I'm 77. All my real friends have passed on. Now I spend most of my time doing what is best for me, while still remembering my good friends. I try to be a good example for younger people who I come in contact with. It's really hard to find new good friends, but I'm still happy... kinda.

@@kennedykiser557 I have. I have a very strong faith. That being said, other friends are needed as well. Jesus is not the only answer to a complete life. Actually, I am an inspiration to many young folks. I'm a well balanced person too. I found a new church I'm attending and that's a good thing. I know you mean well, but your answer can be a turn off for some folks (even me.) When responding, try to look a little deeper in people when they are reaching out. Just my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions :-)

@@adamgoodword7888 After being married after 11 years and moved back to my hometown, I reconnected with 2 guys I used to grow up with and date. I realized why the friendship fizzled the first time. Still no growth and were jealous because I want to do many positive things in my life. They still wanted to party, use people, do enough to get by and feel like they're so superior to others. I hung up on one of them and didn't look back and cut contact with the other. I haven't looked back and I feel better. I never got to see them personally to go out but grateful I haven't.

Absolutely! Yet, I think there is nothing wrong with appreciating the time you actually seemed to and/or did complement each other, however long or short that may have been. Also, imo, it's not like one person ever just stops growing, the directions often differ, one may add height, another one width, e.g., and I'm not on a offence mission here, sorry, just as an image. :o Say, wealth and health, and when you look at friendships in your life, the ones lasting and those that vanished, you may actually recognize another pattern in divergent growth.
Outgrowing is a neutral term. Neither good or bad. Just is. We are the ones attaching value on what it means to out grow someone. It is a feeling of moving from the current state. Not better just different and it usually this term is used by the individual who feeling the shift in momentum.

I came to a point that I have outgrown some people in my closet circle . People were downers, fearful, negative whiners. Me being positive adventurous curious of life , I decided to step aside, move ahead without them . I got tired chasing the negativity from their Ora .
They weighted me down.
Now I'm learning that it's a thing like outgrowing people .
I always surround myself with people who are better than me in my field - I learn from them

Felt that poignancy last October but likely should have felt it coming based on gaslit intuition...
Started out afterward almost too hurt to explore the aftermath,
Gained better understanding of myself and what was lacking in the one closest to me,
Grew in levels of empathy and grace almost forgotten having imagined from the innocent ponderings of my childhood when looking into each of us,
And, now, am on the other side dusting myself off and having reaffirmed, reunited with myself - good enough to know what I need to come to know in my next interactions with a calmness within myself maybe I'd forgotten but know it's always a work in progress... because, as I am inferring with my imperfection, no one around me is going to come that way either.
Be around people who bring out the best in you. Y'all bring out the best in each other 💚

Friends I've known for over 20 years I've turned away from because they are really negative and are doing nothing with their lives.
They were dragging me down. They were poisoning me. So I cut them out of my life. And I've never looked back. And I feel so much better for it!!!
I could see that I had outgrown certain older friends. They hadn't changed/evolved in many years. I had become mature and wiser yet these friends were just the same they ever were. People who I once looked up to I was now looking down at it. Quite sad really that some people just dont grow in this life. Its sad to see them get left behind. But truly they only have themselves to blame. And we cannot parent them. We cannot tell them how to live their lives. They need to search and learn and grow themselves.
Get the toxic, negative people out of your life. And don't be tempted to go back to them. That's the hard part. Let go! Learn to let go! You will be happier for it.

Love it! I have done this multiple times and have never, ever regretted it. Cut loose toxic people, bosses, relatives, spouses or old friends. Send away the ones who never give back what you selflessly give to them. Your time, advise, love, money, an ear... all is giving.
Be with the ones you would spend a decade in a desert island, the one who light up your heart, the one who positively sends your system on overdrive by standing next to you.
Life is really short and the fun years are even shorter.

God removed a person I thought I couldn’t breath without.. I started to realize how badly I was being abused and mistreated once he left. It was like a shock to my system that had me in Trauma. I have outgrown people over time. No big drama. It's just over. I wish them well, but goodbye. I outgrew my original career aspirations 25 years ago, something I never expected to do. I am much more now than that career would have allowed me to be. I've outgrown a lot of situations, and happily moved on. Life really is a journey, and it isn't over yet.

I made the wrong choice when I got married and I knew it even before but was scared being left on my own and not being wanted. Thing is not good to stay together for wrong reasons all it does is make you unhappy and the children pick up on it, should of left mine years ago and then my kids would of grown up with different values, old friends that let me down are now in my past and I have now made nicer friends that make me feel good, all this is so true and I have finally made it to a better place x

I've outgrown my entire family. I want better and they are all still toxic and the same I was even the first of my family who went to therpay to heal and cure depression and codependency I have ALWAYS been there for them and met their emotional needs while mine weren't met. they have always mistreatmented me,abused me. I've always been the family scapegoat and was always told to take care of my dad at a young age(13) when he should be taking care of me because HE'S the "parent" smh that was very unfair to put that amount of pressure on a kid. I've had to learn how to reparent myself. So I say all that to say I am ready to cut them off entirely it's become too toxic,and I'm ready to discover my life,and see what's out there for me. 🙏🏾😊

Well that explains why the Lord cleared me of all people. I definitely am more focused on what God wants to do in and through me. I no longer stress about the removal, I'm ready for those that the Lord showed me. Some you do actually have to cut off permanently, it is what it is. No hate, no nothing, sometimes it's just time to release people that don't grow spirtualy and move on. Some people are more comfortable with negative things, the things that connect you aren't worth hanging onto honestly. If we aren't growing upward towards a better state of being, you gotta release them. This video came at the right time! Great video!

Man I have always been a lone wolf. I always find myself distant myself from co workers. I separate myself and I dont need validation from anyone. I do my job and I get results, I workout and have a beautiful tween who I see walk the footsteps I once did. I have a got highly intelligent husband and we 3 are so similar. We are lone wolves who when we are together, are a powerful pack. We understand each other, we understand when at home we 3 go to certain parts of our home to escape and have our alone time.

Every time you make a video it make me feel better when l have a bad day today l had a bad day because before I went to the bus ticket school and l was gonna about to watch this video and then my dad yelled at me and my head start to hurt because I didn't finish the video.

It is hard to take care of yourself if you don't see yours but others problems. All i do is help others cuz i like, but when i heard that video i realized that i don' t have anyone who care for me (except family) .. i help others but no one is there for me....when i realized that i was so sad....one friend that i help the most was speaking harsh about me behind my back
