    A leader isn't someone who knows what to do. He's just someone who earned the power make others follow his will.

      A true leader is someone who lives their life with compassion and humility. They live by wisdom and utilizing knowledge not for gain but for the purpose of balancing life with interactions with the natural world they are a part of. A leader, a true leader, is not a leader at all. They do not seak a roll or seek to offer guidance, a teaching, or a structure, just advice as needed from direct experience. The only person a real leader leads is themself. They live as their own guide, and others, seeing the path they walk, are inspired by merit with no true merit in doing small everyday deeds. A true leader is not a leader at all, but a master at being a student of direct experience and living in the present. Knowing their limitations, capacities, and ability to grow and change as time goes by. A leader, a true leader is not a leader at all, but simply a friend when needed, then when their work is done, a friend to themself and the world they live upon. We all can be leaders of our own lives, but we must not make the mistake of demanding people follow us. Everyone has their own path to walk. Their own experuence to be had, their own lessons to learn.

      I'd say there is a difference between "leaders" and "bosses". Bosses just command and wield power/control, while leaders are inspiring (themselves and others), share a vision and thus motivate. Well, of course one could argue that these are just different types of leadership. I just heard about this differentiation once and liked it :)

      Does that apply to all leaders? We first and foremost lead ourselves.

    • @t.c.l1625
      @t.c.l1625 6 месяцев назад

      @@Mtnshell56 if you lead yourself, what other leaders do you need? They are at the end of the day a person, with no more or no less capacity than you in life, though appearances and circumstances may only ever convince you otherwise. Their knowledge or experience is their own, and what you make of it is to be accepted or ignored by your choice. You are always choosing what you listen to wether or not ypu might recognize it, you choose to accept and believe what you want to. Its you who chooses. So you lead yourself regardless. Lead to learn, lead to choose, lead in direction to what does or does not serve a purpose to you at the time. Its the illusion of giving autonomy in decisions to others that tests your trust and faith in life's unfolding. Often the right circumstances come when we find ourselves in the center of our ability to not make choice of comparison between oneself and another, but by way of flowing and changing our attention and focus dynamically with circumstances as they arise. Others see this in practice and think their is a vast wealth of accumulating they need to do, and that is not the case. What you direct attention to is where the mind follows. What you keep attention on, you acquire in memory and understanding.

    I love your videos. Your holiness don't you want to know and see where the first Tibetan Sangaram was opened solely for foreigners. This is north of Patna on the northern banks of the Ganges. Xuan Zangs lovely book led me to the Sangaram. According to him three Sramanas from across the SNOWY MOUNTAINS (From the area around 'Taro Co' lake in northern Tibet) crossed over to India on a pilgrimage to holy Buddhist sites. Indians fail to understand who they are and no one gives them food and shelter and sometimes beat them up. They were lying by the side of the road dying when the King rode up. He inquired about them and when they told him their story, the King realised a Sangaram was needed for foreigners only where Indians won't be allowed. So this can be regarded as the first Tibetan Sangaram in India. Those days Indians had pierced ears because they wore ear rings. Foreigners had unpierced ears so this Sangaram was for unpierced ears. Those days Indians didn't know about Tibet so this Sangaram was for unpierced years, meaning foreigners. Today that Sangaram is a village and that King is the local village deity. This story proves that Buddhism went to Tibet prior to Xuan Zangs epic journey to India. So Tibetans will have to study how and when Buddhism went to Tibet. Because Xuan Zang seems to infer that Buddhism went to Tibet much earlier than what the great masters claim today.

    Tantra teaches about various states of mind. A stupefied mind. A subconscious mind, deep sleep; clear with no void. A distracted mind. A tangible and one pointed state of perception, that mind state.
    What is the stupefied mind? Too much meditation causes stupefication. It makes you stupid. Too much yoga makes you tired. Tired and stupid are the same in observable consequence.

    and what about war? can we go to war by also promoting kindness and compassion? how can war be handled with wisdom? it is a difficult situation because enemy comes to kill you, so you have to protect yourself. you cannot manifest love to the enemy., because otherwise they will kill you, and you will not be able to stop them
