sorry to be so off topic but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
Crikey - you have done a brilliant job here. These are about 100 times more inspiring, than the factory presets. Will be buying both packs later today.
@@limbicbits Cheers - I couldn't see a bundle, I bought just one of them (the permutations bank) today. But it seems like I missed out on a bit of discount, never mind! They're great sounds so it's not a problem, worth the money.
From the the outer reaches of space comes the Entropy sound pack...lol. A lot of great sounds in there. It's a must buy for me and the previous pack was too. Well done again.
I watch a lot of videos with presets for synths, and I get that these aren't presets, but the sounds coming out of this $650 machine are better than pretty much anything I've heard at any price point. I'm trying so hard not to buy the MK-XD but damn are you guys making it difficult!
I'd really like to do that but first I've to get access to a REV2. Unfortunately, none of my contacts has one. Have you seen this video? I think, he did a great job with his sound pack so maybe this helps: ruclips.net/video/yDzC59SwOfs/видео.html
The effects are all stock effects but for the entropy sound pack I’ve also used user oscillators by mutable instruments in some patches. The user oscillators provided by MI are free and also included in the pack
I find the MicroFreak nice but I'm not a big fan of its sound. At least to me it always sounds a bit too muddy and dominant in the mids. But this can be a great thing, if you connect an overdrive or distortion pedal to it, when you need more aggressive sounds. Minilogue XD is great but it's more of a sweet-spot-synth. You've mentioned post rock. If you don't need polyphony, maybe a bass station 2 could be a great option. Also, the good old Korg MS-20 would be a safe bet for this kind of music. But it doesn't offer presets.
sounds like you're managing to make it duo-timbral in one patch.... ?? I thought it was mono-timbral, I am guessing you're just getting around that in some way. Pretty kool sounds !!
@@WildAnalog Not really, he said it with all the bad intentions to despise the minilogueXD. This guy thinks that a vst like onmisphere can be the same as a minmoog vst for example... because he doesn't confirm that vst could sound the same as a minilogue XD. Bad people are bad from birth to death. It's a pity that frustrated people don't know how to enjoy a hardware hybrid like this.

It’s insane how much this synth can do at and how it sounds at its price point
In my opinion one of the most interesting soundbanks for the xd. Well done!
Thanks for your nice comment
Just hearing this now and agree totally.
Really the best custom sounds presets for the XD, thanks, ciao!
Wonderful. I need to pick up this synth!

Thanks! Make sure to grab the bundle to save some money

Very diverse. Nicely done.

Sounds better than my Pro2! Lovely sound set there, will now be looking out for one of these.
Thanks! I'm still curious about the Pro 2, though

love your stuff. it would be great if you do a REV2 soundbank.

@@limbicbits where are you based?
@@kristosvidinakis Hamburg, Germany
@@limbicbits Schade. If you would be here in Berlin.. I would give you mine. You doing great. Keep On Groovin.
@@kristosvidinakis Thanks for your offer! Maybe one day I'll try the Rev2 anyway. So far, I've only heard good things about it.
You should make a package for the Korg Wavestate!
I'm sure there will be one in the (not so near) future
Would this work for the Korg Prologue as well?
Unfortunately, these aren't compatible.
3:58 😍
This is insane man, did you use the stock effects and waveforms that came in the minilogue XD? Great video!!! (Sorry my english)
The effects are all stock effects but for the entropy sound pack I’ve also used user oscillators by mutable instruments in some patches. The user oscillators provided by MI are free and also included in the pack
The sequences are programmed in as part of the patches I assume?
Yes
Hello!! These patches will work on the XD module, right?
Yes!
I’m just recently getting into synth from post rock guitar. Would you recommend this over something like a micro freak?

This definitely seems superior in a lot of ways (sound palate, ease of programming, bigger keys).
how can i buy this sound pack ? i clicked down the link its identical .spacly i liked the motion patch on this youtube on 10& 20 sec its very short
Hi, you can get it here: limbicbits.com/korg-minilogue-xd-patches-for-ambient-techno-and-electronica/. Greetings

thanks for your comment. If you could tell me the sound you're referring to (video position) I might be able to tell you how it was done.
Funny how these sound like there would be some sense of (stereo-) space, despite I see only one mono cable. Did you add effects at post?
The Minilogue has stereo effects and a stereo output
@@RAFmortis yes, thank you. However, only one channel is connected.
ah - You're referring to the cable? I've used the headphone out with a Y-split cable.
Where can I download this for mine?

Hmmm this sounds like a vst
And unknowingly, you gave a testament to how great VSTs are these days-nicely done.
