BOOMBOX AUDITION!!
The only thing that doesn't work is the LED meters...
Another audition of a boom-box that has passed through the LABS at Chronic Foundries. It is the AudioLogic AM/FM STEREO - Double Compact Cassette Player/Recorder. I worked quite a few hours on this gem. I replaced the Play/Rec with a brand new NOS head. The original was badly worn & could not be properly set. I bought it from a guy in Canada that claimed both cassettes were 'working'. I replace the head & tuned it for hours to get the speed & head alignment, or Azimuth, correct. After setting everything up to my best, I think I got quite a solid sound from both decks & the radio pulls in literally 50+ stations in full stereo.
The only thing that doesn't work is the LED meters...
THIS THING ROCKS for REAL! I like these Audiologic boomboxes because they really do perform well & I think they were one of the earliest examples of a double cassette system in a single boombox.
