Luxury brands & even contemporary brands are more expensive to buy there. Here in the US, we can get the contemporary brands on sale😊 When I visit Phils. I usually shop the local brands & at Kultura.
Loved this vlog, not only for what you bought (absolutely lush!) but to see Manila shopping! My Dad went there 20 years ago for a holiday (from the UK aged 73 - quite a feat at his age then) and did the shops. He tried to explain how overwhelming it was, so was lovely to kind of see what my dear dad would have seen! Thanks Cindy!
i'm so excited to go home in august. i take that walkway after school. walking around greenbelt relaxes me.i'm glad you enjoyed your vacation and time with family.
Correct me if I'm wrong but in the Philippines, taxes are already added to the price so the price they give out is basically the retail price+tax already. whereas in the USA, the prices they give out are exclusive of tax:)))
How much is your bangle bracelet the trio and also your pin necklace. I’m going back home this May and maybe looking forward to purchase also those two. Thanks. I really enjoyed watching your vlog there.
We enjoyed shopping during our PI trip in February. I bought 2 BidiBidi bags at MOA/Kultura Filipino. I first found out about these cute bags via your vlog. Thank you!
U should have taken a video in the gardens @ Greenbelt. It's really beautiful. Also try buying jewelry @ Jewelmer, really fancy looking south sea pearls.
I really love the watch. I love how it snaps on. Omg! I love the bag your mom gave you. It is sooo beautiful. I want one. ❤ I want to get an H bracelet. I am getting one this year. I've been wanting one of 2 to 3 years. Yours is very pretty. Love the color. congrats on everything you got.
i have the longchamp that I bought last November in Paris. The lady from the store told me its best not to store it folded probably because I bought the one with print so maybe it will do something to the print but she said that if there are issues the store here in ph can have it repaired for me, its really great kinda slouchy but you can buy the bottom pad for it
thanks for this vlog, going to Philippines in June. I think all luxury goods are more expensive there but the exclusive Manila hotstamp is cool in LV ❤
All those bags in the boutique and they could not sell you even one?! It is very entertaining for me to hear stories like this because I am not in the market for a Brikin/Kelly/Constance, but if I was I would definitely be weeping with rage! Thank you for the video!
When you go to France when you buy luxury like Gucci LV or Goyard also little bit cheaper you can ask a plain paper bag even include a clear plastic I saw some tourist they carry a small suitcase so it doesn’t get attention carrying all of the luxury while you roaming around. I don’t know luxury chain in the Philippines if doing that.
I hear you. I think all Asian airlines allow 7kg or 15lb for carry on. I traveled to Asia during Christmas and had to move some of my stuff from the Carry on to my super be tote too. I have two toddler so they both can have two carry on too which is a fortunate i didn’t have to check in the bag I don’t want to.
Love the passport holder with the Manila stamp😍 the last time I went back home I was able to score a double zip pouch from LV Solaire and it was the last one in the Philippines at the time lol walked in at Hermes too in Greenbelt and everything was pretty much sold out so I think it’s really just hit or miss😅
OMg i knew u were Asian but was confused which one. I’ve been watching u from day one, im just happy to know for sure that we’re race 😅 and live same state.
loved seeing shopping in manila. I haven't been back since 1994 🙃 can you also get the manila heat stamp if you bring in a passport cover bought in the states?
yeah luxury goods are much more expensive in the philippines, a fendi peekaboo i've been looking at is about 35-38K pesos more expensive compared to other asian countries, i dont know how to tell my SA ill just get it on my taiwan trip lol
Hi Cindy! I’ve been following u for years & I don’t know if u have Filipino roots but I’m jz sooo ecstatic that u shared a little something about the Philippines. I miss home & this clog just covers for what I miss. 💝☺️ btw, that trinity bangle was good but I think. More power to ur channel ❤🇵🇭 💙
Nice vlog!😊Green belt my favorite to eat and shop when I’m in Mla and Also Dr. Belo Clinic. It’s a one stop shop for me. I don’t bring my LV if I go home to the Phils for obvious reason, many are wearing fake LV instead I brought with me 3 Prada bags , the tessuto or nylon Light weight Prada bags.😊
Hello, Cindy. Your trip to the Philippines is awesome. I wish I could go there one day. Shopping is always such a fun. Great to have a hot stamping in other countries, so memorable. Beautiful purchases and especially the ones which can be done only in the Philippines. The straw bags are adorable. ❤
It sucks to shop in Manila. Everything is way more expensive. The shops are very limited. The only good one I visited was greenbelt where the luxury brands ade located. I love the food tho back home and I just cant get over it 😂😂😂 Im from Cali tho and One more thing, Never fly PAL always something bad happens in that airline lol
I hope that when you paid and used your US credit card you pay in Pesos. Because the conversion in PH stores are so bad. Miss the PH so bad. Next time I go home I will definitely check out the places you’ve gone.
I loved seeing you going about PH malls. Sorry to say this, but the PH shopping part is shaky. Triggered my vertigo. 😢 I can't finish, but I'm sure the rest of the video is awesome, and I hope you had a great time here in the PH.
I asked the sales person in Gucci shangrila years ago, he said all their prices are meant for payment plans with credit cards. So, no straight payment price. Lol
Tfs! I was in Phils the month of December, and that big empty area in Ayala had a huge xmas tree and lots of decor at that the time! Everything that is imported for the most part is more expensive there. I forgot to bring an eyebrow pencil. Literally $50+ bucks for a Bobby Brown pencil at SM. I was so mad lol. Don’t fly with Philippine Airlines next time 😅 Other asian airlines are not strict with carry-on luggage weight, they’re particular with size that fits in the overhead cabin
so things are cheaper in us but still bought them there... it seems to me like showing of your wealth to your people which is kind of lame... I am admiring your lifestyle and following you because I love your style but I can't understand why you had to buy stuff anyway though you could find them here too!
I love the mall of Asia . I’m so glad your enjoy.
Luxury brands & even contemporary brands are more expensive to buy there. Here in the US, we can get the contemporary brands on sale😊 When I visit Phils. I usually shop the local brands & at Kultura.

