It's mindblowing how Amazon didn't realize this. They could have produced a tv series which people would watch and talk about even in 30 years, but instead they decided to produce The Rings of Power.....
The LOTR community is unmatched and so is the story. Crazy how so many people can be so strongly invested in a 20 year old trilogy, just proves how incredible Tolkien’s and Jackson’s work really is
Good stories are (or should I say "were"?) so good that they could be 20 or 200 years old and it still wouldn't make a difference. That used to be understood, but now we are in the age of consuming, without self-control.

The fact that I went from "I'll give this a look" to actually watching the whole video, is a real testament to the quality of this film. This is also really well put together, so thank you.
I couldn't watch it. The fast editing where it just became an unending of midsentences randomly thrown in and cutoff, it seriously sound like a schizophrenics word salad.
I'd so much wish for an uncut version of all 3 movies. No matter how long they'd be... 20 hours per movie? No problem... that's two movies per weekend to watch. :D
Peter Jackson mentioned on Twitter in 2014 that there could be even longer versions released of each film, if enough people were interested. No idea what came of it or whether he's working on it. Let's hope it happens some day
@@jkfozul2316 fr, i literally watched all the behind the scenes of both trilogy made by peter. his dedication is amazing, even the jokes in the behind the scenes series!
I loved it when Miranda Otto shared that photo of Eowyn and Faramir's wedding costumes. Heard about that scene for years and then finally got a look at it. Such amazing costumes! We deserve to see that one day. I'd love a whole book just on the costumes in the films, very sad we never got one.
Yes! I comment on every Weta Workshop social media post I see, begging them for a comprehensive costume book! They need to know that there is serious demand.
@@julesjma Nope! There's some details in the Art Of books but dedicated costume book. It's much more about the armour, weaponry and make-up side than the fabric and costume details. 😔
That always has hurt my soul, I love Faramir and Eowyn and I desperately hope that we can see that scene someday. I really wish that the trilogy was able to have more scenes with them, there's a great one in the extended edition but alas it's so short. In the theatrical edition the most they show is them smiling at each other at Aragorn's coronation.
Neat detail: When Gil-Galad yells "Gorthaur!" he's using an old Elvish name for Sauron, from the time when the Elves fought Sauron's master Morgoth. He's challenging Sauron to battle.
To gather all this material and to do the research of what was cut out (and finding audio clips of people confirming the edited/deleted scenes) must of been a Herculean task. Great job, man! Wonderfully edited and it's all very focused and clear! btw, I heard on the audio commentary of the extended cut of TTT & TROFK - that Jackson kept saying "Oh, we'll put that scene in the 25th anniversary or the 30th anniversary edition" - sounded like he was joking and playing - but maybe not - I hope Jackson and his team will release a super deluxe edition of all of this material - the entire trilogy will be like 10 hours long - which I believe fine by all of us!
How is all this stuff still not even officially collected as a bonus feature ? All of this stuff especially from Fellowship of the Ring is legendary and deserves to be seen. To hear Peter Jackson say that they did film a lot of certain scenes (like a young Aragorn and Arwen when they 1st met) and that they just never made it into any kind of cut has had me salivating just to see those damn scenes for so long now. Jackson even jokingly says that maybe they'll put them into a 50th Anniversary box set or something LOL fingers crossed we don't have to wait till 50
What I love about these films is the attention to detail. What Tolkien did with the written word, all this work to make languages that hardly appear in the novels, the crew did with the film, all this work on set design, costume design... It creates such a real, ancient place. Nothing like it.
I think the one of Sauron grabbing Gil Galad would have explained why Sauron reached out for Isildur more. Without it, it seems a bit random why Sauron would suddenly decide to grab Isildur instead of just smashing him with his mace.
One of the few things I don't like about the movies is the way Sauron's death scene is handled in Fellowship. Wish they'd actually shown him fighting Elendil and Gil-galad. I understand why it was cut for narrative expedience though.
You mean that Sauron being an arrogant, near all-powerful asshole on the verge of victory ISN'T enough of an explanation as to why he would want to kill the son of one of his greatest enemies with his bare hands? And that's without taking into account that he had just killed Gil-Galad, a legendary elven king, with his bare, burning hands. It's not a plot hole, or contrivance, or convenience. It's characterization.
