Brian Andersen FTW. He’s been calling games for Milwaukee for years and years and it was inevitable he’d go national, been doing baseball and basketball forever nationally now too.
The comeback win just last series against Detroit was an all time classic. Lane Thomas hit a go-ahead grand slam against the best pitcher in baseball this year. An unbelievable run by the Indians.
Die hard yankee fan, only watch the playoffs when they’re in but damn playoff baseball feels like the superbowl every damn game. I’m 31 but this is turning me into a big baseball fan, I’m about to start going to my local college game every Thursday lol.
Progressive Field is insanely loud--these videos don't do it justice. I was there and it felt like an earthquake went off on the Noel homer and then an atom bomb explosion when Fry walked it off. Has to be one of the loudest parks in baseball....
Its tough for me to watch with the way they celebrate on the field when the game is not even over. It was never part of the game but its a me me me world now. The NFL is worse which I rarely watch because of this.
Thomas and Noel seemed to be the only ones who figured out the changeup. I think Kahnle threw 10 in a row in the 8th inning, and the hitters seemed completely baffled. It seemed obvious that Noel was sitting on it. Naylor had an at bat in which he swung at three in a row, and none of them were strikes.
@@gregoryjannone8280 I halfway agree. But this is kinda what the mlb needs. The newer generation are pretty apathetic towards baseball. Most of the time I see guys hyped after home runs they turn to the dugout to hype the team up even more. Look at the back to back home runs last night from the Yankees. I do agree with you though on moments like that where they should chill and act like they’ve done it before like lindor does. Funny that the same thing happened with that Yankees starting pitcher when he was strutting around like a peacock after a first inning strikeout a week ago, then they lost the game. Regardless, we’re talking about it. It’s interesting to see those idiots fail after acting like hot shit. Love to see the yanks fail it’s hilarious lol.
As a born and raised Indians fan, I'm obviously super excited about this win. But I'm also extremely worried. I'm worried that Vogt's rookie managing has completely burned out Clase's arm already...and AT BEST, we'd literally have to win seven straight games to play the bare minimum to win a WS, which is definitely NOT happening. Clase already looks done we've got at bare minimum seven games left to play. I just don't see it. Francona burned out Andrew Miller's arm in the 2016 playoffs, but the difference was Miller didn't falter until Game 7 of the WS (and he got screwed by a disgusting umpiring call on a ball that should've been strike 3). Miller was completely dominant up until he finally couldn't do anymore in Game 7 of the WS. Clase was used so much during the regular season and has now been ridiculously overworked in just the ALDS and now ALCS that he's already falling apart...and we've only won ONE game in the ALCS.
@@BlueInOrangeAgain It's ok for the team to move on, and be better IMO. Consider the fact that Columbus mistakenly called them Indians because he had no idea where he was. Knowing history and making logical decisions that show respect to people is not a bad thing. Call it being woke if you want.
