Back in 2006 my parents retired an bought land in PA an my dad designed there dream house an found a custom hone builder to build it I used to go with them all the time up to the build site cuz like my dad had to be there all time make sure everything is up to his standards an done right it was really cool every week seeing the progression I can only imagine how exciting it is when its your actual house congrats on that btw that is actually like a huge accomplishment

It's about 40 degrees Fahrenheit every day. And yes, I know the comparative temps a little bit in Celsius since we lived in Canada for 4 years. Stay cool!

This is weird to me bc when my house was built they didn’t put brick up until the wood structure was up. Is that not how they do it in Australia? Serious question, maybe the weather or something requires different housing structure?? 🧐
Hey Amy I’ve been watching your videos for a couple years now and I love you guys so muchhh and I have reallllyyyy severe gastroparesis and POTS and EDS and I just recently moved from Arkansas to Iowa because the University of Iowa’s hospital is like the #5 hospital in the world or something idk but my family and I moved to Iowa and long story short my keytones are really high and my potassium is really low and my stomach and bones hurt sooo bad like by far worse than labor pains (I have a 1year old baby so it’s really hard right now) but I literally weighed 170 pounds when I had him, 3 weeks ago I weighed 140 pounds, and just last Wednesday I weighed 118 and I think now it’s below 115... but I have no car and no friends and we don’t know anyone and have no way of getting to the hospital that has the care I need which is 2 hours away from me and just last Wednesday I FINALLY got in with a primary care doctor and he referred me to Iowa City hospital and he listened and actually spent about 35 minutes talking to me and my mom and learning my story on my health and how bad it is and I’ve seen at least 7 or 8 GI specialists and they wouldn’t even help me as much as he is. Anyway sorry for the long story and rant I just have no friends but my fiancé and my mom are really stressing out about how to get me to the ER in Iowa City and Idk where I’m going with this anymore I’m sorry but anyway I was wondering if we could like talk sometime I don’t know 🤦🏻♀️ I’m not good at this and I’m sorry I live in the US so I don’t know how to translate pounds into kilograms 😅 uhmmm but yeah HIIII and I’m really sorry this is so long but I love you and you’re beautiful and strong and amazing 💖 bye lol

I think it’s because of the termites that people don’t like to use wood at ground level in Australia.
