Thanks mate think I've found the solution for my thunder tiger atlantic. Tried the original shaft with a 5mm to 4mm coupling and it's drilled terrible. Way off center ,had that with universal joints to. Whole motor wants to jump out of the boat. Time to make another order ha,ha,
You don't show how you attach the cable to the shaft. You don't show how you tin the tip of the flex wire. And that is very important . But thanks anyways
Its a 1 piece cable and the stub is welded to the wire. I didnt tin the end, as explained i shaped it to an angle of 45 degrees with no wires sticking out.

Yeah if not perfect at 30- 40k rpm its like a hand granade lol.
