I’m far from a genius, but if I had a dead body in my trunk, I would probably do around the speed limit😂
You sure are...how bout just not having a dead body in the trunk. Period...
No one ever said criminals were smart did they 😂😂
Or high, lol.
Yea, I think the usual rule is, if you have a body in the trunk, you can choose either speeding or keeping a joint in your ashtray, but both is just pushing it
@@lazyblazernope
The guy who pulled up claiming his family was looking for him was referring to the dead guy in the trunk and not the suspect.
I love the fact that there are subtitles for the Louisiana accent. lol
Even the subtitles are innacurate lol
I didn't even notice the accent but I was raised in Louisiana. 😂 After listening a bit more attentively that accent is thicker than molasses.
The officer didn't immediately place him under arrest because the suspect was talking and cooperating. If he handcuffs the suspect, then he may shut up and use his right to remain silent. That was solid detective instinct, though a potentially dangerous choice since the officer is alone.
The car belonged to the dead guy's mother. She had bought it for her son. When he was missing the family put out a bolo for the vehicle but didn't want to report it stolen so that their son would not get in a situation. They just wanted to know where he was and that he was safe. The suspect robbed him of his car and shot and killed him. The suspect and the victim had the same first name. He didn't even know the guy, just killed him for the car.
And this is why I drive a POS looking car. Nobody wants to steal it. They also think I'm too broke to bother robbing. Nobody realizes that I completely restored it mechanically.
In the unedited video, you get to see the cop pop the trunk (boot) and his lean forward to look and then his recoil, face turn, and eyes look away, before he nods. Then the older cop looks and that's where the arrest picks up.
In rural Louisianna, driving a couple of miles per hour over the speed limit in a muscle car will get you pulled over by the State Troopers or local law enforcement. It doesn't take much to get pulled over in this part of the USA.
Don't have out of state plates, either!
73 in a 55 is more than a couple 😂
There’s even footage of a cop pulling a guy over for going 2mph under the speed limit.
They will pull over anyone for anything to get that quota
Drink a shot every time they say “body in the boot” 😂
If you watch the interrogation of the driver he full on admits to the cold blooded murder.
My first car was an old beat up 1980 Mazda 626 that went 0 to 60 mph in three days.
Mine was a later 80's 626, but not much better.
*ONLY* 3 days??? You lucky dawg, mine pulled it in about a week
@@yungkidnf Ha!
My first car was a clapped out 1988 Toyota Camry, I could only run a 0-60 with a good tailwind 😂
I had a 1981 cutlass supreme that I had to fix something on almost daily. Only paid $700 for it.
New drinking game, take a shot every time they say boot 😵
I think after the lying and bullet hole discovery would be a sensible time for a more officer safety oriented approach as he continued to investigate.
Instead he let him hang out unrestrained and unattended and not knowing if he had any weapons (didn't see him check) as he focused on other things.
"In a shopping trolley with the grass growing through it." I laughed so hard!
In the states you can send your 16 year old off in a Ferrari the day they get their license lol. Of course insurance would be sky high but if you're buying 'raris then I suppose insurance is pocket change
I’d love to see some “Police Activity” reactions from you guys!
youtube.com/@PoliceActivity?si=UmO5M093Z1kAci8b
I’m with Dave, I’d drive just over the limit. You stick out from everyone else if you drive exactly the limit.
Not in Norway, 2 over and u get a hefty fine, ridicoulus but thats the way it is, we have stupid politicians here.
I have found that when I'm committing crimes the key is to blend in.
Your government has as much control over you as you allow them to. If you don't like your politicians, fire them and get new ones.@@Chilli-dg7in
Cops know that thing we all do when they are around. We suddenly drive at or under the speed limit waiting for them to pass. That wouldn't raise their suspicion.
Thought this was gonna be one I didn't see based off the thumbnail.
6:30 Usually weed and speeding are just a ticket and a fine. I guess since he admitted he smoked an hour ago, technically the cop could arrest him for driving under the influence, but since the kid up to this point has cooperated for the most part I think the cop was giving him the benefit of the doubt. It takes a real asshole cop to arrest someone for a DUI just because they smoked an hour ago and are now driving. I would say most cops wouldn't arrest him at that point, but technically he could've.
