But May taps on the solo of “it’s late” from “News Of The World” from 1977. The wah wah solo part after the “bagpipes” is like Hendrix. Pretty cool for the mid 80s. Mercury sounds like he’s gonna blow a fuse with such an intense vocal. There’s can be only one!
This was without a shadow of doubt the best song out of all the Highlander tracks. it was this song and the movie that made me into a huge Queen fan..I'd go as far as to say that they were in another league to say the Beatles as far as playing live is concerned. but John Lennon trumps Freddie with the songwriting but Freddie Mercury was without even needing to mention it, was the gratest and most powerful rock singer in the history of modern pop/rock music. .he was literally a 1 in a billion. .and that's no exaggeration. .great movie as well with rami malic. .he's a talented person too. We are all capable of grate thing we just have to believe. ..