Loving the vintage cartier watch cindy! Also loving the kultura book totes. 🥰
I was just there over January and loved my time at Greenbelt and stuff. So fun to see world's collide and have a vlog there!
Ate Cindy you should do Vlog in GreenHills Mall or Divisoria and compare high end counterfeit luxury bags to your own original bags
All those bags in the boutique and they could not sell you even one?! It is very entertaining for me to hear stories like this because I am not in the market for a Brikin/Kelly/Constance, but if I was I would definitely be weeping with rage! Thank you for the video!
Come to Guam. Except for Chanel, we have everything. No sales tax either, that alone is huge savings
Oh I have to get the passport cover with the Manila stamp next time I am there 😍!!
Your video made me miss the Philippines! I’ll go there in July and will check out the stores you mentioned. Thanks for sharing.

Can you please share the link of her online shop? I mean that beautiful tote gift from your mom.Thank you so much.
Definitely the ones i have bought from LV in the Philippines are way more expensive. That's why I always buy in another country.

Did LV charge for the Manila Hot Stamp on the passport cover?
The hot stamp is complimentary 🤗
Aww I missed you on your trip here! But yep, airlines are quite strict here :

I'm curious about your experience wearing luxury brands in the Philippines and the overall safety there. I'm Filipino American and only visited once 😅
Its pretty much the same here in the US. Totally depends where in the city you go.
Makati and BGC are nicer than most cities in the US.
you can but be very vigilant. safer if you use grab for transport. be extra careful when walking and taking public transport.
Everybody carrying LV😂😂😂😂
Nice vlog!😊Green belt my favorite to eat and shop when I’m in Mla and Also Dr. Belo Clinic. It’s a one stop shop for me. I don’t bring my LV if I go home to the Phils for obvious reason, many are wearing fake LV instead I brought with me 3 Prada bags , the tessuto or nylon Light weight Prada bags.😊

i am a filipina personal shopper from Germany
That is green belt
Luxury/designers brands in the Philippines are 20-30%more expensive
Don’t fly with Philippine Airlines next time 😅 Other asian airlines are not strict with carry-on luggage weight, they’re particular with size that fits in the overhead cabin
YES PH LUXURY SHOPPING IS MORE EXPENSIVE HAHAHAAHHA so we don’t usually buy here
so things are cheaper in us but still bought them there... it seems to me like showing of your wealth to your people which is kind of lame... I am admiring your lifestyle and following you because I love your style but I can't understand why you had to buy stuff anyway though you could find them here too!
I like to get PI souvenirs from PI 🥹🇵🇭
