I knew you'd have a video on this very thing. I've wasted so much time with other crypto "teachers". FYI:: It took my Daedalus wallet 17 hours for initial sync up...poor laptop memory pegged all 16Gig ..
20/20 hindsight maybe had I turned off Oracle (6gig) that would of helped ;)

Wow great tutorial,couldnt figure out why ledger has a cardano app and no way to actully recieve it as it's not supported, this video should help everyone. please be patient when connecting to the blockchain mine took a few hours because I had previous cardano transactions of larger amounts but once synced your good to go.

Awesome video! Have to ask though - @ 8:45, you mentioned "Every time you uninstall and reinstall the cardano app, it will recreate the wallet" - means, if say you have x number of ada and you uninstall the wallet, after reinstalling it, the x number of ada is still there right? so same wallet address associated with the original private key for ada before uninstalling is linked back?

I prefer CoinbasePRO over BinanceUS since CoinbasePro ACH only takes 5 days or less. BinanceUS holds it for 10 days. Also note that Coinbase will not take my Citibank card because it gives me 1% back.

Well they’re protected by a pin, so even if someone steals them they’re useless to them. You could create a mirror back up and store that and a safe deposit box in case of fire or flood

I am thinking about this tech like my home computer....do I need to back everything up or is there always a record of the transaction in the event I lose or break my hardware wallet and as your explaination states, the pin makes the device useless if lost.
@@Pathfinder_117 Also remember that that 24 word recovery phrase is a back up. It can be used to restore any device. So if you lose or damage your original you can use the 24 word recovery Phrase to restore. So keep that in a very safe place. You might want to also keep a copy of that one in your safe deposit box box

Of course. Yoroi is set up for ADA and then you can send it directly to either Ledger Nano S or X. It's up to you
Can you do a video on how to store Polygon (Matic) on Nano X?
And don't forget to stake your ADA in your wallet, you will earn more ADA each 5 days. +/- 5% annually staking rewards.
There is no minimum ADA required for staking. And no lockup, so you can send your ADA back to the exchange and sell it, whenever you want.

Thanks for a great explanation, but let me share my experience. Daedalus wallet takes about 30 minutes to load. Syncs, three DAYS If it's normal, I'm probably not.

So my question about staking on exchanges. I can see the possible positive benefits, but that small writing says there is no guarantee your staked $ will not be stolen. What are the real risks and are those risks a true hindrance to NOT staking.

Can you do a tutorial on adding tokens from the Cardano ecosystem (REEF) to ledger? Is it even possible?
The problem is all the fees you encounter moving your coin back and forth. Seems you'd want to consider having a long term stash, that you just park long term investments in. And, your carry crypto. Then, if you need something, just get it from your own stash, no fees. Sure, you paid the fee to get it all there, but maybe fees go up later, or whatever. That keeps it safe, and at home or safe deposit box, ready to be accessed. peace

Hi love the information within this video! I have a question - I used Ledger Live receiving address for ADA from my Coinbase (not realizing that ledger does not accept receipts of ADA!) I have now downloaded Daedalus and have synced my Ledger X. Should i transaction now show in Daedalus?
