When Jellybean landed on his arm, my genuine reaction in my head was „woohh… Chris is so brave!“ 😅… hadn’t have that thought a lot, even when Chris swam with the crocodiles… But what a sweet and relaxed vlog… everybody so chill, even Hazel (at least in the video). And I liked Ricky, the pirate parrot- the poor sweety! Good that she has you guys now!
You have the cutest residents! I love how Big Mac is bringing Bella out of hiding and showing her the ropes. It will be fun to see their dynamic evolve and progress.
Omg the bird training is going so well! Jellybean the toucan choosing to sit on Chris's arm and eat food (and not stab!). So lovely to see. We love you Ricky! I am so sorry that you can't walk but I am so glad you get to "fly" with Daddy Chris. So sweet! Oh and the Prairie Dogs loving those monkey biscuits they always eat them like it is manna from heaven. Blessings to Chris and Gabby and everyone at Bellowing Acres Sanctuary. Thank you for all you do.
❤❤You said it Chris! Big Mac IS a cute gator! I've never seen, up close, how beautifully designed an Alligator's head is for them to survive and trive in their environment. His entire body is under water with only his eyes and nostrils poking above the surface of the water. What a PERFECT design Mother Nature created for the Alligator, the epitome of an "Apex Ambush Predator". If he were in his normal environment, in the dark or in the shade, he could be right next to you and... you'd never notice it. And....if you DID notice him.... it would probably be too late. Another beautiful design by Mother Nature!❤
Big Mac really is a cute gator, with that constant "Wuh?" look on his face XD At least the grind seems to clump well. Beats having it dissolve into your hand every time the foxes grab a wad of it! I feel like Chloe needs some music for her strutting, she loves hearing Chris sing her name to her XD ❤
Everyone’s looking fantastic!! I was showing my family that your videos and my mom has fallen in love with you and your sanctuary. We have always been advocates for all creatures and keeping them in their natural habitats showing their beauty and their wonderful behaviours just living naturally!! You have a new fan and she is excited to start watching your videos from the beginning❤
The foxes are so hysterical in shed. Holy cow! Jellybean on your arm…you really are amazing in your ability to establish trust. Ricky is so beautiful…so touching to see her getting special outside time. She clearly enjoys it. If people would just do research on the needs of any animals they get. There’s a bat rescue I watch where they take the elderly bats out to “fly” like that.
Chloe is pretty darn cute with her strut! There is no shame in feeding carnivores what they need to eat to stay healthy, so I'm glad you do. I know that there are people out there that would have every animal be a vegetarian whether or not it's healthy for them, so I'm glad you are a realist and know that some animals require meat in their diet to remain healthy. Nice to meet Rickie! She's in good hands. Thank you for another wonderful tag-along!
Greetings from Northern Cape South Africa. A lovely catch up vlog. So nice to catch-up with the newer and older friends. Today you took a break from showing us how hard Daisy the cutest 🐖 could sit. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that adores her squashed up little face. Chris one thing I do miss terribly since you use the golf cart, is seeing the whole gaggle of birds following after you guys going for a feathered walkies! That was really special. Please try to film it again for us sometime. Even when all of them are gathered eating together outside of your food preparation area whenever you guy's have collected and sorted fresh produce. I just love the interaction between your ducks, turkey's, chickens not to mention Bam running in to grab watermelon 🍉. So wonderful to see them so contented. Thanks for this vlog, every sanctuary creature is special, including the wild ones which pop in for a brief visit.
Chris you and Gabby are the most amazing people I have ever seen on not just youTube, the work, dedication and knowledge you have for the animals in your care, and the fact that you do it out of you own life savings, is amazing, every video you both release I am glued too, and look forward too the daily vlogs, I mainly love the gators and crocs ( my favorite animals after dogs ) but your channel is soo amazing, I wish you all the luck, and hope you help as many of these poor creatures as you can, the world needs alot more people like you and Gabby. thank you for sharing your stories with us.
Seeing that Olaf has become the official closer for the sanctuary Vlogs you should come up with a channel catchphrase and teach him, similar to Porky Pig's "That's all Folks!"
You have very "multi-purpose" hands Chris, and it's quite something. It's odd to see a man 's that are strong enough to haul out an 11' Alligator, and then be g gentle enough to give "skritches" to a Cockatiel's tiny little head right behind their ears. You were blessed with those hands.
