I don’t have Turner’s syndrome but I was born with a webbed neck. I’m have surgery in January. The scar is going to be on the back of the neck. Dr. Eppley is performing the surgery. I appreciate you sharing your story! Your the only person I can relate to with this issue. And yes my hair is my crutch! I can’t wait to wear a ponytail!

Hi Candace, I am considering it, how did your surgery go? How were the results and scarring?

You make a great point about the issue of scarring Brooke. I had my first neck surgery at around 9 years old (I think), and I'm 41 now. I don't remember the doctor mentioning anything particular about scarring or reducing the look of scars before either surgery I had (I had 2 in total). It makes sense to me, though, because your neck is such a mobile part of your body. My webbed neck was pretty noticeable, so I think I would've accepted even moderate scarring over that.

Hi Brooke I also have TS and had the surgery. How did you cope in terms of telling people your story. I have this fear when I comes to dating to tell the person about my Tuners and how they would react. Do you have any advice.