@@ThatOtherGuyOverThere But then it only works if you go into it already knowing all the lore. A new viewer who has never even heard of Gil-Galad or all that other stuff will only see a large armored dude reaching out his hand to this son of the king.
For movie perspective it would strenghten the reasoning of the decision Sauron took reaching Isildur like that is his signature move but for bookwise, actually Gil-Galad and Elendil wore down Sauron in the cost of their lives and Sauron fell down with them. Isildur then, just cut it from the hands of the unconscious Sauron, maybe only materialized or alive by the power of his ring at that moment. So, either way, the approach they took has flaws but for movie i think it is just right. In a saga opening intro scene no one knows who the hell is Sauron, Gil-Galad, Elendil etc. so they only put on screen that some evil god-like creature was over confident and paid his arrogance dearly.
It's such a pity that so many scenes were cut out and weren't added in the extended editions. I can well imagine all the hardwork and efforts in making this trilogy. A lot of these scenes can be incorporated in the extended editions for the 25th anniversary especially the epilogue of Gimli, Legolas and Èowyn&Faramir's wedding. Thank you so much for this seamless compilation!
Over 20 years later, there are so many fans willing to "do their part" in playing an active role in tracking down, recording, and preserving every scrap of knowledge they can about these films. You do it with your incredible familiarity with unreleased scenes and promotional photography, or even just the scenes that are rumored to exist. I've been doing it by creating screen-accurate saddles and tack for my horses and sharing my work for others to do the same builds, while I've got friends in the cosplay community who spend thousands of hours on costumes and armor indistinguishable to those worn in the films. I know people who work hard to archive old websites or blogs that have interviews from Weta artists or production crew in the early 2000s on topics ranging from Arwen's makeup to the Minas Tirith miniatures. Many of those early online resources are already lost forever, and more will vanish if we don't take action. As a professional archaeologist, I see this kind of fan labor as a form of archaeology as well: we need to preserve this "cultural heritage" of the Lord of the Rings for our children and grandchildren, so that not only the films but the knowledge of HOW they made the best trilogy of all time will last forever.
I think as time passes your, and others work will be appreciated greatly. Modern cinema seems to lack a lot of things that LOTR did so perfectly and it seems almost like an artifact from different times (especially in the special effect department). Bravo!
@@Wayzor_ I own the extended boxed sets and have watched everything on them dozens of times (I'm a bit obsessed). A lot of the content here, both footage and photos, cannot be found there. For instance, many of the photos were only released in advertising campaigns from 2000-2002, or the Making of the Lord of the Rings feature by Costa Botes contains a lot of footage never seen in any of the DVD releases. The image of Éowyn and Faramir at their wedding was only released recently by Miranda Otto on Twitter. Fans had heard rumors that such a scene had been filmed, but we never saw any proof of it until she posted the photo in April 2019.
Peter Jackson is looking pretty bloody super human at the moment, even criticism of the Hobbit films has died down. Once you see what a mess of things others can make, you realise what a genius Peter Jackson is. And I love the bits of him speaking about his respect for Tolkien, that is why his films are great.
@@SanctusBacchus The fan edits really only remove the most egregious issues. Doesn’t seem like a good use of time when there are so many great films out there that don’t need to be re-edited to be bearable.
I feel so lucky that these movies were such a big part of my childhood. Not only did they introduce me to Tolkien's beautiful worlds but they also kickstarted a love for storytelling in general. Even now as a young adult I still daydream about stepping into Middle Earth and exploring each little corner that the movies only hint at Huge thanks to Tolkien for creating such a lovely world, and I feel like PJ and the team deserve equal praise for the way they brought it to life
This is simply amazing. You know what ? I think that we, the fans, could keep sharing this until it finally gets to Peter Jackson and Warner Brothers. It's totally possible for us to have the extended edition of the " extended edition" one day if we try hard enough. If you stop to think about, Blade runner has had 7 different cuts throughout the years and if it wasn't for the fans on social media, Zack Snyder could've never finished his Justice League. So, como on guys, we can make this happen !!!!
Elrond and Arwen at Lothlórien would have been so nice to see. I WANT that 21-25 year anniversary, 7h long re-edited extended edition please!! With all the content here and more.
