It's a pretty radical approach which, if it works, could see Chelsea become untouchable until other clubs catch on. I think Chelsea would need to increase the number of partner clubs like Strasbourg to ensure that all these young players get a chance to develop.

You can say what you want about the incredible skill and potential of these players Chelsea have recruited, but often in football the state of the team, the culture of the club and the environment the player is joining is the difference between success and failure. Chelsea have basically made it impossible for any manager to establish these crucial things and FFP charges are bound to catch up with Chelsea before they can.
