hi! I'm a bio major planning to apply to an accelerated nursing program when I graduate. I was pre-dental but just changed my mind. I was advised to switch to a psych major just to maintain a high GPA but I'm worried the easier versions of the prereques like a&p and microbio etc. won't count for nursing. the schools I have talked to say I won't know until I apply which seems weird. would Bio 40 (a&p) count as much as bio 325 (also a&p but harder)?
hi, good luck with your application! my advice would be to come up with a list of nursing programs you’re interested and contacting them individually to see what counts towards their prerequisites because every program is different.
I’m applying for ABSN programs this spring so excited for this new chapter and also that you’ll be providing nurse resources for specifically ABSN!!