I would love to have them on Blu- Ray ,if possible! I don't care how long the extended movies would be ! I just love Lord of The Rings ! Can't get enough of it ! ❤️😍
This video makes me overwhelmed with happiness and nostalgia. They should've included literally every deleted scene in the extended cuts or made a premium extended cut. If they were worried about the money it would've taken to create that, us fans would've made sure they profited from it.
This must have taken an incredible amount of work to compile all those snippets into a longer video, so thank you for your efforts and sharing it with us!
I remember seeing the extended cut for the first time as a kid, after seeing the theatrical version back and forth dozens of times, learning theres more was like diving into a cave full of treasure, then finding out about behind the scenes appenices made happy like nothing else, now watching this reminds me of those moments.
TOFFEES? Glad that idea was abandoned. Gandalf trying to give up smoking would have yanked us out of the mythical past and into 20th century issues in a flash.
Good thing this wasn't made today since Warner Bros doesn't allow characters to smoke. Colin Farrell said he wanted to smoke a cigar as the Penguin in "The Batman" film but he said the studio wouldn't let him. Smh
@@aerinsoleris it's a policy that many have adapted. Colin Farrell even remarked that it was stupid. He even asked if he could have an unlit cigar in his mouth and they still said no. Disney also has a no smoking policy in their fictional movies unless it was a historical film. The same goes for The Coalition who makes gears of war. Can show someone getting chainsawed in half but someone smoking a cigarette is too much of a bad influence lol
It would be my absolute joy if Jackson incorporated these into the 'final cut' for release on the 25th anniversary. Make it 4K and it's immediately in my collection.
I saw an interview somewhere where Peter Jackson said he had something like 50 or 60 hours sitting in a warehouse of unused footage. He said a lot of it is good and just too much for a movie to be watchable. Some RUclipsrs have suggested editing that footage into a Snyder Cut style miniseries with a season for each movie. I would totally watch that. I'm not sure if WB is allow to release it as a show, however, since Amazon has the TV rights, but it would be so great if they could. We are coming up on the 25th Anniversary and a 30-40 hour super cut made into a miniseries with remastered footage and updated CGI for the scenes that need it would be an amazing way to celebrate.
The reason why the movies are so timeless IS because of the lack of CGI and how things feel so real like you're in the world with them - because Jackson was a genius in his filming locations to make this real world have fantasy elements attached
"9 Companions to match the 9 Ringwraiths" I've watched this trilogy at least 3 times a year for 20+ years and never thought about that until watching your video. Well done. You have inspired me to watch the trilogy... again :)
"The Company of the Ring shall be Nine; and the Nine Walkers shall be set against the Nine Riders that are evil. With you and your faithful servant, Gandalf will go; for this shall be his great task, and maybe the end of his labours."
I feel so nostalgic after watching this. What a masterpiece of human interaction it was... a symphony.. made all the more obvious by the utter failure of Rings of Power.
I love seeing the different shots, ideas, alternative endings, and it also emphasizes to me just how genius the end product came to be. As wonderful as it is to see the unused footage, it was for the most part the right call to go without them. It must hurt sometimes to leave things on the editing room floor but it truly shows the quality of their craft that they knew when to cut something out to make the movie shine. Thank you so much for taking the time to make and share this!
The Arwen Alternate (the first time we see her) is because they didn't like how the costume looked on camera when they filmed with it so changed the costume. You actually see all three costumes in the finished scene, the first one as she rides in and dismounts (the cloak gives that lovely halo), the second when it cuts back to her (the one they changed to) and then the riding outfit you see for the rest of the scene. You've done an amazing job with this video! I'm only a short way in!
I would have liked to see Eowyn's fight scenes in the caverns. And I would like to see the younger Arwen and Aragorn together, as well as the scene with Frodo at Rivendell; seeing Arwen. The scene where Frodo tells Sam to go home, and Gollum's shenanigans with the lembas bread; was one scene that really grated on me and the dialog just wasn't right; too much like modern slang. Wow, that scene between Elijah and Andy, in Shelob's cave. I much prefer the gentle kiss between Arwen and Aragorn. The part where he suddenly seized her in his arms; again it felt too modern. It didn't fit with the time period, or with Arwen's status.