Driven stolen cars, smoking weed, murder, body in trunk, a shooting all that shit. And the inability to simply drive the speed limit is what got em all caught.
Dave, at that moment everything the cop finds so far seems to be misdemeanors. No felonies yet that would make him think to handcuff him. The cop doesn't seem to see him as a threat yet at this point.
I often go 28 in a 30 as if get downhill parts then make sure not go speeding as of it
There is no brother. This guy just lied and said his brother gave him permission to drive it. But in reality he killed a guy, and stole the car. Apparently he was going to dump/hide the body because he had just stolen it. But was caught speeding on the way. He may have gotten away with it if he wasn’t speeding.
He didn’t detain him originally so that he was able to be on his laptop and phone with him not hearing it, if he was in the backseat he’d hear.
When i was 18 i was driving a 2.5 ton Chevy Astro van 😂
Unless the teen have rich parents . I worked at SFO and saw a teenager driving a Maserati
If you just got fired from your job for stealing shoes and throwing them in the trunk of your car, what would you be?
"Given the boot for putting boots in your boot."
Take my upvote and GTFO!😂😂😂
The guy in the trunk isn't the brother. They have different last names.
Never met 2 black brothers with different fathers?
@@willvr4doesn't matter, they weren't brothers or related. This was an attempted robbery gone wrong.
First hiii office blokes 💯❤️ imagine what would have happened...there is a dead body in the car...and the guy isn't at all speeding...n driving slowly. He would have never been found. N would have ran away easily.👍👍👍👍 Only the speeding caught him. Wowww!
My first car was a ‘78 Chevy c10 step side pickup with a 350
Kid seems to Dense to figure out what's happening.
They had never seen or met each other before. He stopped the car, approached and shot point blank behind the drivvers head. Made sure he was dead and put him in the trunk.
The CAR IS STOLEN!!! DUH!!!! HE'S GOT NO LICENSE!!!👁👁
I'm in So. Cal. And we've got an up tick in Covid!!!!😵😵😵😵
I'm going to say, based on the suspect drivers body language and nervousness that he knows about the body in the trunk and his brother killed him.
This was less than an hour from my house. Crazy
Bless you, Daz
I paused it when you blokes were contemplating what might have happened. My thoughts are: The brother was the driver and got shot at some point when they stole the car.
Pressing play now to find out now....
If Dave starts a pig farm...then you should be very nervous. Just like the movie Snatch.
Body in the boot! I know what your saying. I say trunk, but on with the investigation.
There’s plenty of 18 yr olds driving cars like that
I’m think the guy knew there was a body. That’s why he was acting so weird when pulled over and lying. He had already confessed to the weed and speeding why act weird and lie after that? Now watching the rest to see if I’m right. The question is did he kill them or moving the body for his brother. My guess is he is moving it for his brother. Which would explain not running from police because he’s not that level of bad guy but does know about the body and what his brother did.
I first car was 3.4 liter 2001 Chevy Impala full-size car
It’s always the driving!! If you’re transporting dodgy shit just drive like a grandma!
Man I got it too and I’m here in the U.S.!
the boot? you call the trunk of a car a boot i've learned something new
We also don't call the hood the hood either 😂
New strain they created lol this time
😂 it takes time to get to a golf gti... bro thats a toy over here. chargers, mustangs, challengers all owned by kids here. you can pick them up cheap used. Car doesnt have to be registered to the owner of the vehicle here in certain states
"There's gotta be some kind of logic behind the stupid lies that he's saying." Look at him and think again!
What does looks have to do with it? Listening to him speak and hem and haw is enough to know he's not that bright.
@@Grizazzle I wrote it in an awkward manner. I meant "look at what he says and does..." Am not always the most eloquent.
POPULATION CONTROL!!! LESS OF THESE DUDES!!!
KID'S HIGH, DRIVE HOT ROD SPEEDING, BULLET HOLES...DETAIN HIM!!!
No License, speeding, and high all while having a body in the trunk. How stupid can one be? Thank god the majority of criminals are idiots.
