I love everything about this. I love how Mr. Newton has been open to being her stepfather and how he continues to be in her life despite things not working out with her mother. This is so dope and I wish more men would take his lead. So proud of this.

All kids need to feel special, wanted, valued and loved. They may not show it, but this will help her to make the BEST decisions in life and not fall prey to peer pressure. A father just talking to his daughter at the age they really need us. This video my not go "viral" per say, but present fathers with daughters will appreciate this video. Super Salute. This was informative, getting a different perspective from a 15 yr old. I actually learned some things about how the younger generation views the world... I need to talk to my kids more.
One conversation leads to another one just by taking something the youth said that you can build on. We want our children to know that it's about making some choices before it happens sometimes things go wrong and you could end up in the hospital for something a friend gave you so yes, have your own experience but you couldn't say that you didn't get the information. Another thing about movies and other television shows maybe just acting but it really doesn't matter because you can look up some of these stories and see that there is some truth so that you can live in the real world and be away because what you don't be aware of is the thing that someone is plotting so parents and others speak to us before we get outside snd think that we are free without thinking snd chosen. Real freedom cause from speaking the truth of people who have wisdom and are sharing with you that you don't have to try everything just because you can and have that experience but if you do no one owes you anything just be responsible for what you do and who you allow in your life. People are waiting and banking on our kids and when your daughter said: "she wants to hang are and have fun" she has to know that it's real and those words are like gold to the ears of the people who want you to have fun but it all won't be fun..you don't want to get trapped in a life where you forget or never learn who you are. Be good to yourself and think about this talk with you dad. "One pinky, one finger and one thumb is one love"
Yes do that and you'll feel really good about your relationship with your kid's because they will come to you first before any decisions are made because they trust you

From watching this video it’s easy to see that Cam’s daughter is very intelligent and confident. I truly believe that comes from Cam being present in her life, him being a protector and provider and just being what a man is supposed to be. Obviously her mom did a tremendous job as well but just based on the video I just had to praise Cam. Honestly I hope my daughter is like this.

My Dad was a pro NFL player as well, and he was a lot like Cam. It is like this video: getting to know each of your children's personalities and allowing the atmosphere to be inviting and free to speak our minds, even when upset with Dad about something. It's super unfortunate that my grandchildren don't have a constant Dad in their lives like I did, but I make sure to have these kinds of talks with them and my adult daughter ❤

DEEP REVERENCE!!! About a week ago I had a similar conversation with my soon to be 13 year old daughter who had been visiting me. To spice things up, we spoke in a British accent. She was truly engaged. I took alot away from our conversation and felt like it is my duty to engage more with her as she grows and develops in today's society. It is my belief that strong fathers or father-figures can play a pivotal role in a young lady's life.

I am so impressed. She is smart, articulate and way ahead of anyone who tries to fool her or take advantage. I like the idea of this kind of open transparent conversations. Kids will be kids. But at least she is not naïve about the things discussed, and can make informed decisions for herself, rather then doing whatever her peers are doing. In the end that is all you can ask for.

It’s amazing how kids with broken homes considers who are their siblings regardless of who the parents might claim. 😂 I got tickled when she said she had 4 siblings because I was the same way growing up. My siblings were my mama’s kids. Period 😂
