Thank you for letting us see inside some of the stores!😍 I'm always dying to see in a few when I watch walking videos. Beautiful area, thank you for sharing the tour. 😊
Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Walking into stores is always a little complicated. I have to ask permission first and it interrupts the flow of the video.
4 years ago you've uploaded your first Taormina tour and I loved every second of it. I'm sure it will be the same for this one. Greetings from the Philippines!
Yeah, I also wanted to go back since I was not able to see the theater. I also filmed an evening tour of Taormina and a 360 VR walk as well. Thanks for watching and for your support over the years!
Thanks very much again for this video of one of the great places in Sicily. The man sitting next to the fountain at 6:09 really looks like my late father. That's how he wore a baseball cap to cover his head with gray hair when it's so sunny.
I love your videos. I was in the US Navy back in the late 70's and this was one of the ports we hit on one of my two cruises back then. I keep looking for anything I might recognize. I seldom see anything very familiar (time and changes there as well as how memory works is the reason, I guess) but I love how familiar it all seems. We spent a LOT of time in Italy and it is fun to kinda, in a way, look back in a unique way. Thanks very much.
Hey, thanks so much! I'm glad the videos have brought back some good memories. I was working at the Navy base in Naples when I started this channel. Are there any cities you'd like me to go film?
@@ProWalks The only ones I can think of that I haven't seen on your page yet are Genoa and Taranto (think that was the right spelling). Genoa was my first Italian port of call. It was in March and pretty chilly but for a young Southern kid it seemed kinda exotic 😁
@@ProWalks It's funny. I was watching the walk through Naples the other day and it seemed a lot cleaner than it did back in the late 70's...lol. Again, Thanks, for the tours.
Beautiful Taormina walk video 😀 Hopefully you come to visit Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and walk around KL places 🇲🇾😉 and explore Malaysia places 🤗 Hope you have a Wonderful trip in Taormina and Have a Good Day 🤗
saludos al hombre de la terraza del 50:51 buen video, me encanta italia, en una semana me voy a Napoles, tb me vi tu video de ahi buenisima calidad de video
Well, I don't remember where I got that information at the moment..or could have just as easily been typo. I'll check it out and update the captions. Thanks for the tip.
Fantastic video! Question for you - Did you already pay for the Greek Theater in advance? I noticed the long line of people that appeared to be waiting to buy tickets. How did you just walk around it? Curious :).
I filmed the Theater first thing when I arrived. I started filming right at the entrance, and then later in the day, I walked up to that point and then spliced the two video clips together. Yeah, the line was very long later in the day.
Kingdom of Sicily: After a brief rule by Charles of Anjou, a revolt in 1282 known as the Sicilian Vespers threw off Angevin rule in the island of Sicily. The Angevins managed to maintain control in the mainland part of the kingdom, which became a separate entity also styled Kingdom of Sicily, although it is retroactively referred to as the Kingdom of Naples, after its capital. From 1282 to 1409, the island was ruled by the Crown of Aragon as an independent kingdom, and was then added permanently to the Crown. Following the dynastic union of Castile and Aragon in 1479, it was a viceroyalty of the Spanish kingdom. [6][7] During the war of the Spanish succession (1700-1714), the island was taken over by the House of Savoy. In 1720, Savoy gave it to Austria in exchange for Sardinia. Later, the island was ruled by a branch of the Bourbons. Following the Napoleonic period, the Kingdom of Sicily was formally merged with the Kingdom of Naples to form the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, which in 1861 became part of the new unified Kingdom of Italy.

Man. I love the camera setup. Which camera you use to capture the vid?
Thanks. I'm using a Sony a7siii.

Would love to know what cameras you are shooting with (and what zoom lens) these superb virtual-reality-like visits ♥
I'm using a Sony a7siii with a sony 16-35 pz lens.
@@ProWalks thanks, superb camera and exquisite optics !
According to the calendar for 1860 in the U.S., 9 April fell on a Monday instead of Sunday. Did Italy use a different calendar back then?

Very nice, but what about Capri?
There are a lot of videos from Capri on the channel.

Is that a joke? Am I that old that I listen to 'Qué será que será' and I think in Doris Day, and you think in Bart Simpson?
Yes...yes you are. :) lol
..and I didn't think of Bart Simpson...it was Ned Flanders. :)
