Hi people!
This is just a compilation of fun little loops I made for Toothless. Sorry the audio is not great, because there are sounds and music in the background I couldn't edit out...
I am still working on the Borealis tutorials. For those of you who are following along with them, I'm sorry they have been delayed so long. I will try to upload the next part soon. Blender's "text problem" is really holding me back from finishing them :/

You should make a loop animation of the night lights when the are little and then when they are grown up and you should also do an animation of the light fury doing the same things as toothless was in this video also I love your work

I would like to make all of the animations you suggested, but I’m only one person and these things take a lot of time. So, I can’t guarantee when or if I’ll be be making them.

Well, nine realms is definitely more semi-realistic; the dragon models have lots of scales.
@@fulonimationstudios2408 oh I am aware and I don’t disagree that the amount of work and effort and time put into this is astounding, I just didn’t agree with their claim it is better than the series.
Seeing Toothless spread his wings fully out is kinda menacing ngl 😲
Also these animations where so smooth!!

These all look so fluent and in-character for toothless. You are an amazing animator!
In my opinion, Toothless has some resemblance to cat. Because he has no fur, he used the wings to make himself look bigger or dangerous (well, you know, when cats hiss in anger or something, their fur looks sharp).
In claw attack, I thought, he will attack like a cat does. But, that's okay, because he's not fully a cat, he just do it as a warning to not messing with him.
And the eyes details, it's really impressive, really resembles a real cat.
Anyway, this is a great animation test. After working for animation or modelling, don't forget to take some rest. Sorry for any grammar mistakes..
The song in the background as he did power up made him look sick!
This belongs in a game... Like if people want to make a Httyd rpg with custom characters and stuff to put school of dragons to shame u need to animate and model for them. This is amazing🔥❤️👌🏻

It's so nice to see that the model is based on the original HTTYD 1 toothless rather than on his wierd "redesign" in 3rd movie - which funningly enough is much more popular among art community.
I agree. His first movie designs and characteristics are very cool and mysterious.
But, in the second and third movies, he’s more like a dog…

Your animation and modeling 3D is so good!! But I would prefer his eyes to look like the first movie, because they look more realistic than the other movies
Yes I definitely agree about the eyes. The first movie will forever be my favorite of the three 🙂
@@fulonimationstudios2408 And I prefer the shape of his face in the first movie, he's more aherodynamic and his body is covered in spots, which he doesn't have in the sequels, Toothless his just so much better in the first one😁 Yes, there is some ameliorations, but he lost a lot of what i loved with him
@@lotusforestdragoness7707 I agree with you completely. I don’t know why they changed his character so much. He was very mysterious and cool in the first movie (like a panther) and now he’s more like a dog. I do think he’s cute and everything, but I still prefer the original. Maybe, if I find the time and motivation, I’ll remake my model to be more like the first movie.
I remember not being able to find enough image references from the first movie; so that’s why he looks so much like the later movies.

@@fulonimationstudios2408 my guess for the change is aging.since I'm going off the second movie where hiccups mom says toothless is HIS age(which I believe is 21 please correct me if I'm wrong) and he was a teen in the first movie....So realistically he would be more aerodynamic to move faster to avoid dying as a dragonnet.

This gives me an idea DreamWorks could do for a game where it's literally just an open world game, you could play as a human I think it'd be better to get a selection of Dragons and just have it be survival or something, like Skrills, monstrous nightmares, deadly nadders pretty much every common dragon you can think of and just fucking survive as one of them, I mean look at the new show clearly they just wanna milk the franchise into the ground, at least make something that's good or something people would actually enjoy and it's rare to get good games based off movies so just a survival game where you are like a really iconic Dragon would more than likely be just fun, I'd pay like 15 bucks for it

How long did this take? I am thinking of getting blender but I’m worried it might be a bit hard
Well, I didn't just have to animate it. I had to model, texture and rig it. As for how long it took to make these animations, each "loop" took about an hour. But it took me about 2 weeks to make the model 😬
