- Wait until you see the results. There is lots of crud and sometimes rust hiding under the side trim, and if you are going to buff the paint, it's best to take them all off. Link to the kit described: mercedessource.com/store/w123...

Have to give you a huge compliment Kent - thanks for all this info you are sharing for free. Watching almost all episodes and especially the series you made with your son was really cool.
Kent, another wonderful video…Thank you! What I like with your videos is that you anticipate the possible hangups and show the little things that make the jobs end up looking perfect!
So nice of you
Kent, I could not agree more. Original Mercedes and much older beetles have great original paint. They usually buff out very well but like so many things, preparation is the key. Remove trim, clean, then buff. Thank you!
A wealth of knowledge.
Hard to believe that it’s original paint it comes up so well, looks fantastic.
Your work is impressive, you are truly a master, i appreciate you sharing
Thank you very much!
Just bought the kit and paint, thanks!
Thanks for making great videos
Very nice result. I wonder if the W123 was one of the last MB models with single stage paint. I might be mistaken, but I think the W124 already had clearcoat from the factory.
Yeah Spence!
Wow what a difference mercedes source makes to a w123 MBNZ ron
I hope you do a video about w123 earlier versions of cruise control
What a beauty😅
Very nice ❤
Would have loved to have seen how to remove the door handles, and rear nomenclature trim.
👍
Kent is COOL
Have you done a video on the w114-115 loose trans shifter that will not hold in parking?
This is usually the reason why. I have done lots of videos. This link will explain more. mercedessource.com/store/automatic-transmission-shift-rod-bushing-replacement-tool-kit-new-bushings-included
Great job what wax did you use?
I did not use a wax. This was done with a polishing compound. I will show more in a future video.
Is power buffing wet sanding, or compounding?
