thank u sir i am from india ......love from india i am 14 yrs old and a 2nd dan black belt...... i wanted to learn this kata and that helped me thank u
Nice execution! If i observed right, I think the best way to do the double blocks right is to think "gedan barai on the front leg, uchi uke on the back one", right? Thank you sensei. Osu!
I saw kanazawa doing the hata and i focused well.... after the first scream when you turn and do maygeri than gidan baray and otcheeikai you do it gidan baray with first leg kanazawa does it with second..can u exlain y? (Sorry for not naming the moves right)
Aziz Ayari great question. Kanazawa in his video he does show it his hands being opposite. If you watch other Senseis they will do it different with first sequence being the right gedan barai and the left hand uchi. I was taught from my sensei being JKA to do it that way.
No he did not. It' s Me Kanasawa (Great Great Sensei RIP) who changed the order block. Otha , Kase and many sensei do it as Mr Abdullah who performs a very good exercice. And in fact it as not so much importance, it is what you do with the kata ie the bunkai which is relevant ...or not. Are you able to fight and defend yourself with the kata or not? Why an attack sequence end with a defense ? Is this defense a defense or a double attack or an arm lock or a defense and an atack to the opponent at the ground (he/she falled because or your previous blows and send a mawashi from rhe groud that you block????) Well this kind of study is kata/bunkai. Just the order ot the u block has no meaning by itself. Nevertheless it is important not to transform the kata for fun or because we think it is better.

@@itsbrandonabdullah Whose idea was it to change the sequence of blocks after mae-geri? I really want to know. And WHY?
you should look at the target before or while doing the technique. try not to step back as you block, You should pushh with your heel as you block
Muito bom
