I've still got the hair, aaaaaallllllll of it, and the smoke, but football, high school, and the stereo are gone and the Chevette rolled its way into a junkyard one night in 1990 listening to 'Operation:Mindcrime'. Rolled it's way the hard way. I'm used to it. I fuckin love this goddamn band for making me feel young again. Thanks Airbourne. I owe you one.

The band said in an interview that when they recorded this album they basically set up all the gear in a room, tossed a couple of mics around in different spots, and just played. It's so simple and raw sounding. Thats one thing I've always admired about certain bands, especially AC/DC and Airbourne. Their music is simple. When they play it live, it sounds like whats on the record. Perfection.
If I were a band member in AC/DC I would really be flattered that we had this much of an impact on people just writing songs. Clearly these men studied AC/DC hard and I really dig their spin on it

The Aussies really do great rock. Airbourne, The Lazys, and obviously AC/DC. Each has their own style, but they are all great rock bands with a nice raw sound.
I saw them this month in Bucharest and I am obsessed with them. They are the best, no joke, we must go to their concerts as often as possible, you will feel positive and energetic for weeks.

Axle was a great frontman for GNR. When it comes to AC/DC, Axle sucked. Joel would be infinitely better at filling the shoes of Scott and Johnson, but Airborne will hopefully end up on top, as they deserve, without filling out individual parts for other bands.