I’m the opposite when it comes to the kiss. The kiss that’s in the film is quite possibly my favorite cinematic kiss of all time. I just love how, up to that point, Aragorn doesn’t know if he’ll ever see Arwen again, and with the exception of a couple displays of strong emotion, Aragorn is pretty reserved so that burst of passion just seemed nicely timed. I mean, the look of surprise on his face when he realizes Arwen is there, the bewilderment when she bows to him, her little smile of relief when he lifts her chin up, then that passionate sweep into his arms as he kisses her, the way his eyes linger open for just a moment when she kisses him before he sinks into not only the kiss but the realization the woman he loves is here, she still loves him, and he’s finally in a position where they can be together. Then of course the absolute adorable little crown bump they do when he’s just fawning over her and Liv’s gorgeous smile and laugh as she hugs him. Such a beautiful expression of emotion and those two played it perfectly. If a different version had been released (or heaven forbid the one with the body double) and then I found out years later a more passionate, emotional version existed, I’d pitch a fit. 😂 Cause obviously I have strong feelings about that scene. 😂 But I do understand the bit about Arwen’s status and even Aragorn’s at that point with being king- it’s certainly not traditional for royalty to have public displays of affection like that and then elves in general are much more reserved. With how much cut footage they have, they could probably do an alternate ending featuring the changes to the coronation scene as well as the epilogue.
@@stardustbuilt obviously you do feel very strongly about that scene. I'm cool with that, and with anyone who loves these movies as much as I do. I just wished for more scenes from the books. There is a wonderful, wonderful scene in the book that has Frodo and Gandalf watching a party of Elves as they come riding to Gondor in the twilight of Midsummer's Eve, and Arwen, Elrond, Galadrial, Celeborn, and many High Elves are among them. And they glimmer like starlight. And Frodo looks at Gandalf and says, " This is the ending. Now not day only shall be beloved, but night too shall be beautiful and blessed and all its fears pass away."
They had been apart for a long time, they both nearly died and loved each other very deeply. A good snog, as Peter put it, would have been actual. Perhaps not appropriate for the event, but i know I and the theater cheered when it happened. :)
Well, you allready mentioned things not "fitting time period" or things being out of place. So would have been Eowyn (Princess of Rohan) giving labour to a randome peasant woman in the glittering caves and then fighting fully armed, berserking Uruk-Hai just with a sword alone. That would have been quite out of place and unfitting. Also it would have undermind the importance of her joining the ride to Minas tirith, because that really was the Moment she had strived for all her live, as she has a warrior heart. Her just having an (unrealistic) fight in the glittering caves would have been out of place.
Idk I think that while having a gentler kiss between them would make more sense, it looks so much better in the scene, and the way the music swells is so perfect they basically had to make good use of it. I would have loved to see younger Aragorn and Arwen, I wish they'd have shown us a little more of that. I'm quite glad they didn't have Eowyn fighting in the caves, it would have taken away from her later actions.
I really hope we eventually get a supercut with the unused footage. Even if it slows the movie down, we've had those good experiences with the theatrical and extended editions. Give us the supercut!
@@jamesbarker2567 That's not how movies work. Once they go over a certain length, the amount of shows they can fit in each cinema per day drastically drops, which means less profits. Plus most people do not want to sit in an uncomfortable cinema chair for 4+ hours. Even the theatrical release of Return of the King was deemed to be too long for cinema-goers, let alone the extended edition.
@@porcu12345 Maybe I Am An Somewhat Of An Exception then Because I Certainly Would Sit In Cinema For 5 Hours Or More If It Was Tolkien Middle Earth Related
I would have loved that Frodo become Gollumish scene being in the movie. Somehow it would have added som much to make the audience see what Frodo actually was risking and fighting against within himself.
I would argue it's not necessary. The personal risk is already reflected in Bilbo's early dialogue, and Smeagol. Would have probably been remembered as an awkward scene more than anything.
I will seriously cry if they ever release a uncut version of the trilogy with all these scenes. We already have an extended version, this would be a second treat, even better😭
I think the Lothlórien part would've been better with the killing of the goblins. The elves shoving their bows in their faces was kinda dumb. Also cutting ANYTHING that involves Boromir was a bad move.
