Pokemon is huge and always will be. It is bigger than the Ninja Turtles and Scooby Doos that came before it. And it does make some of the most money inside claw machines... Also, while trading cards like Magic the Gathering finally took a nosedive, their card game stayed rather strong and the cards still sell to this day like 28 years later. It outlasted the copy cats like Yu-Gi-Oh and Digimon. Unfortunately you are right about it feminizing young males, it's been doing that since the show started. When I was a kid I thought Power Rangers were gay, but then Pokemon came out.
Hmmm, I remember recording on VCR thr very first episodes of power rangers when it first csme out in the 90s. The original first 3 seasons was the only stuff worth bothering with, but I'll be honest I probably only watched the first 2 seasons. I think power rangers was okay, I wish it had been more masculine with a bigger budget though. Also was there in the 90s when pokemon First csme out of Gameboy.. played it and completed it, I grew up and never did play the others... And yeah I was the one that introduced pokemon cards to my friends..but it never took because I'd already introduced magic the gathering and that was a lot more fun. Does pokemon feminize guys? Do you know what, I think it probably does because it isn't masculine
