  • The Triumph 8C Dolomite project was led by the infamous Donald Healey and borne out of the British Motoring elite's frustration at the lack of homegrown competitors to the world-dominating Alfa Romeo 8C 2300. Triumph didn't simply build a competitor for the Alfa 8C but instead a copy, with an engine so accurate that it was long suggested that Alfa Romeo had sued. We took our Dolomite DMH1, the only one completed by Triumph, out on track to hear just how 8C-like the engine really is!

The choice of a classic house music track by Kings of Tomorrow is quite perplexing! It's a great piece of music.........but I'd hazard a guess that petrol people only really want to hear the sounds emanating from what's under the bonnet...
