Last two times I have tried to create a "Handsome" rogue in D&D, I've based the character off Neil Caffrey. Or when I think if I should wear a Fedora... realize I am not as handsome or slick/cool as Caffrey, and then say no. I shouldn't :p I think the next time I want to play a "straight-lace" character, I am basing it off Burke. USA had a great run. I keep meaning to check out some of their new stuff (My Father likes Suits a lot). Mr. Robot (Heard good things), Treadstone, maybe try the Purge.... but yeah the shows back during this period on USA were fantastic. I agree that it had its problems, (The other ones, Burn Notice, Psych and Monk had theirs as well, but the green screen and product placement were out on top of issues), but it had a lot going for it, mostly the whole "chemistry" between the two leads, and fantastic secondary and trinity (Is that how you say it?) characters. ANother good look into a favorite show from my past!
Thanks for the beautiful comment, Kevin. You aren't alone. Caffrey's style is hard to intimidate. His lean shape and confidence helps make it work though! I agree! USA was on a hot streak
It's weird that you'd call this "goofy" when Psych exists. Don't get me wrong I love both shows, but in Psych's later seasons it took itself too seriously. White Collar makes fun of itself constantly, and for me that's what makes a show great. Take yourself seriously enough to tell a story, then have fun because it's still TV
White collar is the only one of those 3 shows I watched entirely. I did watch like the first half of the first episode of Burn Notice, but didn’t like it. So I would definitely say I like White Collar the most out of those 3.
the three shows you mention repeatedly in this (that you did the other videos on) are definitely some of my top favorite tv shows of all time. Great dissection!
i watched this show as a teenager and started rewatching it recently (needed something to watch with my mom) and i totally forgot how good it was. i thought it was just another one of those shows to pass the time but it's genuinely quite well written. my favourite thing about it is it doesn't coddle the viewer at all. it expects you to be able to understand information communicated only once or through double meanings etc and expects you to be able to keep up with all the references. and it's really a character-first show which i love
I'm OBSESSED with the car ad placements in 2000s early teens shows it's so funny. Bones and early NCIS are guilty of this too off the top of my head its great
Your timing makes me wonder if you are my FBI agent. I rewatched psych a couple months ago and around season 5 you uploaded your video on psych. Now I’m rewatching white collar and you upload this video while I’m four seasons in. I would consider white collar my all time favorite show, especially because I loved the end even though it seemed a little rushed. Psych is a close second though
I apologize. I only creep during appropriate times. Fortunate timing for you. Season six does feel incredibly rush and extremely short. The Pink Panthers felt like such a great idea that didn't fully come to fruition like I would have hoped.
White Collar is the best tv show I have ever seen. I also liked Daredevil and Breaking Bad but White Collar holds the top notch position in my rankings. I only care about writing, character development and storyline.. CGI n product placement is not that much for me, I can sideline those to what a fantastic show it was.. Thank you so much for your review, I liked the way you studied n described everything would certainly watch more videos of you..
AK, thanks so much for the compliment and comment. I'm right there with you. I do enjoy some spectacle...who doesn't? I think the constant reliance on it, especially with modern day story telling can make for forgettable shows. I think this is why so many people, like myself, enjoy shows like Psych, White Collar, Daredevil, Burn Notice, etc. Due to the lack of production size and budget size, they're forced to make compelling characters. Compelling characters will keep you around a lot longer than a compelling plot. I really appreciate the kind compliment and hope you tune in to more of my content (in particular this Friday, as a NEW Lost and Found will be released!)
Dude, White Collar is THE BEST. It’s the only show that I’ve watched twice, and would watch again without hesitation. Not to mention that even burn notice was also very nice, but WC is WC
My top three shows are white collar, leverage, and chuck. If you haven’t watched chuck do so. Zachery Levi is great as in the rest of the cast. It is also where I first saw Matt Bomer.
Chuck used the "can chuck do the thing?" concept WAY too much. It just started to make me want to skip waiting for him to do the thing every episode. It becomes an incredibly repetitive show very fast.
You should watch Graceland. It is a darker USA show, but really good as well. My ranking of the older shows would prob be 1. Monk 2 Psych 3. Burn notice 4. White collar. All really good shows, but I think that would be the ranking.
Little off subject but I think you would appreaciate leverage it's one of these law kind of shows with it's own niche. Its about a groop of the finest criminals in the world coming together to do a Robin hood type thing its dope Also 1. Psych 2. Psych 3. Psych
I loved this show so much. It was funny and serious with great character development. Shows these days are either super intense or funny with zero plot. Wish it came back with another season.
