I agree with magellenproject. Todays Happy Hardcore is not the same thing as it was in the 90's. All those nice piano riffs (and other nice things too) which were so characteristic to Happy Hardcore genre are gone now. And how can you call it the same genre if it has lost most of it's original characteristics? You should upload "Ham & DNA - About U" - it's from the year 2000 but it's one of the last still original Happy Hardcore songs. Man, I love that song.
I always loved this track. The choice of that sort of whispy vocal-like synth made the track sound like a fucking great big steam train relentlessly chugging along. It was a bold choice but it really paid off IMO
I wish Vinylgroover/Scott Attrill would release his hardcore back-catalog digitally. Highly doubt he wants anything to do with hardcore these days, but still.
you couldnt be more wrong yeh sure some of it is like that but their is a lot of quality hardcore being produced still some of the stuff darren styles has produced over the last couple of years is amazing and sy still knows how to make awesome music as for the comment about "gaying-up" you could do with learning some better vocabulary hardcore had to evolve or people would of run out of ideas (look at all the remixes that came out around 2000)
Beautiful vocals and piano. Really underrated b-side. The lyrics are a Whitney Houston track, but the vocals are original. This version is far superior in my opinion. Something about the slightly wonky piano I really like.
was that the tune sampleing an 80s classic, called body rock, im on someone elses account on hear but have thousands of records so can help you with anythnig your after, and there was a scott brown tune with these lyrics called rock that body

I agree, much prefered the pre 2000 hardcore and techno, the new stuff is basically sped up trance!
Because after 2000, Hardcore "died" and MANY producers left for other genres that were cashing in the big bucks like Hard Dance & commercial Trance.

They were most likely referring to the higher pitch of the bass line as Makina has a higer pitch in bass.

I mean, UK Hardcore is not the same thing as Happy Hardcore. I like both but there are some differences.
