I watch a lot of Golf vids and this is extremely helpful. Tempo seems to go missing when you feel pressure.

That’s why practice is so important! Keep working on that tempo, you’ll get it!

As usual your video is very helpful. I've been injured recently and the smooth way is surely the best for me. I'm sure I will remember next spring on the golf course. See your videos next year. Mitch from France

Hi Alex; One thing I use for tempo practice is a metronome that gives you the exact tempo rather than counting it yourself. You can change it as often as you like to help find the best feel for yourself rather than emulating someone else. You can download a metronome for your phone online. It's free.

Thanks for sharing that tip! That's a great way to practice tempo and find your own rhythm.

I love this instruction. The last video with hitting the water got my drives from 240-250 to 285. Can't wait to apply this also.

Oh and I had to adjust my aim point since every shot was a draw. Thank you!

My Garmin watch has a swing tempo app and I struggle with the 3:1 ratio. I will try this approach at the range today. Thanks.

Keep that 3:1 ratio in mind, and you'll be generating power effortlessly in no time! Honestly 3:1 is slow to what many would find ideal. 27/9 is often good. The swing tempo app is terrific as various options

@TheArtofSimpleGolf my watch is set at .8/.27 labeled Pro medium. .8 just feels like such a long time. 🤣

Thank you very much for this really helpful explanation 👍
What I realised is how smooth your slow movements you showed are. I’ll keep this pictures in my mind when going out to play 😅

I wish u golf ⛳️ teachers would just get to it immediately rather than taking rubbish for 3/4 of the vid , we just want to know how

I’m actually quite thankful they share such a wealth of information for free on here. You should probably focus your attention on shorts if the waffle is getting to you.

Appreciate that! One reason golfers are struggling more than ever is because of just applying tip after tip without knowing really why or if applicable

If you don’t know the why and if it’s relevant to you… it’s just a meaningless tip that is not absorbed or applied correctly One reason golfers are struggling more than ever is because of just applying tip after tip without knowing really why or if applicable