That red Orc was sweet. This is a great video! I’ve seen the extended versions so many times that I forget what the theatrical cuts are like, so these scenes are crazy to me
As much as I love Arwen and Liv’s performance, and as cool as it would have been to see - I am glad they removed her from fighting in Helms Deep. It would have strayed just much too far from her canon story, given how much they already added to include her.
A big thank you for putting this all together! I am so happy that I got to see these extra scenes. There was so much Arwen/Aragorn footage that got cut from the film. It makes me quite sad since I really loved Liv's performance. I hope at some point in the future, we're able to see the Arwen/Aragorn flower field scene and Arwen's library scene! And I'd also love to see Eowyn and Faramir's wedding. Keeping my fingers crossed for the next anniversary release!
Seeing these deleted scenes, I can say that what makes these movies so great is not just what was in them, but what they left out. For example I'm so happy they didn't include the giving birth in Glittering Caves. That's such a cliche thrope for example. It would devalue the movie. Same with those flashbacks at 52:55. It's a great trailer reel, but it just doesn't feel right showing a bunch of flashbacks like that in the movie. We've followed Aragorn through the story. We've seen him grow and we know where he is. We don't need a "previously on The Lord of the Rings" montage to remind us. So again - some very good judgement calls on the editing floor.
Aragorn in fancy clothing with Arwen is actually prequel material . It's when Aragorn visits Lothlorien after fighting for Denethor's father against the pirates . He was already in love with Arwen, so Galadriel gave them a 3 day holiday together in her magic forrest .
I would love to watch the "Complete" verson of the Lord of the Rings; the super cut. I bet it would make the lord of the rings experience very new and much deeper and some what feel even realer than it already is. I bet it would even rival the "Rings of Power series"
After 20 years and countless times watching the movies and special features it's incredible to still come across something new. Thank you so much for putting this together and releasing it.
THE LORD OF THE RINGS is a journey. It is not a short journey. Rather, it is a meaningful journey teaching patience, resilience, fortitude, faithfulness, friendship, sacrifice and the dangers of falling prey to evil. As such, I'd happily watch a complete edition of this film even if it was 100 hours long.
Liv Tyler has to have one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Ever. And is it just me who remembers the elves running and frolicking in the woods in the Prologue??? Or is it just Mandela Effect in action lmao. I'm sure I've seen that scene back in the day.
While I get why they cut the Aragorn vs Sauron duel, can y’all imagine how dope that would’ve been to see??? Even just watching the tiny bit we got in this I damn near got goosebumps at what it could’ve been
I think it would have been cool to keep the shot where Sauron appears in his angelic form (even though it breaks the lore a bit). Physically showing up and fighting Aragorn might have been a bit cheesy, but his other-worldly angel form showing for a few seconds could have been a really spooky/ chilling moment to give Sauron a bit more presence and character.
@@redpandarampage2191 I absolutely agree, I think it would've done so much for Sauron as an overall antagonist. Throughout the trilogy he's been represented less as a physical force and more as a looming shadow over Middle Earth, so I feel like having him materialize into said angelic form would have been perfect to drive home how remarkably dangerous Sauron really is
@@redpandarampage2191 yeah they could've at least kept that. But even in the books Sauron has a physical form. Gollum even describes him as having only 4 fingers. Obviously Sauron is much weaker and has not regained his full strength without the ring. Even in the deleted scene where Aragorn reveals himself to Sauron through the Palantia we can see Sauron briefly.
Peter mentions a 25th Anniversary version and asked someone (Fran probably) to remind him at the 20th year. It's already the 21st year, I hope someone reminded him! Timestamp at 49:20
Lawrence makoare also confirmed in an interview the deleted scene where Lurtz kills the orc overseer: as he descrived it, Saruman speaks to the Uruks but Lurtz isn't paying attention, the orc overseer starts to whipe him, but Lurtz strangles and kills the orc (in the same manner he strangles the orc that helps him get out of the pit once he is born)
I can only imagine what it must have felt like to be a member of the cast or crew at the premiere and to have such a feeling of pride regarding what is on the big screen and such a feeling of loss from whatever didn't make it into the final cut. Gave a like to this video and a comment to help the algorithm! 😄👍

The LOTR community is unmatched and so is the story. Crazy how so many people can be so strongly invested in a 20 year old trilogy, just proves how incredible Tolkien’s and Jackson’s work really is
Closer to 75 years! Principal writing completed in 1949, first part released July 1954 .
