Great vid. The intro with Ashley and you is priceless. You are the spark plug of this channel. Without you the channel would not exist. I know the amount of work you out into it. I really appreciate. You and Ashley are top of the line folks. We need a lot more like you so America can return to its greatness.
I'm blessed watching this; I have owned the DART for 12 months and I love it and I have been thinking of getting the Anaconda hence why I'm watching the review. Watching I keep thinking this is something I want until you compared it with the DART and now I'm thinking why pay $435 AUD ($290 USD) for something which isn't going to be any better than what I already own. Thanks for posting this, you saved me quite a bit of money.
You changed up your video format! It really has a great flow to it with the music going. This blade really impresses me. That batonning made quick work of that wood and has great geometry. Looks like you were making feathersticks with ease.
Digging the new reviews! This knife is almost exactly like the Condor Alert. Few minor differences. Around the same price point as the Anaconda. With the nice weather we been having, made a PVC sheath for my knife. Definitely better than the nylon. Also the insert isn't kydex, its a cheap thermal plastic. The Tops website has a video on how to form it for your knife if you were to buy a sheath. Would love to see a review on a knife using it to build a shelter or something.
I need to get a Tops at some point. I have been really eyeing the War Bowie... not really the best for woodcraft use... but I have other knives for that. I would just use it for around the camp carry; over kill? Yes. Fun, Absolutely.
maybe you'd like the tops armageddon, it's got a similar, but larger blade like the dart's grind, and no thumb ramp hump. the only downside i've heard about it is the hook at the back can be painful with chopping if your hand is choked all the way down.
looks like a beast man, great job on the vid. had eyeballed this one before but still kind of on the fence. I think i'd go with it's big brother but that's just me. good vid man, keep it real
Hi great video, yeah those notches are just too wide too for standard barbed wire/fencing wire, they can be much reduced and should break wire more easily. See the notches on the Cudeman 299B I reviewed and you will see what I mean. Seems recurved blade profiles are really in eg Extrema Ratio's Dobermann IV and Cudeman's 299B and a list of others. Did you try to butcher an meat with it at all?
Love the Video, love the family, love the humor, the knife not so much; the music not at all. the scales are changable yes? TOPS pumps out such a great number of knives it is not so hard to find the perfect one for your hand though finding it in combination with the style of blade you may desire can be.
Say Heah Aaron. Yeah, I like ergo style handles, Infact I got all three recent run's of the Busse Combat Series, I also like Choil's and the INFI Steel. I luv my Busse. ,, .
Your wife is really cool. And has great support with your channel. Tell her I said that because I bet it would make her day. Thanks for the awesome videos and keep it up! -Nathan
Hey Aaron, nice review. I got so excited when I saw "Tops Anaconda..." because I have been eyeballing the AN9HP for awhile and thought that you were reviewing it. A little disappointed when I saw 7B, but still worth the view lol! Does the Tops DART fit inside the spec ops sheath? Seems to me it may not due to the profile of the blade and that large piece that sticks out from the finger choil. Just curious since you have both and have probably tried. Thanks and keep those good reviews coming!
Not really interested in this knife because of the recurve and "teeth" but I really like your take on knife reviews, thanks for that and keep it up, big fan!
Another informative review of an overall quality product from Tops. This beast was on my shortlist for a while now but was reluctant based on your review regarding the handle size. Nevertheless, I still went for it. I have small to medium sized hands and the handle size doesn't seem to bother me that much. My hands probably prefer somewhat bigger handles I guess. Keep up those great reviews. Mabuhay!
Aaron I know Tops pretty well but I don't remember seeing that 7B, is there more than one? Also if you had to choose between that and the Dart which would you take? I think I know your answer (Dart) and I think I'd probably go the same way. A lot of their knives have those sharp peaks on their handles that I don't particularly care for either which is why I like the Surv-Tac 7 with a big long handle with a little shape in the middle for your palm. Wish me luck through the big blizzard tonight. Mike
Just realized that I never subbed to your channel after commenting on your TBT-1 review.. What was I thinking... Your videos are great with this one included. BTW Ashley is a peach!
This was a very solid review. Nice job. You mentioned you took it up a dozen times. Was that in one year? How many camping trips would you say you go on every year? I can only get out about 6-8x.
beautiful knife, really a nice object. Cool vid dude and you and your wife are awesome. (I'm french so consider yourself an international channel haha)
Love the porn music. The knife looks really interesting for what I would need it for. Prefer full flat grind but the saber fits the shape and thickness. Definitely my preferred channel for knife reviews. Detailed info and quick to the point. Congratulations on the Mrs.
Rob Cook Thank you for the feed back, I am working with a new lapel mic and new editing software, so I am still ironing out some kinks. Where did you see the biggest jump in audio? All of my talking points were recorded with the same mic and at the same audio level.

