I went from 145lbs to 260lbs then down to 174lbs … working my way back down… my husband NEVER told me I was fat or body shamed me. He’s a keeper! I’m my own worst enemy.
When Chance mentioned feeling like another woman was talking about Tab when she would speak negatively about herself I could relate. When my friends talk that way about themselves I’m quick to say “Don’t talk about my YOU like that!” Sometimes we need a reminder of the person we are from out loved one’s perspective. 18:12
I wish my ex was like Chance. My ex was a full blown narcissist who got much worse the longer we were married. I always took care of my weight and appearance. Others thought I was good. However, not only did my ex make me feel horrible about my body, but colorism was an issue for him too. He liked them light skin, slim and long "good hair". I was dark skin, nice shape but curvy (after baby), with shoulder length permed hair. I could NEVER measure up in his eyes and he always let me know through his actions. My self-esteem took a huge blow. It has taken a lot post-divorce to feel better about myself. Seeing Tab and Chance gives me hope.
I know exactly how you feel I was too was but now separated from a narcissist and I was just telling my friend this morning how he picked me apart and I can't wait to God since me somebody that will just love me for my dimples imperfections and all
I’m so happy and proud for you that you were released from that man and that situation and took the steps to heal from that. 💅🏾 I had a narcissist parent and am in the process of healing myself as well.
How nice🙏🏾❤. I can’t wait for that opportunity. My 7 yr old twin girls want to meet Tab also. They just love Tab Time on YT❤. I explain how positive & uplifting this couple is. We use her hair products, Sunshine etc 😁
This also speaks to the type of friends that Chance have. They love and respect their women, and see their true value. Love and Respect!! Thank you for this conversation.
I needed to hear this tonight. I've always been "curvy". My whole life! But I lost over 120 pounds and kept it off for 7 years. The last year, I gained back 50 pounds. I've been struggling with the whole image situation. I believe God loves me for me and knows my heart but it's still a struggle! You all are a blessing! Thank you! 🙏
I wish this episode was longer!! I love how Chance said “it was like a another woman talking about his girl” my husband said something like this and it made me realize I had to get out of my head! Tab showing her stomach was everything! I love this couple! Prayers for God to remain a solid foundation for them. ❤
Now Tab don’t do caffeine 😂! But I got say , Chance broke this Friday all the down . When I felt confident so did my spouse being with me. Honey this our favorite couple right here ! 🤎🤎
I love the example that y’all set (whether you know it or not), for how a marriage is supposed to be. Or at least an important aspect, which is giving each other the freedom to be their authentic selves, and cherishing them exactly as they are in the moment.
If I could give this episode 10 thumbs up I would! It was just perfect. Everything Chance said was on point. I love how he loves her, and she him. And Tabitha is just so honest and brave. To show her old insecurities and still shine beautifully as she does it 😍 y’all beautiful just the way y’all are. Keep up with the positive content please. We need more of that in todays world
Yes some men are like Chance. Unfortunately my ex wasn't that way. He would always say you look great except...well saying except just negated that I look great! I took a blow to my self esteem for a while. He always complained about my weight. Meanwhile he was overweight and it never bothered me. Anyway, thanks for all the Fridays!!! Love y'all ❤️
Well said ! My narcissist ex made me low so he felt better and higher of himself . My spouse now is my motivation and benefits 😂 we look great honey ! 🤎
Tabitha I can relate to everything that you are saying. My husband is like Chance, he didn't relate to how I was looking like I did. My husband said that he loved me just the way I was fat, skinny, whatever. I just didn't like the way that I looked after I had my last two children. I had 5 in all. But today at 75 years old, I love the way I look! Most people think that I am 45 or 50 years old and I just smile.🤗 This was definitely a great topic to talk about because a lot of people are very insecure about themselves! My husband still calls me his girlfriend and I still call him my boyfriend after being married for 51 years! Peace and Blessings to You and Chance and I truly enjoyed watching this video! God Bless. ❤🙏❤
Before even listening to the intro, I just want Tab and Chance to know how amazing I believe they are. The transparency and love you have for each other shines brighter than my phone screen. It gives me hope that we all will receive this type of love. I love you both from the east coast (North Carolina). You both are amazing.
Words cannot express how happy I am watching this so true ! I’m 42 and the older I get the more I’ve enjoyed embracing who I am. Thank you for being your authentic self ! ❤
Nobody can beat us up like we beat ourselves up. Sad and we must stop it! Thick is nice just be healthy. You look good Tab...awww Chance that's nice. You a good man.