Good stories are (or should I say "were"?) so good that they could be 20 or 200 years old and it still wouldn't make a difference. That used to be understood, but now we are in the age of consuming, without self-control.
This is nothing special. Every beloved movie series is hold in regard. Back to the Future, as an example.

That was never done? The costumes were meticulous and painstaking.
I would pay SO MUCH MONEY for a book like this.
Neat detail: When Gil-Galad yells "Gorthaur!" he's using an old Elvish name for Sauron, from the time when the Elves fought Sauron's master Morgoth. He's challenging Sauron to battle.

Because the plot demands that Sauron loses the ring and that's easier when he reaches out his hand to isildur so he can cut it off.
I guess it will never happen...
They were already 4 hours long.
@@Сайтамен I will never refuse a much longer version of the trilogy, it's never enough to me =)
It will be the same with the The Dune, If only director could keep all of the tapes...
I agree too.. but if you think about it... Return of the King was over 4 hours long..... They just had limits to what they could capture on film.

The image of Éowyn and Faramir at their wedding was only released recently by Miranda Otto on Twitter. TOFFEES? Glad that idea was abandoned. Gandalf trying to give up smoking would have yanked us out of the mythical past and into 20th century issues in a flash.
I think it’s more an attempt at humor than actual irl stuff. Even in-universe his smoking isn’t well regarded by some characters.
Good thing this wasn't made today since Warner Bros doesn't allow characters to smoke. Colin Farrell said he wanted to smoke a cigar as the Penguin in "The Batman" film but he said the studio wouldn't let him. Smh
@@SoulbentAnime That really is hilarious. They can show drugs and such but oooh not the spooky cigar, that's too much.
The Lord of the rings is so epic even the deleted scenes make up enough time for an extra movie
The Lord Of The Rings Is So Epic That The Unused Footage Is The Best Parts of The Trilogy!
The Gil-Galad, Elendil, and Sauron fight really should've made it in.
i know right im still baffled i want to see it happen come on peter jackson
Probably cut for flow reasons. But I'm looking forward to seeing it in there anyway of course.

The number nine is decided before the participants.
I feel so nostalgic after watching this. What a masterpiece of human interaction it was... a symphony.. made all the more obvious by the utter failure of Rings of Power.
Mastepiece of human interaction- yes 😊
But I do understand the bit about Arwen’s status and even Aragorn’s at that point with being king- it’s certainly not traditional for royalty to have public displays of affection like that and then elves in general are much more reserved.
We can just call it The Treebeard Edition. That way we all know it's going to be slow, but worth watching.
@@hebl47 That's... Genius!
So What If It Slows The Movie Down The More The Better!
And I thought I was a LOTR nerd ... Hats off to you, Sir. Thank you for this extraordinary compilation.
imagine a 20 years anniversary edition with all the material filmed and edited into the movie.
id pay good money for it
I would have loved that Frodo become Gollumish scene being in the movie. Somehow it would have added som much to make the audience see what Frodo actually was risking and fighting against within himself.
I would argue it's not necessary. The personal risk is already reflected in Bilbo's early dialogue, and Smeagol. Would have probably been remembered as an awkward scene more than anything.
@@oliverandm you're wrong. It was a strong scene
This feels like finding a lost treasure after ages
You Couldnt Have Said Any Better My Friend!!
When this movie came out I was 13, and the world was a much simpler place in my mind. *To be a child again would be a dream*
I'm 13 now and i never ever loved a trilogy as much as this one ever
Same! So Much Crp Has Happended Since Then
Cant Life Go Back To Been Good And Simple Again Like It Used To Be?
It's so interesting seeing the different deliveries. Really shows how good the actors are.
I will seriously cry if they ever release a uncut version of the trilogy with all these scenes. We already have an extended version, this would be a second treat, even better😭
To bad we didn't see more of Gil Galad and Easterlings in the movie
If they were to add 3 hours to each movie, we'd all still watch them in one sitting
Yes We Sure Would!
Bruh people act like they all committed to conventional-non conventional traditional social stuff. but who we kiddin'
Can't wait to see the release of the Extended Extended Edition.
I think the Lothlórien part would've been better with the killing of the goblins.
