Hi Joey. I'm Jesse. The Ibanez that you played in this video sounds great. I didn't hear any buzzing. Just impressive tone and resonance of sound. I was interested in a Yamaha FS800. However, since I watched your video, I think that the Ibanez sounds better than the Yamaha. I have only been playing guitar for about two years now. But in that time I have developed a sense of hearing the sonic limitations of my Jasmine guitar. And I think an upgrade is overdue. So with that being said I really look forward to playing this IbanezAW54OPN at my local guitar store. And then purchasing it as soon as I can. Thanks again for the guitar review.
I have that guitar and mounted jjb-electronics prestige 330 pickup (a k&k pure type of pickup) and it is amazing.. With a graphtech saddle and bridge and some Elixir strings rulz..
I love Nickel strings, I have been playing them for years on my acoustics. The phos strings sound too bright when I put them on now. The guitar sounds wonderful!
Hey this was an excellent review but was wondering is this guitar worth the money.. any like long term review.... I was looking this guitar for like a worship type of music with like a nice bass and balanced treble... So any review would be great
I’ve seen countless reviews of this guitar, and some were by a handful of lifelong professional players. They say it sounds as nice as 800 to 1200 dollar guitars, at around 240 including tax. Very impressive build and construction quality as well, noted by all.
Hey, unfortunately I have sold both of these guitars. Here’s my comparison after owning both of them. They each have their own positives. I like the small size of the AC and it tends to sit in a mix a little better. If I was doing solo acoustic shows without a band I would play the aw, because it’s a dreadnought and fills more sonic space. Also, I will say that the AC seems to feel more premium in your hands over the AW as well. Could be because of the nice binding and stuff. They both sounded equally good plugged in after I installed the jjb prestige 330! Hope this helps.
It a set of Elixir 80/20 12-53 they will make it sing off the chart I have this guitar and tried various brands n type buy trust me you won’t regret the Elixirs The nickel sound dead out the packet to me

Try picking closer to the neck to fatten up your tone. You have to change your perch!
The pickup sounds great… just like the mic. Was you direct with the pickup or blended with mic?
Pickup has more metalic and electric taste in it, and mic feels a little warmer. Both sound great. That what I can tell.

I can’t say specifically, I’ve not played any of the AAD series. But overall I’ve been very impressed with both Ibanez acoustics that I’ve owned!
