That was not the case. loading truck trailers and stacking pallets with packages up to 150 pounds by hand was not easy work for this 63 year old. My legs were killing me after two weeks and for $15.50 an hour I decided it was just not worth it. My legs still hurt after i quit two weeks ago. I think I got a pinched nerve while working there. They got rid of day shifts at my Amazon, so I was only able to work Twilight and Night shifts. I go to school, so this kind of workload basically caused a slight breakdown in me. It’s at that point I realize that I can’t work with Amazon anymore because that was too much. I did try to transfer but they only had full-time positions, which I cannot work due to being in school
I quit my job today. I was going to wait until I had another one lined up. I couldn’t do it anymore. The environment was horrendous. I have worked at Amazon in the past and it sucked. This current job I left was from a different warehouse. They’d write us up for anything and everything. You’re supposed to be at 100% you’re at 99.9% guess what? Write up! Emergency call out no matter how bad? Write up! Hurt from the job and had to call out? Write up! What was worse was when they started writing me up for things that I hadn’t done. They told me I was missing 20 labels from last week and I was so confused. What could I have done with 20 labels? Write up. The. My friend told me “Yeah it was more than likely the people working on (insert position here). They’ll take some labels. So now I’m getting a write up for something I didn’t even do?!! They will overwork you and tell you that you aren’t doing enough. This one girl completely lost it and told them about how their treatment of us was unfair. They sat there and smirked. They think this shit is funny. They have favorite emoloyees who sit there and chat with them all day doing nothing while you slave away and they have the nerve to tell you to work faster. That was the last straw. I called the call in line today and told them I resign. My friend got hurt on the job and they wrote her up. How do you get in trouble for getting hurt?! This place was so bad I remember people saying “Gosh I miss working at Amazon.” If Amazon is in the news I can’t even begin to imagine what’s going to happen when they find out about the conditions of this place! 😂 imagine dude. So bad that people are dreaming of going back to Amazon. And it’s only getting more strict. Had a coworker come up to me and say “Be careful this is the time of year where they’re trying to fire people so they will try to get you for anything.” That scared the hell out of me. I cannot work in fear. Will never shop at any of their stores again.

3:00 you didn't quit you got terminated. You should of resigned or asked for an extended leave. No one cares and notices if you don't show up and basically are terminated once your UPT goes negative. You can resign and reapply anytime. But now you have to wait if you ever need a quick job at amazon. People quickly forget that you go to amazon to make money and not get promotions. You either go there for a couple of years or to use as a temporary job to get another job. In your case your cherry picker certified and could get a job that pays you up to $30 per hour using a cherry picker somewhere else. Its true amazon does hire anyone and mainly most highschoolers. But your intention is to make some money. Clock in and clock out, get your money and go home. Don't worry about promotions because those get get promotions to PA's quit. But i believe at the fulfillement centers you wages goes up each year you stay with the company. That's why its bettter to ask for an extended leave so that you can come back when you want.

I've done everything I could to get it downgraded but none of the management gives a shit. Its like they want me gone for working too hard they want to put me back on pit with a final write up that lasts an entire year. Crushed all my motivation to continue working there, how do they expect me to operate a pit with that BS hanging over my head, looking for work elsewhere atm .