mikedifeo Thank you so much, that is very encouraging.
Love the shoutout to your loyal fans. It's great to see good and wholesome RUclipsrs in this niche. It truly is an online community!
BudgetBugout Thanks so much!
The personal touch is nice, guys. Always boosts a channel above its competitors.

Xavier Watson I is awesome, all but the handle ergos.
You should see my Tops Condor Alert, I carry that beast everyday. "Tops Condor Alert 1 tool option" is my full test of it.

togib24 Thank you so much. The dart does fit, but the belly tends to rub on the inside.
gideonstactical does the spec ops sheath hinder the tops dart from being removed from the sheath? or does it make it dull over the time? thanks

Be safe mike! I will have a comparison video later this week on those two blades. You will have to wait and see!
Amen brother. God is good.
really cool that you include other people in your review its really cool;)
mart oosterwoud Thanks!
Just realized that I never subbed to your channel after commenting on your TBT-1 review.. What was I thinking... Your videos are great with this one included. BTW Ashley is a peach!
mackmcnasty27 Haha, thanks and welcome to the GT family.
Great review. Your detail is impressive. Can I assume you would choose this knife over the RTAKs or Junglas?
Jarrod Harvey The Junglas would be a better overall knife if you have Large, Medium, or Small size hands.
This was a very solid review. Nice job. You mentioned you took it up a dozen times. Was that in one year? How many camping trips would you say you go on every year? I can only get out about 6-8x.
I go up about 3 times a month to make this channel happen! So it is work, but it is a lot of fun.
Cool!
what is the knife you are holding up during intro? At right about 8 seconds in.
Hey, are you going to review the new benchmade jungle series? And the Benchmade HK Feint?
alealeale ale Yes I plan too very soon.
Great! I look forward to it.
Love that first song. What is it?

beautiful knife, really a nice object. Cool vid dude and you and your wife are awesome.
(I'm french so consider yourself an international channel haha)
SenatorSmeagol Awesome, Ashley has been to France and loved it.
Love the porn music. The knife looks really interesting for what I would need it for. Prefer full flat grind but the saber fits the shape and thickness.
Definitely my preferred channel for knife reviews. Detailed info and quick to the point. Congratulations on the Mrs.
TGBushcraft Channel Thanks so much!
Sounds more like "Commando" music to me haha
Nate Malone its like music you find in a boot camp porno?
Is there a chance I might see the moccasin ranger or longhorn bowie in the future?
matt nelson I really want to get my hands on the Longhorn Bowie, but I do not have a lot of interest moccasin.
ok
Do you have any experience with the tops black rhino?
+lance pitts No, it tooks too block and I am not really interested in it.
Oh and the made a tops bob packet knife. Not kidding!
Dont really like the part about god in the beginning, but hey its your video. I did really like the review though as always, love me a tops blade
robertma4171 Thanks so much!
👍👍👍👍👍👍
I watch too. ,, .
I like your vids a lot, but the audio is all over the place. Very distracting to have to continually adjust the volume.
Rob Cook Thank you for the feed back, I am working with a new lapel mic and new editing software, so I am still ironing out some kinks. Where did you see the biggest jump in audio? All of my talking points were recorded with the same mic and at the same audio level.
The music is especially high for me. The very end with both of you talking was low.
Cool. I will take a look at it and keep it in mind in the future. Thanks!
You think I'm amazing?! *tear
Good to know for those of us with man hands. 👍
Bigfoot HAHA