I was hooked on White Collar from the 1st episode. The story of the music box and the treasure is what, for me, gets the nod over the others. Love Psych, Monk, Burn Notice, probably in that order, but all 4 get a 10 when rating them. I liked Covert Affairs too, as well as Suits and Royal Pains, not necessarily in that order. But with underlying themes on Pysch with Neil's dad, Ellen, the Rafael kept me hooked. I'll still binge all 4 and for me are better than other network shows, that I still enjoy, like Bones, Castle, Lie to Me, Elementary, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Law and Order (all versions) CSI (all versions). White Collar for me is the best of them all.
I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on the show as well as thoughts on USA's hot streak in the 2000s with these successful shows? Should I do Monk in the future? Let me know!
@@NaterTot i think vids on monk and covert affairs would round off your usa great programming from the early 2000's nicely! monk, like sherlock holmes, doesn't officially work for the police and doesn't take credit. he's anti-social, etc. covert affairs...female james bond, exotic filming locations, great acting and nice drama. looking forward to more!
Interesting note... the guys who created White Collar and Burn Notice are best friends who developed those show at approximately the same time. Reportedly several of the cast members from both shows actually auditioned for both shows.
I've never even heard of the other two shows you mention in this but I LOVE White Collar SO MUCH! Seen it multiple times and would love to watch it again! So.. gun to my head I could definitely pick. ^_^
Hubby and I watched White Collar every night on Netflix, loved it! We kind of got tired of Peter by the last season but never Neal!! His character was totally lovable. We enjoyed Mozzie's character. Wish there was more of Matt Bomer on TV.
PLEASE make a video about USA's decision to switch from their "Blue Sky" era programming to their darker shows. I personally love Mr. Robot but would like to see what made them decide to change direction.
White Collar is the best USA Network “Characters Welcome” show for one reason - Peter and Elizabeth Burke. Best TV married couple of the 00s, bar none. 🥰
So the first video of yours I find is Burn Notice, one of my favourite ever shows. And it recommends this one, about another one of my favourite ever shows! I love how more than just me kinda connect them in their brains
Oh, absolutely! I appreciate you checking out both reviews and hope you continue to support me. I work hard on my content and I'm always recommending new things!
2 years late to this video. As someone who has a deep hatred for shows like Law and Order and NCIS for really only having any narrative significance in the first episode the middle episodes and the finale of every season. I have only been drawn to cop shows that have a twist to them. I am thinking of shows like Psyche, Lucifer, the Mentalist and of course White Collar. White Collar remains to be the only series THE ONLY SERIES i have binged watched from episode 1 to the series finale more than once. I binged this series 6 times and I would always recommend people to this show before I recommend any other cop show that exists.
After watching your Burn Notice video I was curious to see if you had reviewed White Collar and I am glad you did :) I didn't watch the show right from when it started in 2009. I saw reruns of the first season in 2011 (when season 3 was currently airing) and I really liked the first few episodes to become a regular viewer of the series. Burn Notice and White Collar have some similarities in that both series have main characters who are really skilled at their trade, haunted by their past and finding answers to their main problems, for Michael it's his Burn Notice, for Neal it's Kate, Vincent Adler and then his father. Where the two shows differ from my perspective is that while both shows have a storyline i.e Mike helping people and Neal solving FBI cases, with a parallel story of finding answers to their questions, Burn Notice has two arcs - the first is Michael helping ordinary people and trying to get his old job back till season 4-5, towards the end of season 5 the arc changes to Michael trying to help Fiona and then on the run from the CIA and be free, from the 2nd arc Burn Notice is no more the storyline of a burned spy helping ordinary people. White Collar somehow maintained that parallelism, with Neal solving FBI cases and the parallel storyline changing from Kate, Adler, the treasure, his father, and finally securing his freedom. IMO, Burn Notice had to do that to keep in pace with the changes in Michael's life. My only issue with White Collar was the final season. Back in 2013 when fans were waiting for the 6th season, there were reports that it might be delayed due to the director's focus on other projects. They then came out with a 6th season final season with way fewer episodes than the previous season, resulting in a rushed season with not the same level of excitement and adventure as the previous ones, and an ending that at least I wasn't satisfied it (and found it to be cliched). I wish the finale would have been better but well what's done is done, and at the end of the day White Collar is still a series that is worth binge watching over and over. Since you liked Larry Sizemore in Burn Notice, he also makes an appearance in White Collar in the first episode of season 2. That was one of my favorite White Collar episodes, and it'd be great if Tim Matheson would have reappeared on the show the same way the bought back Mark Sheppard as Curtis Hagen a.k.a The Dutchman.