Women see ourselves as a flower but men are looking more so at the necter of the flower in addition to the flower... the necter being the unseen treasure...
My son is thin like Thundercat. I always told him he is built for speed . He complains that people don’t mind telling you your skinny or making jokes but it’s not ok to tell someone they are fat. Respect goes both ways . Loved this subject and y’all communicate in such a real way ❤ #sipppp
Tab you bring it all out of hubby,Chance. 25 years in for me I’m finally learning to shut up and let him express himself…pray for a Sista, love y’all!!!
I love how comfortable chance has become on your channel. When you just started he was a little shy. Love you guys. Congrats to you tab for all your achievements
I had to chime in when Chance was speaking about us people with high metabolism. I use to be called anorexia or be accused of starving myself...smh. For me, my mood changes when I can't fit into my clothes because of weight loss. Thank you for speaking about this.
You’re absolutely right about how our men can love on our bodies and compliment our flaws, but if we don’t believe it ourselves then it can’t fill the void
Tab you have a good one in Chance. The way he communicates his thoughts and feelings towards subjects that can either harm or heal a woman's inner psyche is wonderful. He is so supportive of you not just as a woman but a human and that's amazing. I wish you both continued blessings in all you do. 🙏
I hope you are going to continue doing Tab & Chance. In the short time I’ve been watching I’ve learned so much & other people need to hear this stuff & calm down & worry about the most important things. Like where you’re going to spend eternity
Tab and Chance give me a good, healthy laugh every week. Yall playfulness is so organic and sweet. *The quest for all of this perfection is causing women to lose their lives and at very early ages. Thank God I’ve never had an issue with thinking I needed to please anybody, with the look of my body but I have always taken care of myself and have been in the gym for years and eating pretty clean. At the end of the day health is the number one priority.*
Thank you so much Chance! That male perspective as it relates to what my husband may see in regards to what I deem as imperfections on my body (stretch marks, weight gain, cellulite, etc.). He has hinted at this perspective but never broke it down like you did.
I was so inspired by this. My last relationship was riddled with my own insecurities and hearing Chance speak to you about how he saw you, it reminded me that there are people in this world who are being loved I spite of their insecurities. I know you both have loved each other this way. Thank you for allowing us into your world in this way 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
I like how Chance is given his perspective. This is a great topic and I experience body shaming as well. But i'm learning to love my curves but each day is a struggle
I love this couple here. You all seem so authentic. This is a great topic for couples because I also think men need to know women like to hear they are still attracted to us, that we still got it, that our imperfections are perfect to you. The bottom line is men need to see what he can get but imagine what he can have.
All women need to hear this convo. I am not married but I've dated men who didn't care about my stretch marks. Even when I pointed them out, the response was "ain't nothing wrong with your stomache" "you had kids" "you still look good" and my favorite "I love your body, you so soft" Men who genuinely love and care for you, ladies, will see that area of weakness (poor body image, low self esteem, & etc...) and encourage you and help to strengthen you.
Really appreciated this episode and love the transparency both of you shared. They do say we are our worst critique but to know that you have a person cheering you on and loving you regardless of how you don't see yourself in the best light at times is a true treasure.
This transparency is SO healing! The images and expectations for a woman's body have never been portrayed accurately! Thank you Tab! Show everyone what most of us are working with FOR REAL!
This was so needed Thank you Tab for speaking about how the ladies feel. Growing up my father always talked about weight and men being visual. It made very insecure as a child and even now as a married woman.
I agree with Chance. The coke bottle reference makes me think of a Black Woman. Marilyn Monroe was a curvy, thick woman. The bidy image, size changes as the celebrities change. It was Twiggy in the 70's. Now, we have KK and several female rap artists who have altered the body to the illusion of thickness. The Black, female body is in style now. One more thought, moisturize your stomach and thighs all the time, before getting pregnant to help with stretch marks.
Yaw thank you! Thank you ! Yaw were so raw with this one! From the man’s and woman’s perspective. It’s beautiful to hear someone be transparent and real in this world full of fakeness! We all needed this one. I was Tab hiding them stretch marks after my kids.
This conversation was very refreshing. It was eye-opening to hear Chance's perspective of how he sees the changes in your body but his 'view', as your husband , is that of appreciation AND protection. Thanks for real topics and real conversations
I love black couples giving encouragement to each other and to all the couples who watch their videos ❤🙏🏾👏🏾👍🏾.Thank you so much and God blessings to your marriage and family.