U got a body in the trunk you might as well just step on the gas and run cuz your life is over when found
Well, at least you can tell it wasn't premeditated. Way too sloppy, anf the kid clearly didn't know how to handle himself in front of the cop. I'm no master criminal, but the last thing I'm doing is driving high and recklessly if I know there's a body in my trunk. RIP to the deceased.
I'm Hella disappointed that this bs happened in my hometown.
It isn't that uncommon to see someone 18 to 25 years old driving a high-powered sports car in Louisiana.
The car was stolen and the dude in the trunk was the owner and killed during the theft.
Idk if the suspect is the one who killed the cars owner and put him in the trunk, but he was aware of everything.
Dave’s alive!
Awwww damnit Daz is back 😥
I live in So. Cal. And L.A. COPS, CHP, AND SHERIFFS ARE STRICT!!!!
It is possible that he wasn't alone doing the crime and wasn't the shooter, not saying that's better, but sometimes kids that young aren't the shot callers, and they're expected to transport the body. The time he'll serve would mostly be the same, but he's gonna take the full hit or there will be consequences for snitching.
Yeah even though the subtitles said “I just hit him” it sounded more like he was saying hid instead of hit 16:03
@@civilwarguy4740that's exactly what he said, "hid" him.
Goin 5 over the speed limit isn’t speeding
WHAT A WASTE OF LIFE!!!!😵😝😝😵
You blokes are so naive. 😂
Love no-nonsense cops. My only criticism would be that he shouldn't let the guy play on his phone. Put that shit on the rooftop. Otherwise, this guy is a template for how LEO should be.
He did make hin put the phone on the car there is another video that show the whole thing.
Found out it was around my area .
Dude could have given him a fake name and bolted while he was searching vehicle easily and got away with it all…. Maybe.
Whoever made this video didnt have the story right 100%. really weird how he presented it. He made it confusing. The original video with just the cop video is better to watch. Im so confused as to why the relayer on the video is saying the deceased and the killer were brothers when they were not and he did not give permission to use his car. he was robbed and killed..
Basic long story short. It was a robbery and car jacking gone wrong. Then on the way to dump the body bro guy smoked up and started speeding down the road and got pulled over for his speeding.
Classic case of dumb criminals.
Haven’t watched the video until the end, but dude should have just said “lawyer’. Granted, it’s a legit traffic stop, which is civil, not criminal… dumbass gave them consent to look at everything .. bullet holes In my car… maybe I like shooting my cars ( probable doubt). He should have never given consent
The American south is a lot like Eastern Russia.
Ok red you were wrong 😮😂❤
More and more police chase, family guy, fail army and American dad please love u office blokes 💯❤️
I've watched the entire incident as well as many police videos and i'm not a big fan of this edit. It tells the story but it mixes some things up, doesn't show an accurate timeline, and definitely could've used better commentary to explain the situation as the officer was trying to figure it out. The end wrap up is good but he's definitely done better on other videos
Lol you do not tell the police anything.
edit: You also do not let them search your car.
Good luck saying no when you’ve got bullet holes and you’re driving a stolen car
@@aj897 They cannot prove anything.
@@minuette1752 They can prove that car belonged to another person and it has bullet holes...............
Plenty of probable cause. Stop talking like you know what's up.
None of this matters. The guy driving has no license. He can't drive the car off. The car will get impounded and when there they are allowed to do an inventory search. The body was getting found wether this kid said yes or no.
Blokes!
Wow
Suspicious when a kid is driving a car like that? Had to laugh, many of my young co-workers drive new cars and trucks worth four times what I paid for my first new car at age 50. They live at home and things like insurance, rent/home payments, utility bills are non existent. Bullet holes, yeah that wouldn't raise my suspicion either. The world has changed.
Every time I see this video The only thing I can say is those officers need to push away from the donuts. If that kid had ran, they would have heart attacks
That crawfish is catching up to em😂
You should do some reactions to a channel called Lackluster. They do body cam videos of corrupt cops who get arrested or fired. Like the video of a man getting arrested for resisting arrest when he was never arrested. The female cop got fired for that.
Definitely! I love Lackluster.
What’s the title of the one you’re talking about?
@@civilwarguy4740 It's the second-newest video on the channel. Unhinged cop fired after this video. The one with the disabled man is also good.