The elves shoving their bows in their faces was kinda dumb.
Also cutting ANYTHING that involves Boromir was a bad move.
57:49 I wish they did more with the Easterlings in the films. Such magnificent looking armor designs.
we could have a 15hr trilogy. please peter jackson and WB!
That red Orc was sweet. This is a great video! I’ve seen the extended versions so many times that I forget what the theatrical cuts are like, so these scenes are crazy to me
This movie is a pure magic...
The most important event of 2000s
Yes......... Correct
Agreed👍

@@RoarshackFilms You Know I Really Do Wish To God That 9/11 World Trade Centre Event Never Happend. Wonder How Different The World Would Be??
As much as I love Arwen and Liv’s performance, and as cool as it would have been to see - I am glad they removed her from fighting in Helms Deep. It would have strayed just much too far from her canon story, given how much they already added to include her.
Yes. Extended extended extended editions. Oh please, give us the precious. All of it.
This is the only Lord of the Rings release I'm enjoying this year.
I love lotr dearly and I will never watch that show
Same!
Nuff said 👍
27:01 they really captured a living Ent for the show. Amazing
Give me another 12 hours of LOTR, I don't care, I'd watch all of it lol
Yeeessss
I would love to watch the "Complete" verson of the Lord of the Rings; the super cut. I bet it would make the lord of the rings experience very new and much deeper and some what feel even realer than it already is.
I bet it would even rival the "Rings of Power series"
The new lotr series cant even compare to the extended cuts let alone a extra extended edition of it.
@@anthonyhanks1807 haha. We share a name, i wont say which. :)
Rival? There is no way the series is going to come even close to the films. lol
@@asilduin4594 Facts!
Lmao Rings of Power series isn’t a rival, it already seems like a bust.
After 20 years and countless times watching the movies and special features it's incredible to still come across something new.
Thank you so much for putting this together and releasing it.
we need ultra extended cut for the trilogy at the 25th anniversary.
Just release all the raw footage, Peter. The fans will gladly make a 48-hour cut of the trilogy _for you._
now I demand uncut/director's cut of the trilogy!!!! Jackson please, these scenes are treasure
Make It Happen!
Someone make sure Mr.Jackson is reminded of all these things for the 25th anniversary.
Exactly, the end result is almost irrelevant in a sense. LoTR is about the journey, physically, emotionally, psychologically…
Liv Tyler has to have one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Ever. And is it just me who remembers the elves running and frolicking in the woods in the Prologue??? Or is it just Mandela Effect in action lmao. I'm sure I've seen that scene back in the day.
I think you mean the Extended edition scene where Wood Elves are singing while making their way to the Grey Havens.
I vaguely remember it was in a trailer, but not in any final cut.
My respect to Peter Jackson and producers who did it possible to film in the begging of 21 century. And God damn they did it so well! Thank you guys!
While I get why they cut the Aragorn vs Sauron duel, can y’all imagine how dope that would’ve been to see??? Even just watching the tiny bit we got in this I damn near got goosebumps at what it could’ve been
I think it should be finished and offered as an alternate scene just for fun and entertainment.
This is awesome…..thank you!!
I can only imagine what it must have felt like to be a member of the cast or crew at the premiere and to have such a feeling of pride regarding what is on the big screen and such a feeling of loss from whatever didn't make it into the final cut.
Gave a like to this video and a comment to help the algorithm! 😄👍
The 25th anniversary is only a few years away now. I'll be waiting...
the prop team is insane, everything looks good even without the CG.
Simply beautiful. Incredible that this movie continues to give me things and things.
I cannot dimencimon the enormous amount of material that they filmed.
Thank you very much for teaching it!
I know its been a while since you made this but i still vote for giving Jackson ALL the extra and cut footage and have him make a tv series out of it. You could easily get 3 or 4 seasons out of this.
Yes. Everyone wants Peter Jackson to release this material in some form. It is up to Warner Brothers.
@UnreleasedLordOfTheRings Warner Brothers is so desperate for money you'd think they'd just do it. But I admit I don't know about who has what license.
Came here after seeing your comment on Middle Earth Updates - thought I should watch this instead!
Thank you for coming to the source of their copy & pasted (and monetized) video. Their video really shouldn't exist.