This was a beautiful episode. I love how Chance said “watch how you talk about my girlfriend” or something like that. Because my husband be the same way. We’ve been married going on 7 years and my weight has always fluctuated. No matter my size, I haven’t been kind to myself. He gets offended when I say anything negative about myself. He tells me I’m beautiful many times a day. Deep down I know it too, I just gotta do what makes me feel good and confident. This really spoke to me❤
What Chance said about association; who we follow whether intentionally or unintended is very valuable because alot of time that's how we end up in trouble. Acknowledge where you're at in live is leveling up! Thanks for this guys
Honestly Tab you said it! I feel that way sometimes. With I feel awful. So if he see what I see he must think I am gross. Thank you for these conversations!
Chance is so right. It's the confidence level that affects your outlook. A positive attitude, tlc, and confidence is all the things men find most attractive. Most women like the confidence sturdiness and resilience to get things done.
So much goes into what we find attracts us, but I think the healthiest ones include the joy you bring to others, the way your smile lights up the room, the compassion you have for others, the way you up build others (and believes everyone should feel that), that you are brave in the face of adversity, the essence of you, in short. How wonderful to be treasured in this way. Thank you for a loving discussion 🥰
We see and love them for who they are now. However, it's also amazing how Tab talks about these insecurities and Chance loves her the same through it all. He doesn't get enough credit nor does he care to have it. He just wants her to be happy! ❤💙
Now that I’m listening to you two, that I think or negative thoughts about our body comes from what we as women say about ourselves, not so much what men think of us. This is healing and I am still trying to peacefully and happily except what my body looks like. We also associate these bodies as being sexually attractive. Who we trying to attract? Who are we trying to have sex with? I’m a grown woman 2 times 😂😂😂 and married almost 40 years. I’m still healing. Thanks Tab & Chance for Fridays
I love yall so much. This topic is definitely needed. I have no one to help me in this transition. With having 4 kids but being pregnant 9 times, my body has taken a toll on me. I always wonder if my husband really loves me, and he says the same thing Chance said. I thought he was lying, but apparently not. Thanks you guys for this. Love yall
Yes Tab! That part of the arm on a man is my Good Lord have mercy too!..LOL. Love y'all and the love y'all display for one another and the willingness to share ALL the stuff that comes along with relationships.
Tabitha and Chance thank you so much for sharing, I miss having these conversations, my best friend passed away unexpectedly 5 months ago after being apart of each other's lives for fourteen years. This has been good thanks. You're a beautiful couple.
I love what Chance said that "I see what you see but I don't see the way you see it"! That's a profound statement! I love it!
I like how chance is so thoughtful before he responds. He doesn't respond quickly but ponders before he speaks.
Wisdom...💯‼️

I do love them and it's rare indeed. You can see they are "solid" and truly love each other.
They are so cute together

I love how Chance be looking at her while she's talking about insecurities like "And you can still GET IT."
The way Unc takes care with what he says and how Auntie receives it ...sooo much love ❤️

These are some grown folks sharing a grown experience and I love it!
I sense vulnerability from both of them. I really appreciate their transparency and their courage to open up. This is beautiful.
Tab and Chance both have the most beautiful smiles. They demonstrate true FRIENDSHIP with each other.
This also speaks to the type of friends that Chance have. They love and respect their women, and see their true value. Love and Respect!! Thank you for this conversation.
Exactly... Most men are so superficial. We think we have to have a perfect body

Great conversation from both perspectives! Especially good to hear some of men's insecurities and also how they see us.❤
Yes Tab! That part of the arm on a man is my Good Lord have mercy too!..LOL. Love y'all and the love y'all display for one another and the willingness to share ALL the stuff that comes along with relationships.
Tab, I love your honesty!😂😂
Tabitha and Chance thank you so much for sharing, I miss having these conversations, my best friend passed away unexpectedly 5 months ago after being apart of each other's lives for fourteen years. This has been good thanks. You're a beautiful couple.
I’m so sorry for your loss 🙏🏾
This is one I needed to hear. Thank you Tab & Chance! You both are relationship goals. 💕💕💕
Uncle Chance is breaking it down...A real woman body and .mindset invites A real man into A secret privileged intimate place...Thx for the insight!!!!
“Perfect in your perfections “is a beautiful way for Chance to express and describe his feelings towards Tab.