Love your vlogs. All the animals, the crocs and gators, foxes, birds, coatis. The little construction workers🤣...all of them. Commenting for the algorithm😃
Those emus have forged my heart. I have learned so much about them. Love water and pets how can you not adore that. My parents friends had a pet skunk. I loved visiting them. She would stomp at us and steal what toys we were playing with. Does your fluff butt like toys? JellyBean is warming up to you for sure. All that enduring stabs is paying off. Have you seen the RUclips channel with the blind baboon and her meerkat friend? It is so amazing. Ricky your new parrot touched me, I was a special needs teacher and I always have an extra heart beat for those that are challenged or differently-abled. You two do so much good. If I believed in heaven I would say you two most definitely earned your wings ten fold. You can measure the character of a person by how they treat fauna, flora and children b
Oh and Gabby the master chef there 😊. Did you know that Amazon parrots do not feel the burn of peppers? That is why they love them and can eat them. I am not sure any or all types of Parrots are the same way? Oh I just looked it up “Because birds are biologically unable to register the effects of capsaicin-the chemical that makes peppers feel “hot” in your mouth-they don't feel the burn like we do.” So birds in general. Interesting
We got to see just about everyone today of the usual suspects! Love how Oloff is screaming away while you were feeding Jet. Such a demanding Parot. Haha. How is Tadpole doing? I wish these were an hour long. I love the longer versions and where you do your croc training. Love ya guys!! 🙏
Love getting home from work and settling in to watch the vlog and chill with some snacks. Everyone is doing so well! Haha Chris always has to be on his toes with the knife chicken. Just when you think he is being sweet, quick stab! Always love seeing the emus, Chloe, and chunk skunk
Hey Chris and gabby so excited to see yall. I had a visitor today come in to the apartment lol there was a squirrel that came in, it was hilarious luckily my mom wasn't home she would have freaked out. 😂😂😂😂 I hope yall have an amazing day
The darker grey cockatiel reminds me of my first rescued tiel Luvvie! The other reminds me of patches super sweet how they put their head down for scratches lol
Thank you for my vlog fix I really needed that awesome as always. Great eye grabbing that snake your really good at spotting animals on the property. Everything from insects to reptiles to birds you've spotted quite a few different animals now. Any you haven't spotted that your expect to at some point or any that you didn't film that you saw?? Hope you had a nice weekend thanks again!!!!!
Loved today's vlog! Jet is such a little cutie! Did it not work out with his fox-friend? (I tried to find the answer in your videos, but struck out. Maybe you could talk about that in an upcoming video?) The recipes you feed your animals are fairly complex. Would you be interested in talking about that in a future video? I'm pictuing a recipe book divided into sections by animal or something. For dogs, there are a lot of "authoritative" sources of proper nutrition - and most of them are wrong. Is it the same for exotics? Just some food for thought 😄 for future video topics. Y'all are doing such good work! I'm excited for what the future holds for you!
How am i JUST realizing that you are a few names short of the Flintstones?!? I know you didn’t name Pebbles, but the fact that he came to a sanctuary with a Bam Bam & Dino - a sanctuary full of real live dinosaurs of gators, emus & hornbills - hysterical 😂 I don’t know all the names of your birds & snakes - do you have a Betty, Wilma, Fred or Barney we don’t know about?!? 🦖🐊 😂
Oh, somebody knows his name! Better a mop than Michael on Useless Farms, who is regularly labeled "Truck Stop Toilet Brush." Poppy wants to escape so he can come snuggle in bed with you, because he needs MORE LOVE.
How is Chloe doing? Is she still plucking her feathers? It looks like she is much better. It appears that allot of her feathers are growing back in. I love her strutting. BTW thanks for the daily vlogs. I know they are allot of work. I know you cover some of the training you do with the animals in your vlog, but I think it would be fascinating to see some training sessions with information about what you are doing and why. We get that some with the gators and you mentioned you have the pigs sit everyday to help with their aggression. I would love to see more of that with a deeper dive into what you do and why. I think it would help with showing why wild animals maybe don’t make good pets. I train dogs, so I have a special interest in animal training and animal behavior. Thanks for all the vlogs.
Chloe isn’t plucking anymore and has regrown a lot of feathers, but some spots may stay permanently bald unfortunately. And I’ll try to explain training more!
@@GatorChris_ Thanks, you and Gabby are doing a great job! Someday I will get to FL and hopefully by then you guys will be open to the public. I wish I lived closer as I would love to volunteer.
Chris, will you & Gabby please adopt me LMAOOOOOO. I'm really low maintenance LOL. Just keep me fed, give me a chill place to sleep & I'd gladly be your personal 24/7 on call do girl...just sayin😂😂😂😂😂 Your place would be my heaven on earth❤❤❤❤❤
it would be cool. they get to roam free mostly and get int he big natural pond. Pebbles the boy is new and is learning to get around so they are confined some with him to help him get used to his new home. He is teaching them too.
Chris, are the alligators and crocodile fed every day? I think I remember you mentioned in an older video they can go a long time between feedings, although they don’t want to. Am I remembering that correctly? I hope Dino is going to survive. I know you don’t want to lose another alligator. Hugs to you and Gabby from Tennessee.