Peter isn't smarter, he's just smart enough to use the tools at his disposal to reach the right conclusions.
I got to work with Matt Bomer and he is intimidatingly attractive, and, in my interactions with him, genuinely kind.
What do you work as?
Are you an actor?
Everyone fell for this troll.
He is very nice to fans
I don’t get this obsession with being the good guy either...
Yep - I wanted him to do what he was amazing at. It's not like he was killing anyone.
@@sillyslicker1 even then... we all root for Dexter.
@@Nswix Yeah, it helped that he was almost always very thorough in making sure they were awful people.
Smile yeah I know but we can't always have what we want.
I love Elizabeth (the wife) and she was a pretty underrated character. She really mom of the group in a loving and endearing way. She usually wasn't overbearing and mean.
Absolutely. She has some of my best scenes and her chemistry with Peter was always spot on.
White Collar is the only one I've seen every episode of (probably twice even), so, the show gets my #1 vote. (Psych gets a really close second though)
I can't argue with that list!
White collar is far and away my favorite crime show. I just wish someone would bring it back for another run!
It was until mindhunter came out
White Collar is my favorite show!
I really believe it set the tone for the rest of the show's success.
this show reminded me of catch me if you can . and kind a like a continuation of that story with some extra stuff
Well, it's actually based on the same person
@@ezequielgaitan2181 I'd say inspired. Based means the events in the show took place in real life, with some differences of course. Inspired means events in the show were created in relation to similar events that actually occurred in real life.
Youre told matt bomer is attractive? lmao just say hes attractive
what lmao
It was an (obvious) joke. The fact I made the mention made it obvious that I thought so and was picking on the fact that his 'handsome' is actually quite distracting. I'm sorry that wasn't more clear.
Matt Bomer and and Tim DeKay are what made this show so interesting
I like all of the shows but based on the rewatchability then I would go with this ranking:
1. Psych (Watched the whole thing multiple times)
2. White Collar (See it 2 or 3 times)
Still listen regularly to it
Such a perfect way to end the first episode, so fitting
1-Psych
2- White Collar
3- Suits
3- Burn Notice
Respect your list. Mine varies slightly, however.
1-White Collar
2-Burn Notice
3-Psych
4-Suits
White Collar
White Collar
White Collar
The first seasons of Psych
Psych is at the bottom of that list
literally have watched the whole show at least 4 times now, never gets old. it’s a bit repetitive but it’s easy to look past that since there are so many great things about it
White Collar is one of the best shows ever!!!! I so want Jeff Easton to bring this show back! It was a beautifuly filmed show, fantastic writing, and great chemistry of the two lead actors. Thank God I own the box set to all 5 1/2 seasons, so I can watch WC forever ❤️
I would love to see your take on Leverage!
That's definitely in the plans!
@@NaterTot Thats fantastic! You are definitely covering some of my all time favorites in Psych, White Collar, Burn Notice. Then shows like Leverage, Lie To Me, Numb3rs, and more I think are right your (and my) alley.
@@JSargeK you are exactly right. Most will be on Lost and Found. It's a balancing act and trying to find growth. I haven't quite figured it out yet.
@@NaterTot Well good luck to you! I'm just glad to have found someone with as deep an appreciation for these great shows as I have. I'll be excited to see where you take this series and channel.
Seconding this. Leverage is the standard I hold other shows to.
This show was the door-opener to my tv-show obsession and the reason i learned english. there wasn't any dubbed episodes available anymore so i had to.
Well, not the worst decision i ever made.
That's excellent! You had a great show teacher then! I hope you check out some of my other content and find more shows to fall in love with! :)
You gotta do “Suits” now!
Bit of trivia, Matt Bomer was also among those considered to be cast as Superman - that honor fell to Henry Cavill.
Nah he was running the film before when he was around 24. So he lost the role to brandon routh more likely.
He’s gotta do Chuck it’s too good and always underrated
First video I ever did!!
White collar is the only one of your fave three I could binge on during the COVID plague. But, that said, thanks for the class out-takes,
and commentary.
I think person of interest is very underrated. Watch it if you haven't
i loved white collar as well as all of the usa shows at the time. burn notice was my favorite, but white collar was great. it had gorgeous actors/actresses, had a mini-ocean's eleven heist most episodes, and the "is he good or bad" vibe running through was the icing on the cake. i'd like to see a covert affairs vid, fyi!
Perfectly said. Goofy stuff aside, White Collar is awesome. Entertaining throughout. Covert Affairs and Monk are both on my lists, trust me.
This was such a good show, would love to see them do a prequel to this where Peter is chasing Neal.
90's anime, 90'sNickelodeon, Disney channel and mid 2000's usa network shaped my childhood. As a writer, and artist.
I’d say justified. That show is amazing
Teddy Meredith
Love me some Boyd Crowder!
I never gave this show a chance because I was too busy drinking whenever it was on but last year when flying for only the 2nd time and being scared shitless it was one of the two shows on the flight that could calm me down
I love and miss USA Network's breezy "Characters Welcome" days.
Now they want to be all serious and brooding like every other channel these days.
Agreed! I'm also doing a Monk review for this reason!
@@NaterTot Perhaps some day you could review a current USA Network show in order to highlight how much the channel has changed?

