I wish if that were true, by the way, it would be amazing if all of Berry's villains appear together. I miss the zoom and the savitar so much, the reverse flash and the only one that has unexpected turns, I know he killed Barry's mother, that's his role. But the zoom killed his father, he had to follow the same road. Reverse flash killed the mother, zoom killed the father, these two should appear for these reasons. The savitar did the same thing, killed Iris, unofficially, but that was his goal too. And because of that it must be in the frame of the return of the Flash villains

this is happening in s9 according to set photos
Now I know how they could not fuck this up. It starts with Barry living his life peacefully, him being a good husband, is seeing iris pregnant. Every is living there best life. However red death then appears causing them all to come back. This isn’t it though later we see barry almost about to die until a person in the same suit saves him. After escaping red death it’s revealed to be thawne. Everyone is scared and angry ready to fight. However this thawne is a fanboy he doesn’t know who Barry is but he know he’s the flash so he geeks out. He’s excited to meet the team and his idol. Barry realizing that this is thawne before he turned evil wants to just prevent him from become rf. The whole team is against it and wants him out of there time line. However they figure they need his intelligence since Cisco is gone and jasper is the only smart guy. So barry has them plan to get rid of red death. Meanwhile thawne is looking around star labs touching everything. Until he accidentally opens the time vault. Where he meets this versions Gideon where thawne then says high. Gideon then responds with hello reverse flash. Thawne is confuse to why he’s called that. Thanks to Gideon being stupid she spills it all like how he’s evil. Thawne is in disbelief and is angry that they didn’t tell them. Thawnes eyes turn red. However thawne hides this and plays the game. Mean while thawne plays nice guy and even gets through catlin and even Barry. They later fight red death and win. However thawne then kills him. Flash asks why he did that. Thawne responds with him saying he knows everything he then has another flash ring that has his man in yellow suit. Thawne then tells Barry that this is what history wants him to be the bad guy then so be it. He then speeds off going back in time, barry knowing what he’s planning speeds off and goes back to that night. where then they both fight with Barry winning and returning. However Barry is beginning to fade due to his journey finishing. Then speed force shows up, telling Barry that his journey is finish and there’s one more thing he has to do. Barry is transformed to a lightning bolt. Where he then struck a season one Barry. Starting the loop all over again.