Michael Weston Lie to Me was a good show, but nothing really like The Mentalist which was a great show (first bunch of seasons. Red John ending was a mess).
Oh I loved it, so interesting
They don't make nice shows anymore, it's politics or violence these days.

I’ve seen all off them at their time and Burn Notice is still my favorite.
Good man.
That is a great show.
I’m on my 18th time watching it. I can’t get enough it’s jus one of those light hearted shows where you have a good time no matter what. I learned a lot from this show. I’m tryna hit 20 times, wish me luck ✊😎
My absolute favorite show ever, hope they bring it back !!!
Glad this was suggested to me. Love white collar and watching videos about things I like
Caffrey was the man,I heard they could be bringing back White Collar, but when I watched the show as a kid I wanted to be like him.
I'm down for some Lost & Found of Leverage or Person of Interest. ...Or Leverage AND Person of Interest.
Both excellent shows!

Have you thought about doing a full breakdown of a really good episode of some of these shows.
easily the best and most rewatchable series in the network
It's weird that you'd call this "goofy" when Psych exists. Don't get me wrong I love both shows, but in Psych's later seasons it took itself too seriously. White Collar makes fun of itself constantly, and for me that's what makes a show great. Take yourself seriously enough to tell a story, then have fun because it's still TV
White collar is the only one of those 3 shows I watched entirely. I did watch like the first half of the first episode of Burn Notice, but didn’t like it.
So I would definitely say I like White Collar the most out of those 3.
Burn Notice episodes get better, if you want to give it another go.
dammit now i have to re-watch it for the 34th time
When USA Network had Burn Notice, Suits and White Collar all on around the same time as well back to back to back hits
White Collar is easily in my top 5 favorite shows
White Collar, Burn Notice, and Warehouse 13 are my favorite shows ever
the three shows you mention repeatedly in this (that you did the other videos on) are definitely some of my top favorite tv shows of all time.
I hope they’re really bringing back White Collar
I'm OBSESSED with the car ad placements in 2000s early teens shows it's so funny. Bones and early NCIS are guilty of this too off the top of my head its great
You should do one of these on Leverage. Love that show. It's not USA, but still a fun one.
I don't just do USA shows! Leverage will be on here soon, trust me!
This is another AMAZING show that dropped the ball on its last season but this show is...positively amazing. Well written and very well acted.
You Should watch The Mentalist
Rajat Chorghe will give it a try thanks
Dude you nailed the Burn Notice one and this too. I feel like these shows were so underrated and it's nice to see this.
Dude, White Collar is THE BEST. It’s the only show that I’ve watched twice, and would watch again without hesitation. Not to mention that even burn notice was also very nice, but WC is WC
Love how I got two unskipable ads as you said product placement 😅
My top three shows are white collar, leverage, and chuck. If you haven’t watched chuck do so. Zachery Levi is great as in the rest of the cast. It is also where I first saw Matt Bomer.
Chuck was the FIRST review I ever did on the channel (you can tell, too!). I love Chuck!

Let me know!
monk? yes!

White Collar is the best USA Network “Characters Welcome” show for one reason - Peter and Elizabeth Burke. Best TV married couple of the 00s, bar none. 🥰

This show and Psych are criminally underrated. And yeah I'm bitter about how attractive Bomer is hahaha.
Stinking USA pulled the show because it wasn’t “dark enough” such a stupid decision. Hate USA for that. I love WC and Burn Notice, Monk was good too
I fell in love with White Collar. Ten stars.
What makes White Collar work is the attention to detail.

Neil Cafferey isn't the anti hero, he is THE HERO for me💖
Aaand now I want to rewatch White Collar again!! haha- gah I love Neal, and Neal and Peter's relationship, and this show, SO much
I really love white collar simply cause it introduced me to my two favorite hobbies lock picking (it’s like puzzles) and pickpocketing (party trick)
You need to do a video on Person of Interest
That's definitely on the list of things to do, David!
Burn Notice was not only the best from that era. It will always be in my top 5 favorite shows of all time.
After watching your Burn Notice video I was curious to see if you had reviewed White Collar and I am glad you did :)
I didn't watch the show right from when it started in 2009.
